CyreB:My brother, that is the way it is with bank loans. You will never get the complete information. For instance, for the CAP fund, you will need to get a guarantor who will undertake to pay off your liability if you default. Let us assume you need N5m for a business, who will guarantee to pay back the N5m if something happens to your business? Let me give you an approach to bank loans. First, use your own money to run a micro-model of the business. Use this opportunity to learn the ins and outs of your business. Commit all the blunders and learn from it. I will advise you read FarmTech's thread on his poultry farm. It is a classical story of how someone started a micro-business model and learnt a lot of stuff he never knew about poultry. All the glamour that has been painted about poultry business was stripped bare and he saw firsthand what is involved. It is only when you have produced a profitable model which can then be scaled up that you should now endeavour to approach a bank for a loan. So if you are new in the business, I would advise you to forget about any loans. Get a profitable model which can be scaled up. Then you can approach a bank to give you finance. The CAP fund comes with 9% interest, which means if you borrow N5m, you are going to pay back a total of N5,450,000 in 60 months (not counting admin charges), or about N91,000 every month for 5 years. Does your business have such cash flow? If it does not, will it have it by the time the 6 months of grace is over? Bros, look well before you leap. |
Well, they have been on the dance for 17 years now, so congrats to them. There is money, they have kids, cars, houses, investments, and the dude is cool; not as wild as Babayaro. So they are happy. |
Someone tried selling me this stuff for N5,000 sometime ago until I told him about Mr Lee. His mails stopped coming. Mtttchhheewww! |
Wizkid and Samklef are now poles apart. One is growing fast while the other still wants to be carried and babied and petted at the age of 30 years. Samklef, better look for your own way and push hard. Stop depending on Wizkid for your success and whining about it. 30 years old, still crying like a baby. Useless man! ![]() |
Imagine. So this useless company as breeding thieves in their warehousing department. Please pay the aggrieved person back his 300k. What nonsense! |
For those booking hotels, there are good ones at Utako, Area 3, 8, 10 etc. They are above 10k but less than 20k. The trick is never take their prices. Ask for a discount and behave like u want to leave. There are good ones in Gwarinpa axis as well. Please do not be tempted to start going to outskirts. You will be caught in morning traffic. |
So what guarantee is there that the escrow company will not disappear with people's funds once they start handling millions of Naira? Who regulates the escrow company? |

Ladystewie:You are an idiota. Which foreign university allows students to graduate after failing a 3-unit course in final year? Your brains seemed to have taken french leave. |
So I no see better thing to do na to go stadium to watch super chickens playing. MTTCHHHEWWW! Defending champions now praying to qualify as best loser! Warrraahell! |
Asisat Oshoala was drafted into the team straight from the Falconets. If Keshi were the coach of this team, she would have been left out completely so she can "mature". What fool does this when other team coaches are drooling over the unused talent in Nigeria? |
N100m cannot even buy a plot of land in some areas of Abuja. So what is the big deal about it? |
When a father is entrusted with the resources of the state to better the lot of people, and decides to use money meant to send poor children to school and provide better lives for them and their parents, to build a private refinery in Brazil and send his kids to enjoy the loot abroad, then such people can expect the judgement of God to start striking them. How many children died as a result of the kleptomania of Alams in Bayelsa? You think those parents' prayers to God to avenge their children on the thief of a governor will go unanswered? Other thieving governors and politicians should take note: 2015 is a loaded year. |
Bros, go to Zenith bank ATM and cash your money at 157 to the dollar. |
Linda just learnt a hard and bitter business lesson. The business world is not a nice place, and if you do not take steps to protect yourself (I really wonder why she kept using that free Google blog platform all these years ), your enemies will sink you to the depths of Hades. Now she must work to ensure that the new blog is sent to a dedicated server before hackers try to take out the servers where the blog is hosted. |
PapiWata:Plain simple truth. These Liberian bioterrorists are just bad people. |
She has enough money to travel for a meeting with Google's execs. That is assuming she is not arrested and tried for copyright infringement. She can still come back though. |
omoiseselagba:Who dash you jurisdiction? Poor man like you wan get jurisdiction. Better go and make your own money and stop envying people who have made it. |
sirjohnson:Please keep your miserable pennies to yourself. Bishop Oyedepo has an oil well and he is not even the richest. KENNETH COPELAND is! |
There are always Nigerians who will never believe that anything good can come out of their own land. You may hate the man, but you cannot deny the impact he is making. I participated several times in the Junior Engineers, Technicians and Scientists (JETS) competitions in the 80s, when it was hosted by Professor Peter Okebukola. As at that time, secondary school students were designing air conditioners, heaters, battery driven fans and many household appliances. I have once demonstrated the fractional distillation of crude oil in the Chemistry laboratory. What you see in Covenant University was very commonplace in the Unity Schools of those days. The Federal Govt just let the schools rot and decay to the point of death, and become breeding places for cult members. Is it not a shocker that a senator can collect N270,000 a day as sitting allowance and these Unity Schools which were the pride of Nigeria, churning out future whiz-kids are now in such a state of disrepair? Rather it is the wives of these politicians that are now building private schools with the money that their brigand husbands stole? And yet some idiots on this forum will be calling the revolution in Covenant University stage-managed? If you are one of these nay sayers, your generations will be useless and may you partake of the punishment that these thieving politicians will receive when it comes. Nonsense! |
If you profit off news content written by others, that is intellectual property theft and it is frowned on very heavily abroad. Does Linda Ikeji pay taxes on her income? It will be interesting to know the answer to that question. |
edundayo:Typical Nigerian. Always in a hurry. Have you signed your contract? Have your biometrics been captured? Do you know your financial and employment targets which will be used as milestones for disbursement of tranches? You just want the government to start sharing the money. Haba! f |
Denn:Brother mi, There was a lot of opposition to this program especially from some of the people who have held Nigerians hostage and who benefit from Nigerians not being empowered. GEJ stood his ground which is why the program stayed. When I see people criticizing him up and down I just laugh. If he is re-elected (which I pray he is), there is every chance the program will continue, since it is his brainchild. If he loses, the program will be seen as a product of a previous administration and it will be jettisoned. That is the cold hard fact of Nigerian politics. |
ops:Quite right. It has been raining daily in Nasarawa state. Defies logic at this time of the year. |
All these marriages built on ridiculous foundations. Most celebs think it is all about Dubai Dubai and diamond rings. They forget that after all the glitter and razzmatazz, husband and wife will each wake in the morning with mouth odour. Filthy personal habits previously unknown come out. All the hidden stuff comes out. Maybe the husband is the type that throws his socks all over the place; na dat time e go come out. Maybe the wife watches too many films and is a shopping freak, buying plenty of unnecessary stuff; na dat time e go come out. How do you think the woman preserves all those hairdos? Na hairnet galore. The husband will be lucky to see his wife in her complete made-up beauty. The guy comes home in the mood for some great sex; that is the day madam will go on strike. Wedding is for a day; marriage is for a lifetime. Those of us who have been in the institution for more than 10 years know what's up. You need to discover the essence of marriage very early and learn to adapt fast. Any characters that are inimical to the progress of the union must be stripped off. Celebrity lifestyle is not very compatible with marriage. Dakore Egbuson's husband knew this and asked her to quit before they got married; thank God she complied. I am sure they are happier for it. |
Nonybb: GEJ trying to please the Yorubas. Why did he place Ojukwu on the same enrolement judging that he saved one important ethnic group from a genocide perpetuated by General Benjamin AdekunleYou are indeed an ethnophobic nincompoop. The designer of our flag was battered by poverty through successive governments. Now GEJ has wiped off his tears, and all you can remember is Ojukwu who ran away and left his comrades like Onwatuegwu to be killed. You are crazy. |
Kinkybraids: why should she shut her mouth? So you can continue to emotionally abuse her since you spared her the beatingA true virtuous woman who the bible says has a price that is far above rubies would not care about the "half of his money"! You are a gold digger. Pure and simple. |
dandydaniels: I am proud of my dad...that real g (rip to his soul) didn't beat my mum...He's a real manWomen are "weaker vessels", meaning that physically, they are not built to take certain kinds of physical stress, which is why their skin is softer and more delicate. They are not "lesser beings". Your dad may not have been beating your mum physically, but was he treating her like a foot mat? That could even be worse than a physical beat-down. And it also shows the kind of mentality you have to call women Lesser Beings. |
