Forgive me for sounding cold, but why did you choose to study abroad instead of here in Nigeria like the rest of us? I spent two damn extra years in school because of strike actions and school closures over school fees increases, yet I just like many others here persevered and pulled through. You did not involve us when you were making your plans to study abroad and travelled; why are you involving us now? |
Please if there is anyone who has made losses, I think it should be ok to post it here so that the reasons for the loss can be analyzed for the benefit of everyone here. I have not been in sound health lately and I have kind of lost touch with market happenings. |
Low life stupid OP! |
OP, You need to give her a marriage proposal right now. What did you expect? Women are all about attention and communication. Once that is gone, some other guy who is able to provide that will take over. I was in the exact same position you found yourself in years back and I saw myself losing my girlfriend of 6 years; just like that. You know what I did? First, I fast tracked things from my girl's end. Secondly, I tracked the dude down and fucked him up, real bad! He had to know he was fishing in shark infested waters and I made sure he had to understand that in a very real and literal sense. The fellow met my wife recently in a professional forum and he still asked my wife about me, which was good; showed I made a lasting impression. Today, I am married to that babe and there are no regrets. |
I do not really like the way she has handled the petroleum ministry but I have to say: SHE IS DAMN PRETTY! She needs to get rid of that headgear she puts on. |
pip love-vendor:Self aggrandizement is one thing that turns me off badly about you. And you just did it again. Na you press the coal tar for road? ![]() |
The best place to buy cows in Nigeria is the mambilla area of Taraba state. But the thing is: you need to bring in a Fulani into your team. Trying to make it as an outsider is not going to work. Hint: Do you want to buy and sell mature cows, or buy calves and grow them into mature cows (very expensive and risky, not to talk of the logistics of feeding them and medicating them, + vaccinations against bovine illnesses), or do you want to buy and slaughter? Buying and slaughtering in your space in a designated abbatoir in Abuja or Nasarawa after buying in Taraba state is the best. One of my boys reared cattle as a young boy, so I have the info. |
Where is your friend's old card? Many people carelessly dispose of their old magnetic strip cards without cutting them up, not knowing that if you repeat the same details like passwords on your new cards, someone could get the discarded old card, clone it and it will be as good as cloning your new card. Your friend's card may have been exposed at a point of usage. As for recovering the money, na very long thing. |
Bomany, Thank you for your insight. My regular mallam was offering me N156 yesterday, but I went to a Bureau de Change and got at 158, which was a good deal considering that the amount I wanted to change was much. Thanks. |
LaconicINC:I would have loved to send you the article but I am gagged by an NDA. I have to wait until it is published before putting up a link to it. Fact is that practically, NDD brokers are STP brokers. They send your orders straight to the liquidity provider and the quotes you see are from the liquidity provider. There is no problem with re-quotes and slippage. The DD brokers (also known as market makers) usually receive a quote from the liquidity provider, adjust it and then feed the quote to you. In essence, if the market makers get a quote of 1.4020/1.4023, they will purchase from the liquidity provider and probably sell to you at 1.4025/1.4028. So they make a spread profit of 3 pips on your order from the get-go. This is why with market makers, they lose money when you make money and vice versa. Woe betide you if your trade is a losing one; some unscrupulous market makers will trigger your stop loss even if the price is 5 pips away. This is done at their dealing desk. That is why you may open charts of three different brokers and you see 3 different price actions for each broker. The problem is that STP brokers and NDD brokers usually charge a commission for trades (in addition to spread), or they may ask for you to open a large account (some STP brokers require you open an account with as much as $50,000, and put a floor on the minimum lot size you can use for orders), or may require both. This is why many traders cannot afford to use them and then lie at the mercy of the DD brokers. Perhaps if you are as loaded as Odiaero, then you can afford to use an STP broker. |
forexmmart:I recently wrote an article concerning Straight Through Processing and Non-Dealing Desk (NDD) brokers for an Israeli company, and TradingPoint was a broker of mention. Frankly, we need to start running away from these market maker brokers; they are a big problem. |
OP, You just answered the question. It is not Chief Pharmaceutical Director, or Chief Nursing Director, or Chief Lab Director. It is Chief Medical Director. So does your proposal still hold water? |
Changed today at Sheraton Abuja for N155 to $1. |
I don't understand all this talk about big boy/big girl! Must we compete with anybody? I prefer to earn N150k, have my peace and quiet existence than to be a billionaire, and my name will always be in the news for one court case or another, or associated with one filthy politician or one dirty oil deal or the other. That is how my family grew up and I enjoyed it then, and I surely will like to enjoy it now. |
I say we drive them into the desert where they belong. Then we would also have solved the Boko Haram issue once and for all. |
Fuck these Brits. Till date, they have refused to return all the artifacts they stole from the Benin invasion of 1897. Then some years back, they put a travel restriction on Nigerians going to the UK. Then they deny Arik Air operating slots? No way! This is too much! I say we close our airspace to BA once and for all and let us make them feel real pain! |
Even though I am vehemently opposed to anything called subsidy removal, we need the toll gates back. My only problem is whether it will happen the old ways when for example, a car that should pay N20, will run through the N50 toll gate and drop the money with speed and take off with the collusion of the toll collectors. I saw this in operation in 1997 and I was truly shocked by it. |
The CBn governor has just officially announced a devaluation of N5 officially, and you say it is good news? What do you think the parallel market rate will be like? |
Madam Fickle, Congrats. I thank you for at least using your thinking faculties to save your marriage. Some would have gone to spend their time in church praying up and down. Like God asked Moses to stop praying to him and use his staff to divide the red sea, so also you have taken the initiative to save your marriage. Men need enough sexual stimulation in several different ways. Some wives just can't seem to get this point, and when some of these girls (especially these bank marketers and campus girls; fear them o) come around, kasala go burst o! SO congrats. Your case is a rare exception. But what of the Ijeoma girl naaa? |
It is how men are wired! |
unclenna:Questa frase è sbagliata! It is poco a poco (bit by bit, or little by little). Do not use a foreign language when you do not know it properly. |
Rgp92:Well, since you have a brain, I will be glad to pump it out with some lead shots! Fool! ![]() |
Parental curses work! |
naijababe:Naijababe, why u dey waste time with someone who is obviously stuck with his beliefs that defy common sense logic? Imagine writing this statement on eToro education blog where I am a regular contributor: pip love-vendor:Would I not have been thrown out of the job since and they will go to town about "these crazy Nigerians". There is a saying in my language, that a madman sees every other person but himself as mad. I am not saying anyone is mad, but the same kind of logic is playing out here. |
Well, sad tales, but then, we have only heard one side of the story. Some of these workers, especially those from the North I am sorry to say, can be extremely lazy. I close my facility for Cmas and New Year holidays, ask them to resume on January 5th, and some of them straggle in on the 20th, 25th, etc. This happened several years in a row until I started a "no work, no pay" policy for absenteeism without valid reasons, and that is when they sat up. Is it in the culture, the upbringing, the outlook? I cannot understand. |
unclenna:For whose consumption is this information? ![]() |
The CBN is done using foreign reserves to defend the Naira. Sanusi himself has alluded to this in recent comments. Or maybe in the spirit of subsidy removal, the CBN wants to stop "subsidizing" the Naira! ![]() |
Buying more access to lucrative contracts in the corridors of power. Why did he not just build some low cost housing units and called it: Dangote estates? |
The court has ordered his release on Friday! Victoria aceta for Baba Suwe! |
The Reserve Bank of Australia cut interest rates, fuelling AUD weakness, so not surprising. This was a news effect. |
Everyone knows she loves black dick. The whole marriage thing was just a stunt make e no dey like say na only her sisters dey married. Personally, I don't give 2 damns about them. They are spoilt kids. |
