BreezyRita:I wonder how people would get into an institution that their parents have been for donkey years and would want to sideline their parents. There are things about marriage that CAN NEVER be known before you get into the union and live with the person in the same house. Parents have seen and known all these things and so when they have certain opinions, they ultimately have your interest at heart. They should never be sidelined. |
A woman is meant to satisfy the urges of a man. I can't imagine being married to a woman without touchables, suckables, rubbables and poundables. The package has to be complete. I should be able to look at my wife while she is naked and fantasize about it for days on end. Keeps the love strong. Thank God say my wifey no dey slack gaan! |
olatunji390:That was 1983, Sabo Barkin Zuwo as Governor of Kano State. Sadly the man died from a fall in his bathtub. |
The CBN should abandon this official pegging of currency that it is doing and ALLOW THE NAIRA TO FLOAT AND FIND ITS REAL VALUE. Sugarcoating the problem will not solve it. Subsidy will have to go. Let us see how low we can actually fall as a country. What kind of country has a trade balance which is 92% imports and 8% exports and hope to keep its currency strong? When there is so much dollar demand what do people think will happen? We only have $1.5bn in our Sovereign Wealth Fund. Our governors have been sharing the excess money from sales of crude oil for years. No savings. No thought about the future which has now become the present. America now exports 8 billion barrels of oil per day and have stopped buying from Nigeria, which used to supply 20% of US oil. Obama has delivered on his promise made in 2010 to cut down America's dependence on crude oil from external sources. Let us face it. There are new realities on ground. The era of $120 per barrel crude oil is gone. More countries are discovering oil every day while Nigeria's reserves are dwindling. Nigeria has now lost close to 35% of its revenue. The only way to recover a portion of it is to devalue the currency. |
UnclePati:You be mumu. You would have given 2 police guys 2k each and they would have raided that mechanic shop and jacked the mofo straight to cell. You mean you still sent the fool 14k after you discovered he ripped you off. Haba. |
LMAyedun:The purity and innocence of the couple in this photograph cannot be missed. Very moving picture. |
Mr OP, Listen and listen carefully. People have rights of privacy. You cannot just start taking someone's picture without their consent so you can "share it with your fellow Nigerians". You should have been beaten black and blue. Even abroad, you cannot just take someone's picture or go to a place like Trafalgar Square and just start taking pictures. A friend of mine was once approached by the police in UK taking photographs of public places. They wanted to know who he was and why he was taking photos. The first rule in bombings is to take pictures of proposed targets. We live in a very bad world now and people will definitely take exception to being photographed without permission. Imagine having my photos in the camera of a complete stranger without a clue as to what he wants to do with it. I would be badly peeved and would hurt that individual. Better learn your lesson and move on. |
Please let Jim Nwobodo tell us what he did between 1979 and 1983 as governor of the state where that hospital is located. I also remember the National Stadium scoreboard in Lagos got missing when he was Sports Minister. We sympathize with him on the death of his son, but what about others who died from the neglect of hospitals under his tenure? What goes around comes around. |
I remember how we paid N2,500 for Mali vs Nigeria NIGERIA '99 quarter final tickets only for Seydou Keita and co to hammer us 3-1 at Nnamdi Azikiwe stadium in Enugu. Chai. That day was a sad one gaan! |
Dynomutt (Dog Wonder and Blue Falcon) How about CLUE CLUB? |
Ask4bigneyo:Where is the porridge in your dish? This type go hook me for throat. The porridge is the koko! |
RedBenson:Wetin "Scotaland" people dey chop? Mumu! |
No fish and no meat. OP why now? N200 fish no too much naa. ![]() |
Buchika:Brother, success has no short cuts. I just concluded a research project for a company in Russia that wants to enter the Nigerian beverage market. The money I made from that project is being used to pay for my mum's house rent of close to 500K. That link was obtained from Freelancer and the best part is that the contact is now permanent. I am helping them with other stuff here which adds to the initial income. You have to work at it. The rewards are endless but you must persevere. Some of the guys you meet on Freelancer have boatloads of money and are looking to spend it on emerging markets. Writing is not the only stuff you can do there. |
So he decided to take his scoring skills to women, scoring up and down. I wonder if anybody forced him to be putting his stuff into those holes at gunpoint. Yeye man! ![]() |
Just dropped off my sis at Millennium Park. SSS guys conducting screening before the buses convey the invitees to State House. Ceremony starts by 2pm.

Ibime:Head to head does not factor in away goals. Case in point: 2010 World Cup qualifiers. Algeria 3 Egypt 1 in Algeria. Egypt 2 Algeria 0 in Cairo. Aggregate score was 3-3. Away goals did not count. Both teams had to go to a neutral venue to play a single playoff match, which ended 1-0 in favour of Algeria. So a victory for SE puts them 2nd. The only caveat is if CAF decides to use the home and away results SE and Congo got against Sudan as a yardstick ahead of goal difference and number of goals scored, the way it was done in the 2012 AFCON qualifiers. |
Inspired substitution by Cameroun. Aboubacar comes in and scores within 5 mins. GOAL CAMEROUN! |
DR Congo has stepped up their game against Cameroun. Cameroun under serious pressure now. What are the Super Eagles waiting for? |
Too many drunkards on this thread. Where dem see goal? Naija dat has not scored away or kept a clean sheet since God knows when? |
Isolate the dog, lock it in a cage and limit all human contact to just yourself for a period of one month. That should do the trick. Your dog is over-socialized. You have probably let it come in contact with every human possible; possibly dog even lives in your house. Feed it once a day. Dogs become aggressive when they are deprived. That is the key. |
bushdoc9919:The problem actually started in 1981 when oil prices fell to $9 per barrel. My dad was earning N700 then. I merely mentioned Buhari because he brought his military style economics and worsened the situation, setting Nigeria up to a situation where we had no option but to run to the IMF with their SAP in 1986 under Babangida, and the rest for the Naira is history. I was merely debunking the "Buhari as a messiah" myth. |
uariko:Point of correction. It was 86 kobo to N1 in 1983. The slide started under Buhari, accelerated under Babangida. I was alive then; during the era of Essenco. Buhari is one of the people who killed this country. When Babangida took over on August 27, 1985, the Nigerian economy was on its knees. These Buhari apologists should stop trying to pull wool over our eyes. If you do not know history, please go and read about it. Why do you think the SE and SS voted GEJ massively in 2011? Which fool thinks he can control prices of goods and services by price control, forcing warehouse owners to sell their goods at half prices at gunpoint with soldiers? That was Buhari's answer. When those goods ran out to the point where people had to go queueing at NNSC warehouses for Essenco, did Buhari have an answer to that? Rubbish! |
pigin:Did it cross your mind that the OP may be an orphan? |
And I need to add that you can augment your income by writing assignments and term papers for all those girls who prefer to do runs than to stay in school and read. Show some ingenuity. You can also gather money to start a small business by the side. One of the things I did when I was in school was that I would sell kerosene higher than the price my family would fix it at our outlet, then use the balance to gather things that could be sold to students in school. I enjoyed my school days wella. So much money to throw around (which I got not from my parents but from business) with ZERO responsibilities. Unlike now when I have too many responsibilities competing for the money I get. So use your head and start thinking. |
golor:Hmm, na wa o. First, as a student you have to learn to cook. Then you have to get a table top fridge and a "I pass my neighbour". Why do I say this? Cooking saves you a lot of cash. You can make soup that will last you 2 weeks with 2k. Meat: 1 kilo: 1000 Egusi: 2 cups: 200 Pepper: 50 Crayfish: 50 Vegetable: 100 Palm oil: 240 for half a bottle which will last you long. You can also use this to eat yam once in a while. Maggi: 10 Stock fish (wrapped): 200 (I consider this a luxury though but you can add it). Garri: 1 mudu: 150 (3 mudus can last you a month) TOTAL: 2,000 Alternate it with yam and palm oil and fried egg. Occasionally, fry plantain and add to rice and stew. Stew can also be made with even less than 2k. You can also make beans and drink gari with it. You should be very dexterious and learn how to plan your feeding which as a student, is your most important expense. You need a well nourished body to withstand the rigors of studying. This your concept of not eating soup that has lasted more than 2 days is ridiculous. I had a roommate who used to cook soup that will last 2 weeks and he did not have a fridge. Today he is a Member of the House of Reps (2 terms). You should also learn how to cook. Suffer initially, enjoy later. All of us passed through this stage and I schooled in a town where I had no relations. There was nothing like GSM, online banking or emails/internet in my era, so if your money ran out, the only solution was to travel home to get it. Yet I survived just like everyone else of that era did. |
Good work and good packaging. Now sell your product. |
KolaShangOne:Timaya vs Empress Njamah II inside church. Haaa! Abeg oooo! |
Khalessi:Good question. He should only assist to drop you. If the relationship has moved to the next step (he has seen your people and done the necessary stuff), then he can give you one. |
