ZUBY77: and thank God this came from an eediot. Why not give names of those pple building stuffs that u can associate yourself with. And by the way, what makes u thing Strangerf is not building one those thing u mentioned? As for the Model, leave her alone, she is adding value to somebody's product and life some where and not being parasitic. Kudos to her. |
@beaf, u claimed the ss/se are brothers joined by the hips, but u and i know better than that. In the so called 'one ND/SE' why that some communities are given job quota by oil company and other are left to suffer. Most of the arguments put forward in the OP are valid ones. All these alliance on the pages of NL are sign of the insecurity u guys feel. |
Osun is named after the goddess 'osun' Bauchi means slav e. |
13% TO ALL STATES FOR MINERAL GOTTEN FROM THEIR LAND WILL BE A GOOD IDEA. AS FOR STATES GETTING 13% OFFSHORE OIL MONEY. THE WATER IS N0T THEIR LAND AND POSES NO IMMEDIATE RISK TO THEIR LAND. IF ANYBODY IS TO GET THE 13% OF SHORE IT SHOULD STATES THAT ARE LIKELY TO BE AFFECTED MOST IF THERE IS TSUNAMI OR SOME DISASTER THAT ARISES FROM THE EFFECT OF OFFSHORE OIL EXPLORATION ACTIVITY. STATES LIKE LAGOS, ONDO, DELTA, RIVERS, BAYELSA ETC |
this step is long overdue |
That is 2 billion 1 Naira u know. |
I hopE they learn from this. No be by my brother is in power |
Nigeria has many bad news hidden that's why we have corruption today. |
^^ Harsh reply there. The OP need ur positive contribution. The massage may no be perfectly sent but we understand what he means or trying to say. |
If not parasitism what do we call this one https://www.nairaland.com/894061/fg-islamic-development-bank-sign and comments like this one: https://www.nairaland.com/894061/fg-islamic-development-bank-sign#10406120. The North is certainly parasitic on the south's resource to some extent. They keep supporting their parasitic leaders blindly to keep it going for them. |
LagosShia: I thank Almighty Allah that the Muslims are finally waking up to reality and not forsake their muslim brothers in nigeria to the christian missionaries and billionaire pastors leading the way to destruction in this world and in the Hereafter. And what signal do u think this would send to other poor and jobless people? At first it was mend and now the Almajiris, if these muslims brothers had woken up their Governors and LGA charimen long time ago the way they are standing up to the christians now we wouldn't be having this kind of donation As for the Mega pastors, I am not here to support them but What they charge in their respective school is not far from what ur govt spends on The average fed sch graduate yearly + their personal expenses like rent and Transport/lecture notes. I dont blame any mega Pastor at all. |
OAM4J: Very good! Lets get them off the streets into classrooms. At the expense of other ppl's well being. Is this suppose to be a form of Amnesty for Almajiris or what exactly The bitter truth is anything acquired for free will never be valued by these folks as they really don't need much education to farm or earn a decent living. All these money spending spree from our govt to Mend and almajiris may not augur well the country for in the long run. The State governors are suppose to handle these things. |
At least better than nothing. Nice work saheed |
@Ekwy nwa, before the war, 73% of top military men were of Igbo origin but u and i know the story today. |
If igbo ppl and Igbo ppl alone were the target of the pogrom then, why did Ojukwu secede the whole Eastern region alone. Ojukwu and his kinsmen definitely had sinister motives. Ikebe supa indeed |
Most public schools of higher learning in Nigeria are breeding ground for thugs and future criminals. Lecturers and sch authority have no real contact with or assessment of over 99% of they students they graduate and yet they are issued certificate that claims they are of |
Pls fellow Nairalanders, i need post ume past question and ans for Unilag and Lasu also. |

Chai, what a reply!!!!!! DaLover: after fighting so hard to leave that group, it would be extremely foolish for anyone to drag us back there, |
The same progressive and vibrant Deltans i know ? NEVER!!!! lol |
I wonder if he had his way for third term bid, would he be singing this song now? |
Mr. OP you shld av noticed how HATE topic don't sell any more on NL avoided ya embarrassment. |
If this turns out to be true then.the SW is in deep ACN shit, Chai |
From experience, For those 66 Mega projects there will be 666 scam projects in NDDC. |
I hope this new design is far from being finished. Looks inferior to the old theme. |
@bittyend, nice thread. What u raised here may look like a bigoted view of oil ownership issue, but in reality it helps bring the complex issues of oil ownership to the surface. If we are talking about land and oil under it belonging to any group of people it should be at the LGA and Tribal level here. The other tribes of delta are truly parasitic on the Itsekiris' and Ilajes' oil. If u go to most company that give job qouta to indigenes or their host, they have no provision for the other tribes like urhobo, igbos, and isoko becos they know these people don't have oil under their land in reality. They only claim oil owners based on being in the same Delta state as the real oil owners. The Beafs of this forum and their likes beyond here are technically the most parasitic people. They do nothing in terms of service and prodvct exchange to earn oil money and even blackmail, extort, steal from, khdnap, and intimidate oil companies and their workers whereas the strength and resource to carry all these activities comes from the oil companies: schools, scholarship, roads, healthcare, business loan, and water yet they come on Nairaland to boast about being oil owners. They forget that under total resource control policy, the resource goes to the final land owners. If people who only share the same state with oil communities claim the oil what about those in the same country and continent? Don't u forget that oil is not always formed where it is deposited and its formation has effects on the ecosystem too. How do we reconcile rocks in Kogi, Ogun, Osun or potential earth quake in Plateau and Bauchi. Do we even realize that there is a FG parastatal in charge of the study and monitoring of potential natural disasters like earthquake in Bauchi and Plateau states at all? In reality, there are few valid arguement for increasing resource control by 'owners' of oil if carefully examined. The issue of offshore oil is another very sensitive one that should be saved for another day. |
ND ppl r the real parasites in this country. They don't raise a damn finger for nothing. As far as i am concerned, oil belongs to all Nigerians, a fact backed by Law-Of-The-Land A.K.A. the Constitution). In the good old days of Tin mining rendered some part of the north useless and everybody spent part of its money. It is not about magnitude here but principle. The ND has 'chopped' with north before and didn't call for a break of the country so i see no reason for all the bad blood shown here by them. |

Thanks Jason123. |
Itsekiri and Ilajes in Delta state own most of the oil. Da infamous: |
Beaf:No body put/create crude oil or soil that grows crops over it there, but some people put in real effort to earn a decent living than some others who will blackmail, extort and kidnap those they are parasites to. I know u get my message but i don't know if u are willing to admit it. . . Lol. |
