I just told you, I prefer staying in Nigeria (my country) living like a king than wander in overseas like a child with no sense of home. Is that too much personal preference for you to understand? You were the one who raised the issue of discrimination. My point is (since you clearly do not understand it) is that discrimination is everywhere in various shapes and forms. It is not a valid excuse to refuse seeking opportunities elsewhere. And if you think Naija is a good place to live like a king, you need to step across Africa to see hundreds of places where you can make your money and live like a king. |

I only care about overseas for holidays, school and visit. Permanent stay is a NO for me.
There is life in Nigeria. In overseas you live like a fugitive, you hear siren, you scamper. You can never legalized your papers to enjoy the same rights as citizens.
With N800,000, I will generate a fortune in no time in Nigeria. Laziness and desperation makes us think of overseas as countries with streets paved with golds. What garbage are you talking? Even in Naija, do all Nigerians have equal rights? When in a place like NEMA HQ in Abuja, Hausa is the lingua franca there. Most oil blocs in Niger Delta are owned by Northerners. How many Niger Delta indigenes own oil blocs for a product that comes from their soil? Is that a situation of equality? |

Ojukwudfugitive: You are a compound fool and a fool your tribe will remain. Why do you Ojukwus leave your crime infested and erosion ravaged region in droves to SW? A region in which Ogun state has IGR is greater than the whole of your moribund region. Lagos has the fifth largest economy in Africa, thanks to average good governance there. Can you say the position of your best state, Anambra? Face your economically deprived shithole region of yours where kidnapping reigns, thereby scaring investors away. Liar! Commerce is what makes Lagos what it is. Wait until the ports at Warri, Onne and Calabar are opened up and these Igbos you hate start taking their business out. Your eyes will open. Lagos was Nigeria's capital: it is no man's land. |
Education › Re: Almajiri Schools Built By Jonathan Government Decaying Across Nigeria by stagger: 10:59pm On Mar 02, 2019 |
Keep the almajiris and talakawas uneducated and illiterate. Let them never know that they have a right to the same quality of life that the children of the Northern oligarchy and their cohorts in power enjoy. Block them from every being enlightened, then go back to give them N500 to vote their oppressors back into power.
That is the ploy of the ApC government and all those who have come before them. They knew that if GEJ succeeded in his plan to use the almajiri schools to shine the light to the almajiris and talakawas, this would threaten the existing system and lead to a revolution never seen in this country before.
That is why they made sure that these schools have never seen the light of the day. That is why Boko Haram that has never disguised its opposition to Western education has not been eradicated all this while.
It is sad that the whole country has now been held hostage by this system. |

He that refuses to work, let him not eat. This is clearly in the bible.
2 Thessalonians 3 verse 10 - 12 spells it out clearly. "For even while we were with you, we gave you this command: “If anyone is unwilling to work, he shall not eat.” Yet we hear that some of you are leading undisciplined lives and accomplishing nothing but being busybodies. We command and urge such people by our Lord Jesus Christ to begin working quietly to earn their own living.…"
God is not a confused God. Anyone who feels he has a hand to thumbprint a ballot for a candidate that has not done anything to better their lot, and still use the same intact hand to beg instead of going to work is a lazy fool.
I have Fulanis who work on my farms, use the money I pay them to buy vaccines and other stuff for their cows. That is diginity in labour. Those almajiris and talakawas should borrow a leaf from this and put those hands of theirs to work. |

Could he even split any votes in the North? Igbos and the Niger Deltans did their bit for Atiku. He should take some blame for not doing his homework in the North. Igbos are not interested in any political candidate. They just want to be treated fairly, which Buhari has decided not to do. So leave Igbos alone. Everyone is facing the hardship. |

MobilityExpress: "He that gives unto the poor lends unto the LORD, and he will give him his reward." - Proverbs 19:17. You think you're doing the poor man by mocking him, nope, you're doing yourself. Mercy will be far from you There is a difference between poverty by condition, and poverty by choice. A poor person with complete abilities and physique, who believes he has a right to remain poor and be fed and clothed by a few "privileged" ones does not deserve such help. - You see an IDP who had an occupation and was driven out of his homeland by conflict and is now lacking, you can help. They are all over Nigeria. In fact, I have an NGO that does outreaches to them periodically, funded 100% by my wife and myself. - You see a widow who was stripped of everything by her late husband's relatives, you can help. I have one who I ensure I drop some money for, anytime I see her. - You see orphans with no parents, you have to help. I have an orphanage where I periodically render assistance. - You see that fellow on the street who cannot pay for JAMB or has no money for fees due to unfortunate circumstances in life, you can help. -That your gateman or domestic help who you know is barely able to eek a living on a meagre salary, you can definitely augment with some assistance here and there. BUT... you see almajiri children carrying bowls around begging while their fathers are sitting down at some distance doing nothing but waste the whole day, while the mothers also sit somewhere else doing nothing, you are not bound to provide any help. I hardly give them and now I have stopped totally! |

And for y'all shouting I'm not giving any northern beggar money again, it would be better to pray you dont get to a situation in your life where youd have to start begging. How many tribes in the Niger Delta do you see in Northern states begging? These beggars are a cancer that should be cut out from the roots! A real cancer! Every evening, you see them around several bank ATMs in Asokoro and other places in Abuja. Go to any mosque on Fridays and see them in numbers. They beg the rich muslims in those mosques who do not even look at them a second time, then they start begging passers-by and motorists. They beg for money for 4 years, then go back to their area to be used to perpetrate these old brigade in power. God punish devil a million times. |

DuxofMen: If you don't know let me tell you. Nigeria's elections have always been fraught with irregularities. No be today. Even the so called credible elections of 2015. Only difference is that there's more awareness and medium for sharing such awareness. More people are on FB, Nairaland, twitter, whatsapp etc. But to generally discredit the process and say we're going back to the dark days because the candidate you support lost is nothing but sour grapes as far as I'm concerned. Between 1999-2015 pdp has a history of manipulating and even writing results. Until we can have a higher level of elections, we are not likely to have a perfect process but to discredit the entire process simply because your candidate lost? Haba.
Let me tell you, in the south whilst a lot of people didn't vote (I know of at least 3 who didn't, despite that they have pvcs), the talakawas trooped out enmass to vote in the north and they all mostly voted for Buhari. You're free to do make your research. Whilst most of you armchair chancers were busy analysing on the internet, Buhari's marchers were on the ground in most parts of the north going from hut to hut teaching old and young people, especially the illiterate ones how to thumb print, especially unto the space beside the broom. These people had been sensitized and mobilized for months to vote in a particular way. The results have now shown and we the so called elitist south are complaining. Fa fa fa foul!
Next time there's elections, mobilise your young ones who'd rather play football on the empty streets to go and exercise their civic duty. The earlier we get away from these old brigade in PDP and APC, the better. They have been the ones spoiling this country for decades. |
