hardywaltz:Have you ever seen a country where Federal roads are not tolled? All over the world (I am assuming you have travelled to a few places). toll gates are constructed to ensure that road users contribute to the maintenance of roads that they are using. Tolls need to be reintroduced. Pure and simple. |
There is no way I can send the advert to you all individually. It is a full page advert. I summarized it here and posted it, yet the post was taken off and I was banned in addition. Rather, get the mods to recover that deleted thread and put it back here. I have no time and energy to start posting the whole advert again. |
Hmm, My office space was paid for at the cost of N1m. We pay taxes, levies, buy fuel, pay PHCN bills, water rate and property maintenance fee. What makes you think a desk space is worth N7,000? You should be offering at least N30,000 for anyone to take you serious. From there, your quota for the aforementioned bills will be paid. |
ChinemeOkpan:When did he ever release the gates of hell against anti-Jonathan supporters? Can't you even verify statements before you write them? |
I have got the paper. I will break down the infornation when I get home. Pls those people who have nothing sensible to say should stay away because I dey vex now. |
For years, all I could watch was NTA and RSTV Channel 55 (later Channel 22). Nobody died then. Now kids are exposed to all those ass shakers on DSTV. Must we watch it? Must we pay for Premium packages? Hell no. |
That was the early and mid 70s. Afro as a hairdo was not a 60s thing. |
PRD:Thethy has been featured on CNN and has attended a major agribusiness expo in Tokyo. I have never met him or done business with him but anyone who has been featured on CNN deserves loads of respect. |
mfm04622:The program will be rolled out nationwide and will absorb 20,000 youths per state. The vendor in my area is getting me the paper. When it comes I will put the info up. But for a stupid woman to drag my wife into her argument and turn it personal, I won't take it. |
smartleo:What evidence do you have to back up this claim? Present one. People were labeling YouWIN as scam. I pushed my sister to rep us in YouWIN2 and walked away with N9m. The people shouting "scam" and "government propaganda" will continue shouting. Those who take action and collect the money will keep pocketing the goodies. |
Rapture07:Meet a newspaper vendor and pay him extra money to source those editions for you. Don't mind all these destiny destroyers on Nairaland that do nothing but talk people out of what the Holy Spirit is talking them into. Even the bible said in Ecclesiastes that you should sow a portion to 7 and another portion to 8, for you know not what evil will befall the earth. You can never tell which of your efforts will bring fruit. It may be YEAP, it may be another thing. Just apply to them all. |
jethro2:The same way people mocked YouWIN and said it was all propaganda until winners started getting alerts. What does it take him to apply? Is it not better he looks for the information and applies to give himself 50% chance, than to sit at home and say "it is all propaganda" and then give himself 0% chance by not applying? |
Controlled:children of Buhari, get thee behind us. |
Mykellio:The only modification to make if you want to make cassava flour is to add a flash dryer. How much does that cost? N12million? The hydraulic jack in my own quotation is even a 30ton hydraulic press, not your 5 tons press. Every other equipment is standard measurement just like yours. Make I take my odeku jare stagger out of this thread go filling station. Case closed. |
My guy, better forget trying to catch a Yoruba lady. Dem no sabi cook like SE and SS babes. Fact! ![]() |
Before I stagger out of the thread, let me stagger you with a proforma invoice I have for gari processing machines at the same 2 metric tonnes per day capacity your are quoting for FIFTEEN MILLION NAIRA. If you add a vitamin A cone blending machine which goes for 700K, the entire cost of the unit is N2.9million (transport and installation not included). Compare N3m with your amount: maybe your won is made with gold abi?
|
Mykellio:Are you for real? I can assemble those machines from 3 companies at 25% of this price you quoted here! |
John Okafor is looking for cheap popularity. How many people in his own village has he helped? Even the poorest of society have children of dead relatives and others who live with them that they cater for. Do they broadcast it to the whole world? Jesus Christ said; if you do these things for the praises of men, you have got your reward. But do this in secret, and your heavenly Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. I am sure that those who contribute to TeHN already can attest to this. |
Acts 16 verse 16-19 16: Once when we were going to the place of prayer, we were met by a female slave who had a spirit by which she predicted the future. She earned a great deal of money for her owners by fortune-telling. 17: She followed Paul and the rest of us, shouting, "These men are servants of the Most High God, who are telling you the way to be saved." 18: She kept this up for many days. Finally Paul became so annoyed that he turned around and said to the spirit, "In the name of Jesus Christ I command you to come out of her!" At that moment the spirit left her. 19: When her owners realized that their hope of making money was gone, they seized Paul and Silas and dragged them into the marketplace to face the authorities. Na today? |
masterz:Common problem. You will not be refunded. Forget the money and move on. |
buygala:How can you talk about someone's dad in that manner? You have no manners. Do you have parents at all? Can you not just offer advice instead of insulting and using rude language on his dad's person? |
noblefarm:You should also know that cassava is heavy. Yet it is made up of mostly water. So why waste money transporting it? Construct a shed in that your farm (or clean up the one I saw in the picture) and do some gari stuff there. You see, we are trying to rescue a bad situation you found yourself in due to lack of research before starting. After now, make sure you have a defined product for a defined market and setup your farm and processing facilities close to your defined market. Ok? |
noblefarm:It is a shared file website. You know they have a lot of funny links. Just make sure you isolate that link and download it. Someone has downloaded it without issues. Why not you? And when you say gari is not moving market, what exactly do you mean? Have you gone done your own market research? Don't go to only one market. Go to several of them. Frankly, selling your cassava at N8,000 per tonne is bad enough. Having to wait 4 weeks after for your money is simply unacceptable. Also, you need to understand that cassava and gari markets have a dual rhythm of glut and scarcity. But you can navigate these periods if you are smart. I don't know about your area, but gari sells here in Northern Nigeria. That is because there are very few processors, and the population that eats it is the southern settlers of which I am one, and we are many. |
noblefarm:You have 2 months to do something before your cassava starts to feed on itself if you know what I mean. For starters, why not locate markets around you and found out which cassava products they have or do not have: gari, fufu, starch, etc. 2ndly, decide on which product you will process. Then find out the cost implications of acquiring the relevant BASELINE machines. a) Instead of a mechanical gari fryer, why not buy frying basins. b) Arrange firewood or gas, whichever is cheaper. c) At least you can buy a gari grater. That one is not too expensive. d) Look for a source of clean water. Buy a tanker of water and put in an overhead GP tank. e) Look for all those native sieves that women use to sieve the cassava mesh. It works just as well as the mechanical sieves. f) Organize labour. Those who will peel cassava, those who will bag the grated mesh, those who will compress the grated mesh with those planks tied together to form the fermentation racks, and two women who will fry the gari. Infact two women is all you need to sieve, construct your fermentation racks and fry the fermented mesh. They can even bag and sew teh bags up. g) Get sacks. After frying and cooling the gari, bag it manually and sew it. Gari that is well fermented, fried and dried can stay for up to a year without spoiling or growing mould. I fried gari when I was small, my dad before me did it, my elder brother did it and I can tell you that if you can stand the heat, there is nothing to it. You do all this, then sell your gari. Even if it takes you two months to clear that stock, do it. Then take the money and start to keep aside to acquire standard machinery for your processing plant. You can build a gari processing plant on a plot of land. Start to do something in terms of processing. Make a plan and God will help you. You can always start small and keep pushing until you hammer. The experience too is worth it. I have attached a document to show you the process. http://www.4shared.com/office/WOowWIfBba/Gari_processing_Techniques-Wes.html |
Lesgupnigeria:I recall watching a documentary where NAFDAC said they now have collaborative partnerships with regulatory agencies in other countries such that when a particular food export product has attained a certain certification from NAFDAC, that product is fit for importation by these countries. Needs some researching. So I would say let us talk about mini-exportation of agric produce. |
He should have had the spirit beaten out of him. Nonsense. |
