I've been following the Corona virus thing closely especially in Italy and the USA, I've never heard or seen any of the expert say blood test can be used as a Corona virus test, A Corona virus test is a form a swab through the hole in your nose and the back of your tongue, never heard of blood test

added knowledge::: u can do the test via Serology (blood test) thru antigen and antibody Interactions and this may take few hours of reporting. There is also the alternative of Rapid kit testing which rely on using swab samples from mouth or throat and nose. Being rapid u got d result in a timely manner as if u were taking Pregnancy Test.

Both methods have draw backs like false positive, Sensitivity and specificity. All are medical jargons anyway.
