What of the blonde German? Bibiana Steinhaus, the one who is dating Howard Webb. Male footballers can't seem to get enough of her. Even Josep Guardiola. |
See her face like monkey. Has she even molded one block in her village, talkless of a city like Lagos? |
N500 then could buy ONE HUNDRED plates of food, each with 2 pieces of meat, in my school at the time. It was decent pay back then. N75,000 could get you a decent car too. I had an uncle who was also a councillor at the time. They were living large. Abacha's coming caught them all by surprise after they had all lavished their money. |
zylla:When the country's premier league continued when other countries in Europe were on lockdown, were these not super spreader events? |
The assault on the church has begun. This is a country that refused to shut down its soccer league to the point where Trabzonspor terminated Mikel Obi's contract when he complained about this. Now they are targeting churches. Just the same way in New York, the governor feels he should close down religious gatherings of Christians and Jews, but Black Lives Matter and Antifa protesters can come out in their millions to protest with no form of mask-wearing or social distancing. Same way he sent old people to institutional homes against all medical advice and this led to thousands of deaths from COVID. Well, 2021 and 2022 will see more coming. The church of God needs to stand strong as our faith is tested in many ways in these last days. |
They are hiding from the heat of the harmattan. Put a cat there. No single rat would dare. |
The level of illiteracy in the country is high. |
They want to ignore all the years of cocaine abuse to make the doctor the scapegoat...why? |
I never knew activism was this lucrative. |
Well, when you start to flaunt, be prepared for the hawks to swoop. |
Tmlivesport:You cannot transfer from your account or you cannot physically deposit the dollars in the person's bank....which is it? |
angie88:Please stop asking these meaningless questions. There is information everywhere. NO COUNTRY will just give you visa, especially when you have no idea as to how visas are obtained. Visas are entry permission documents and have to be tied to a purpose. Non-immigrant (tourist, holiday, visitation, study, medical) only allow you to go to a country for a temporary purpose and then to return to your native country. Trying to work or stay permanently with this visa type is a criminal offence in many if not all countries. Immigrant (work, investment, business) have to go with a work permit or a business permit and a long-term residency status of some sort, allowing you to stay in that country. Some countries give you indefinite leave to remain if you have stayed for a while. This visa type is difficult to get and there has to be a symbiotic association between you and the country in question. It is either you are working for a company there (which now uses your skills to make money with which to pay taxes to the state), or you are bringing your own money as an investor (usually hundreds of thousands and sometimes millions of dollars, euros or pounds. So when you ask, which country will give me visa for my family, you have to define what you want to get from the process. There is enough information on this forum for you to have defined this already. Problem is many of you do not want to take the pains to do a thorough online research about this. You will be looking for "visa agents" up and down until you get duped of your hard-earned money. |
Kosoco:You are a dreamer. There are already rich men's kids being groomed to be their husbands to perpetrate the dynasties of each family. Abi you no know say shoe get size? |
hustla:The art of looting was perfected in IBB's regime. Do a little research and read about a fellow named Aliyu Dasuki, classmate of Abacha in school who died in 1992. Abacha was able to do what he did as the use of cronies and proxies, as well as the anonymous banking system of Switzerland where code numbers and not names are used to identify accounts. Many of you are novices when it comes to these things. You make comments out of the caves of ignorance. Go and find out how banking systems in some of these islands with nebulous financial regulation work. You think the world's rich are fools to put money in places like Panama, Cayman Islands and Vanuatu? You guys know nothing but ignorance. |
Charly68:Abeg make you help me tell them. How would Gowon have moved such money, at a time when the British Pound was at par with the Naira? Moving such money to the UK at the time would have shaken that economy to its foundation! These Brits think Nigerians are fools. |
Grupo:Go back and read my response and stop the "I know he wouldn't answer" talk. I am not the type to shy away from such challenges. I was already a child in the 70s when Gowon was in power so I know a lot about Nigeria's history from practical experience and not from story books or the grapevine. There is nothing anybody can teach me or tell me about Nigeria's history that I do not know. Fact! As for the other fool who was referring to me, I have no time for him. He is empty and has nothing to offer here in terms of intellectual discourse. |
Grupo:Your logic is actually not logical. Abacha was on ground fully and was part and parcel of Buhari and IBB's governments for 10 years before he took over as Head of State and perfected the looting machinery. Nigeria had barely struck oil when the civil war came and Nigeria was actually broke at the end of that war. Only the surge in oil prices helped the country on its feet in 1973 when the Yom Kippur war broke out involving Israel and the middle east countries they defeated in the 1967 6-day war. Gowon was in a foreign country when he was overthrown and later sentenced to death in absentia for Murtala's assassination. The man was homeless and had to rely on a student visa to get access to the United Kingdom to study for his Bachelors, Masters and PhD degrees. Britain sold Nigeria most of the arms and ammunition used in the civil war and they profited heavily from it. Why did they not arrest Gowon when he was living among them if indeed he carted off half the central bank? If anyone took half the central bank, it was the UK. Afterall, the artefacts they looted from Benin in 1897 are still in British Museums. |
Looting half the CBN? No. Not possible in the 1970s. He was toppled while in Uganda attending the OAU Summit and did not set foot in Nigeria until 1982 when he was pardoned along with Ojukwu in a political masterstroke by the Shagari government. Where would he have had the time to come back to organize CBN looting when his overthrow caught him unawares in Uganda? He was even spotted in the university queuing up with his food tray. Yes, I consider him a war criminal for the atrocities of the civil war, but not looting. Nigerian leaders at the time were not known for it. |
adonainana:Has the bolded been implemented? Please check your facts. |
He will not be missed. |
IamAsiri:OK, thanks for addressing my concerns. |
okoroemeka:Those satchet water bags are made up a variety of plastics. How can you be sure those plastics will not end up in the soil and thereafter contaminate the tomatoes over time? The idea is resourceful, but no one wants to be blamed years later if incidences of certain illnesses are traced to the use of certain media to grow plants. |
remioshy:Your uncle is a pensioner. He probably worked in an era when Obasanjo reigned supreme in the days of Operation Feed the Nation and Green Revolution. Meaning he must have worked for decades before retirement. So you mean that in the years your uncle worked for a living, he could not learn how to prepare land. plant suckers and apply manure, then water them; things I learnt and did as a child. What does it really take to learn these things and practice them? I am sorry to say this. Your uncle has lost his money. That is the price he has to pay. Everything in this world has a price. When and how you this price is paid, as well as the ultimate cost to the individual depends on how that individual lives his life. The things you fail to do as a youth to secure your old age, end up costing a heavy price years later. |
Buliwyf:Scam who and how much? In 11 years of being on Nairaland? Go siddon joor! ![]() |
Buliwyf:Chai. E pain am! ![]() This fellow's brains are so minute, he even thinks that is all I make. ![]() |
membranus:What I wrote is not for everyone's comprehension. Clearly you belong to this class. Also, time will fail me to discuss the issue of righteousness extensively. God's blessings have a foundation of righteousness. You cannot dupe people or cheat people, or lie like the politicians do, or hide palliatives in storehouses while the people starve, and expect to be blessed of God. Many of you who are talking of righteousness do not know what it means. Only the blood of Jesus can make a man's works righteous. Remove Jesus Christ and his words, and the Word of God and anything else we do are like filthy rags unto God. |
Ikpumbe1:God delights in using the so-called "lost causes" to show His power. That is why He is God. |
demanuel:Let me be frank with you. You need to do prayers and fasting so that God will drop the key that will work for you on that platform and others. In my own case, I got a leading in my spirit to earn a globally recognized professional qualification, which I added to my profile when I got it. That was the game changer. I do not even do a lot of work on Upwork any longer. I get connections mostly from other sources. For you, the key may be to learn a new skill to use. I know programmers in Abuja silently earning up to 6,000 euros a month on dedicated work platforms. One of my inlaws went to Asia and learnt animation (you can learn that on Udemy for much less). I know digital marketers who are on dedicated platforms raking in thousands of dollars. You may have to lock yourself indoors and spend time on a season of prayers and searching online for the key, as God gives you guidance. Forget these people all over the place belittling God and the things that pertain to His Kingdom. When you get to the point where God speaks directly to you about certain things in your life and how to go about them, you will never go astray and it MUST speak in your life after some time. I was in Living Faith Church Durumi in August to register my family in the church planting campaign. After sowing the amount needed to take care of one church setup, I had not even left the premises when I had a leading to search my phone and saw an investment opportunity on a crypto platform I have an account in. I made more than N600,000 in ONE HOUR of trading. Throughout this COVID period, I have not known one single day of dryness. Not one. No palliatives, no reliance on CBN loan or any of the programs government is launching. Rather I am the one even giving to people. Christianity is not a game and it is not for unserious people. If you get serious with God and the things of His kingdom, He will open secrets for you that you cannot comprehend. |
Buliwyf:This is my reality. I got a message from Upwork recently congratulating me for achieving the $50,000 mark on their platform. I do not waste my time to reply to fools any longer. They do not reduce me in any way; rather they make themselves look a lot like the fools they really are. I have residence visas in three countries which I procured with money 99% of Nigerians will have a hard time seeing in ten years. But not by my power. Na God finally.
|
JoeEeL:Exactly. See at some point, we will have to collectively decide if we want these cattle rearers and their cronies to rule Nigeria forever or not. We cannot keep running to countries where things work. |
No sane Christian will vote for a party that supports abortion and LGBT "rights." There is evidence of widespread, systemic electoral fraud. It happens everywhere in the world. Mexico was the first country to use software glitches to rig an election. It is nothing new. When Trump was on their side, they wined and dined with him. Trump was hosted several times by CNN in the 90s, even appearing on Larry King Live. The moment he started to show signs of siding with Pro Life groups and openly identifying with prayer, Christianity and tithing, they turned on him. The ways of God appear foolish to those who are carnally minded. When I sowed my first car as a seed according to a word which God Himself told me to perform, people around me thought I was crazy. Some called me brainwashed. People laughed when I used my anointing oil and other kingdom materials, mocking me while they enjoyed their steady government pay. 2020 has been a year of reckoning as God has made a clear division between me and those mockers. Many of them are now begging me for money to eat and pay school fees for their kids. Some of them have sent their relatives to work on my projects. So let the mockers keep laughing and mocking. We will see who will laugh last. |
Benue people should resist any attempts at crude oil exploration, else their fertile land will become desolate. Go to the Niger Delta and see for yourself. |

. It's just the molded soil with tomatoes that will be transplanted.
