PDP didn't give any party agent money on Friday, neither did APC. That was when i knew something fishy was going on...
This election might be postponed again.. You are feeling my way too. This time it could be INDEFINITELY. |

An Independent Commission postponed elections to the dismay of both sides and all you are shouting is Buhari Buhari....
You didnt shout Buhari when the same INEC banned APC from presenting candidates in Rivers. Tall about Double standards..
This postponement is to PDP's favour because as it stands PDP is set to lose massively..
Even your paid for report shows that...
But we shall not relent, saving this country from kpletomaniacs is a job that must be done... Dried up Brain box. |

Dino98: I have a bad feeling too. I think APC are playing the longer con....which is, allow PDP win this little ones which seem important but nothing to be compared to the big one....which is the presidential elections and other major hits.
By then when PDP start crying and calling the judiciary biased, APC will be like but u praised them when they ruled in ur favour and against us.
It will be so painful. It would be a very well played con. Sacrifice Rivers and win Nigeria.
I just Hope APC ain't that smart...cos if they are we are doomed. Bro, Rivers state is a treasure APC wouldn't trade for anything, otherwise they are amateurs in politics. |

If I were PMB, considering the deep hole his medications have created in Nigeria's TREASURY, I would, as a matter of integrity, throw in the towel for a healthier and stronger person to take it from here. Then he sits back to administer his useful ideas to the growth of Nigeria, and for the common good of the citizenry, if he has one. Nigeria may spend more this time on his medication if he eventually wins on 16th of February. It's another glaring way of fighting corruption. GOD BLESS NIGERIA, as we all Obidiently Atikulate. |

Individual differences!!!!! If you are supporting Atiku you have your personal reasons....if you are supporting Buhari you equally have your very personal reasons. Which ever way, the evil that men do will certainly live with them. Howbeit, I have done my personal seemingly crude analysis of nigeria as an economic space and concluded that Nigeria needs Atiku more than it needs Buhari. My submission is Buhari has tried his best but he is not the type we need now. I'm Obidiently Aticulated. |

Politics › Re: 2019 Presidency: Disappointed Candidates Blast Buhari, Akitu by Starpro87(m): 8:57am On Jan 20, 2019 |
Whereas I'm not too comfortable with Atiku's eventual decision to back out of the Presidential Debate, I hereby express my disappointment in that a great population of Nigeria ain't ready for the very truth. Jonathan debated in 2015, but he was voted out. Why? Buhari did not debate in 2015, but he won the election. Why? Fanaticism is really a clog in the wheel of good change and development in Nigeria. We have become so fanatical about political parties, Religions, Tribes/Ethnicity, even money and personal interests that we have all lost the virtue to discern. While I may be wrong, I think Atiku is ready to change some things for good. Atiku has been positioned to prepare the ground for who could possibly salvage Nigeria. If we can tell ourselves the truth, Nigeria has a COMPLEX political landscape that it takes much more than grammar to win a position. Atiku has the WILL. He has the SAGACITY. He has the STRUCTURE. We know that....yes we know. We also know those other three who did participate can not wrest power from the incumbent.....of course, the possibility is on the negative side of the divide. Had Atiku given in to the spirit of humility to partake, we all wouldn't see anything good in and about Atiku by the time they finished with him, whereas he (Atiku) has got a lot to reposition. If the incumbent loses it in the end, it would be sending a strong positive message which will be a step forward in getting it right again. Let's do away with sentiments, but move to build a future that generations now after will be proud of. Atiku may be a better option now. Thanks |

VolvoS60: Revealing debate. I didn't know the FOI legislation excludes financial matters - I will need to fact check Mr. Gbadamosi's assertions.
This is the time to extract specific promises from politicians - promises to which they should and must be held acountable. But will Nigerians insist on this? This thread has just 6 pages so far. That in itself speaks volumes - there are football threads running into 100+ pages within 1 hour - on this same NL!
