LeoMax:Thank you my brother. Americans act like they are more superior to God. Cocky and arrogant set of people! Please, let them leave Nigeria and stop contaminating the air here. |
Korrection:I might actually take you up on your offer when I get back from a course I am currently attending. |
Golf is an expensive sport to play. Golf clubs are expensive and you have to buy several of them to cover the kind of shots you will play for the holes. And when I say expensive, I mean real expensive. You can buy a good second-hand vehicle with a set of golf clubs. In contrast, soccer which is a favourite of most males I know, is not expensive. All you need is a football, a pair of boots, shin guards, uniforms and you are good to go. N30,000 can cover this expense. Moreover, you burn more calories playing soccer than golf. I see golf as a sport you play to interact with big men to close business deals. The IBB Golf course is actually not far from my house, but for me, golf is yet to interest me enough to take it up. |
naijababe:The comment was a generic one. This oil trade, I used a 15-pip stop. My spread is 4 pips as well. Even if I lose the trade, it is not as much as what it is costing me not running my business every day this strike continues. But I do not mind; for me the strike is about govt being forced to do the right thing and make sure we have enough refineries to stop ALL importation of petroleum products. Afterall, if Ibori and Alams could build personal refineries from wherever they got the money from, and Nigeria is spending 280 million for 2 bullet proof cars and close to that amount to change the cars in the presidential fleet, plus the N1bn feeding and the Aso Rock perimeter fencing contracts running into hundreds of millions, I do not see why not! |
wizecoder:That is why it is called speculation. You enter the market at 1 minute to closing time, use a very tight stop loss of 5 pips, and open up your Take Profit zone to catch the move IF it occurs. If you lose, you lose only 5 pips on an ECN broker. Caught 400 pips the weekend the Libyan Civil war broke out in February 2011. In life, nothing ventured, nothing gained! ![]() |
Wetin dey shele? |
Make NLC and TUC no gree o! I have a speculative long position on crude oil. I need the oil taps shut down tomorrow so I can benefit from the spike in oil price that will follow. At least I fit use that one subsidize any increase above N65 for like three months. |
Odunnu:So Make I drive from my house, burn my fuel to go to Three Arms Zone to confirm if the National Assembly building is on fire. Give me ten litres of fuel I go confirm am sharp sharp! ![]() |
All these diasporans on this forum advocating for removal of fuel subsidy should come back home and see how Nigeria's money is shared in people's offices in Abuja. I wish only one person can volunteer to come so I will take the person to one of such meetings. We cannot keep lying to ourselves that Nigeria is broke or that the economy will crumble. Not when renovation of the Aso Rock perimeter fences is going to be done at a cost running into hundreds of millions of Naira, the President and Vice are replacing all the cars in their fleet at unbelievable amounts that will run into billions, and people are eating gold-plated food at N1bn in Aso Rock for a year! And certainly not when ALL ex-militants have been collecting N65,000 a month for the past 50 months for doing nothing to contribute to society! |
The question is: How much is the dollar to the Naira, bid and ask prices? |
Mc George:I am a binary options trader! That is what Betonmarket offers for trading if you do not know. Why should I leave the thread? If you do not want to learn the several strategies we have for trading on Betonmarkets, carry super glue and cover your eyelids and snap them shut!!! ![]() |
::Andrew:::Pervert on the loose! ![]() |
For me, the positives of the strike is that at long last, those long-neglected areas of the petroleum industry such as the upgrade of the refineries and pipeline distribution network, have finally received the torchlight of society and govt. Now, GEJ knows that there is no excuse not to have the refineries up and working THIS YEAR. No more excuses! |
limitbreka:Are you really a binary options trader or you just want to market something? Binaryoptions.net is a place where people can get true binary options education at no cost whatsoever. I think people should learn trading without using short cuts, and they should know what strategy they are using, not just being asked to buy something that they do not understand. |
limitbreka:I disagree completely. How an newbies trade the rise and fall strategy without losing money? What specific strategy will you use to determine the currency direction? Is it not safer to use pivot points to trade the In/Out variety? |
Since the NNPC GMD said no work was done on the refineries in 12 years, why are the likes of Emeka Offor not being called out now to face justice? |
studyineu:I am CEO of my company. I don't have a boss, so that refers to my 6 feet tall wife! |
That nigga is not playing o! No dull! ![]() |
babestella:Jomih Ibrahim had more than 400 filling stations as at 2003! |
iukpe:The bold text is where Nigerians like me have a BIG problem. Why should we import when 200,000 barrels out of the 2.5 million barrels we produce daily can meet our daily consumption in Nigeria? Why should we import when our daily consumption will be reduced by at least 40% if we have good power supply and our railways are working, as well as good roads? (constant breaking and acceleration to avoid potholes increases a car's fuel consumption) So OP, rephrase your question and stop thinking like the government. The issue goes beyond selling petrol at N65 per litre. The issue is about fixing our infrastructure and stopping GEJ from eating N1bn as food every year, if you get my drift! |
The State House Medical Centre bought 2 dialysis machines at a time when some teaching hospitals do not have. The President of Argentina has a surgery on her thyroid cancer right in her country. Our own dey go abroad. Na God go punish them all for squandering our money! |
I was recently diagnosed as hypertensive, so I need the rest. But one of the drugs I am taking dey give me permanent hard-ons. And my madam is wondering if I am on some performance enhancers, especially this period when I have been indoors. And it is like my madam has missed her period o! |
muami:Shut up your stupid mouth! Do you have a brain at all? Read your posts and ask yourself if you went to school! Agbaya! |
studyineu:And if I may add something to my last post, why did the people vote for Dr Onwudiwe in that Senatorial election in 1983? It was because they could not imagine how their "hero" could join a party that reflected everything they had fought against. I do not know how old you were in 1983, but I was old enough to know the kind of outrage Ojukwu's joining of the NPN caused. I was living in Anambra State at the time and so I know this first-hand, not as some passed-down tale from an older generation! |
studyineu:In case you are also not informed, I have two uncles who despite the fact that they were not Igbos, fought and died for Biafra. And to what end? SO that Ojukwu would run away to Cote D'Ivoire for 12 years, come back to join the same Northern Imperialists in NPN who killed 3 million of his own people, as a way to get back into relevance? Some of you so-called Igbos who know nothing about history should have a re-think about this man you celebrate. Philip Effiong who was the 2 i/c as well as the Nzeogwus, Okigbos and Onwuatuegwus of that time were the real heroes of Biafra, not your chicken-hearted Ikemba who ran away when the heat became too much! |
These MASSOB guys are a bunch of opportunists. What has MASSOB said about the fuel subsidy removal? It is to come and be making stupid and irrelevant statements when the country is boiling that they know to do best. Nonsense! ![]() |
y2kaustin: switch47:People whose lives are centred around money can be bought and sold like property. They are not to be trusted! |
numo86:I do not expect people like you who think with their rear ends to understand what I was trying to bring out. I rest my case! ![]() |
Pastors are not meant to be in servitude forever. Even Jesus trained his 12 apostles, and they effectively went their own ways to their own ministries. Jesus sent out 70 disciples in pairs to go and preach. Paul Enenche, David Ibiyeomie and Simeon Afolabi are three well-known pastors who were trained under Bishop Oyedepo. When it was time for them to go, they went. So if 200 pastors decided it was time to leave and branch out to fulfill their own callings after undergoing the necessary trainings, what is the issue there? At least Bishop even gave them money to start with. I wonder how some silly posters here will want someone to go into ministry without a penny. How do they pay for church venues and stuff like that? I worked under a boss for 10 years and I decided it was time to branch out on my own. My boss is still owing me N50,000 salary as I speak to you. He did not give me a penny but I thank God that what he is owing me, I am able to pay to plenty of others under my employment without issues. People should stop this silly misrepresentation of the facts, trying to paint Winners as a church in trouble or a business enterprise. There is a limit to the number of pastors a ministry or church can have, and when it is time to move on, a pastor moves on! If you have a son who at the age of 40 or 50 is still living with you as a parent, no plans to marry and start his own family or be independent, is that son not worse than an slowpoke? Nothing dey there! |
Imagine write-up. People still dey collect loan at this time and age? To do what? BUY CAR? RENT HOUSE? Not even invest in business? CRAZY! |
BlackPikiN:And if this person has HIV or hepatitis C nko? ![]() |
