ak47mann:Story is bullshit. How would they have crossed Togo and Benin with that TRUCKload? Which is easier? To transport same by land or by sea? |
You want to put your head in a place where fire is burning! Good luck! |
This is actually the best strike strategy that will target the rich, not calling out people to the streets to risk getting shot! |
Not just that! He has also directed all the transport unions to meet and reduce taxi fares. In the coming weeks, we should see at least a 30% reduction on all routes where fares were doubled. Amaechi dey try. He should have been the president, not GEJ! |
But let us be honest with ourselves. Soldiers do not go killing civilians except when they are provoked or when they are in a situation like they found themselves in the Niger Delta and in Jos, Maiduguri and other parts of the North. They do not shoot anyhow like police. So what was the dead fellow actually doing? In the Lagos case, we all know the guy was playing football. But what about this fellow? Again, Benin's demonstrations were anything but peaceful. |
It is not hard to get the answer. You are usually better at something that you have been doing repeatedly. That is why promiscuous guys usually make better lovers. They know what women want. Same goes for promiscuous girls. Men usually have needs for food, and sex. Lots of it too. The promiscuous ones know this and use this liberally. Sadly, the non-promiscuous ones usually wait until it is almost too late to find out what it takes to attract and keep a man. |
Now seriously, If Otedola perceives a threat to his person and family, he is going to call the police and things could get very ugly! I would have preferred a picket of his business premises and not his house for crying out loud! |
naijaking1:Ghadafi never thought that the day will come when his carcass will be dragged through the streets and put on display in a cold room for all to see. That day is coming in Naija and very soon! |
I said it yesterday; WE NEED TO START PUTTING BOUNTIES ON THE HEADS OF THE FAMILY MEMBERS OF THESE KILLER COPS. OTHERWISE THEY WILL NOT STOP! |
fasa2020:A drum is 308 litres! |
I would be in favour of every Nigerian contributing N200 each to revamp our refineries to cut importation down to maximum of 20%. If most of our fuel is refined locally, the cost of a litre of petrol would not be more than N40 per litre. Can N200 X 168 million (the official revised figures) not do the trick? N33.6 billion! Can this figure not revamp all our refineries? In six months? |
Where is Nigeria's money really going?

SNB's Hildebrand resigns over his wife's suspicious trade of the USDCHF just days before the EURCHF peg was adjusted. |
Those her puff-puff cheeks are good for suya! ![]() |
To the guy asking for a translation of the BBC quote (as you stated) "An kai hari kan Hausawa mazauna birnin Benin a jihar Edo dake kudancin Najeriya. Kuma mutane kimanin goma sun jikkata a sanadiyyar harin, yayin da aka lalata wani masallaci. A halin yanzu Hausawa da dama ne ke zaman gudun hijira a barikokin 'yan sanda da na soji a Benin." "There was an attack on Hausa residents of the city of Benin in Edo state, Southern Nigeria. About ten people were injured badly as a result of a bombing, which ruined the Mosque. Now the Hausas live in Exile, in police and military camps in Benin." My Hausa is not too good but I think that is the gist of the whole thing. |
At least for this one, there was a clearly articulated plan which would see the PHCN workers absorbed into the new firms and also hired by incoming investors to man their plants. Why did GEJ just lose his head when it came to the subsidy issue? |
Labaran, You are an idiot! The 1987 riots in which you participated as the SUG President of UNIJOS was against the hardships of SAP, not fuel subsidy. How much money does a man have to be paid to lie against himself and his family? How in the world do we have such bastards as Labaran Maku as ministers? ![]() |
Are pastors now tax collectors or tax consultants? What is the FIRS and National Orientation Agency for? |
Some of us were the lone voices in the wilderness on Nairaland, crying out that this woman was an agent of the forces of darkness that have oppressed third world countries for years. Have we not been vindicated? |
Jimmy Boy:The most truthful and sensible post here. This guy knows his onions. Did I hear someone saying use courier companies? How delusional can people get? |
May the Almighty God punish with generational curses all the politicians and their cronies who have stolen this country blind. May God waste the money of all the members of the so-called oil cabal and make them paupers in a very slow and painful way in 3 years. May their roads be very slippery and may they be denied sleep from now on! ![]() |
The entire 1600 buses are to be imported duty-free. Another way of sharing the money! PDP, SHARE THE MONEY! |
We need to shut every element of this callous government down. Down with the PDP government of GEJ! |
That ape of a minister needs to be doused with fuel and given some to drink! Fool! |
When you have Professors who are supposed to guard their status, now lying on behalf of government, it is a shame. What stopped him from simply saying that he could not make it? |

Well begin by burning the IBB house in Minna too.
