There's fire on mountain and self acclaimed Queen of queens Dabota Lawson has deleted her Instagram page because of it. Just yesterday, rumours went viral that her marriage to billionaire Sunny Aku has crashed. According to the story, the former beauty queen separated from her billionaire husband, Sunny Aku, with Dabota allegedly citing incompatibility and other irreconcilable differences as the reason for the break up. The day the ill-fated union crashed, her husband Sunny was reportedly broken and battered. He allegedly wept and wailed like a bad-tempered banshee. Nothing happen. Dabota has moved on. You recall that in August last year, the former model and beauty queen was allegedly kicked out of her home because she was reportedly unfaithful to her husband. Dabota had quickly replied her 'haters' with a video of her and hubby cuddling and denying the rumour. The same breakup story came up again this time and it was noticed Dabota had deleted all photos of her home, leaving only photos of her cosmetic line. Right now, her entire Instagram page has been deleted. Dabota Lawson and Sunny Aku got married in December 2014.

All is not well at the Southern Sun hotel, Ikoyi, Lagos. Staff of the hotel staged a protest yesterday over what they deem to be discriminatory practices by the management of the hotel. From posters they were carrying and others they pasted to the floor of the lobby area, the disgruntled staff claimed that the hotel management pays staff a paltry N21 000, just N3000 more than the Nigerian minimum wage, an amount that is paid to even those that have worked for 7 years. The workers further claim that retiring staff are not paid gratuity and suggested that the practice smacks of discrimination against Nigerians, with some of the banners reading “No room for racism”. As of the time of filling this report, the lobby area of the hotel had been taken over by the protesting staff, and this has severally disrupted business activities in a hotel regarded as ranking among the best in the upscale Ikoyi area of Lagos, Nigeria. The hotel, according to sources is a South African owned hotel. See images of the protesting staff and their posters above...

Angry Nigerian rants on Facebook, about the homework given to her 5-year-old niece "I am very certain that when I become a mother, and my children are in this country, I'm going to be the scourge and headaches of some schools. Last year, my niece was given an assignment on figures. A girl that was 4 years old then, you asked her to write 50 – 100 and you asked her to write such in a 2A exercise book. You didn't rule the pages of the 2A, you just gave it to her like that. Except memory must have failed me, the exercise book for writing figures is 2B. The girl got confused at a point, the tired mother spanked her, her cries touched me so raw and I had to go look at what was causing all the noise and tears. I saw it and I asked the mom if any teacher gave her such assignment in a 2A notebook while she was the daughter's age. I wrote a note to the class teacher. Anyway, the nonsense stopped for a short while. If as a parent I send my ward to your school, you in turn now give my child any nonsense homework, then I will let you realise that I can send the Ministry of Education after you Some will give homework that any sane person knows that it is the parents that will eventually do it. My parents, my elder brothers never did any of my homework for me. Homework is meant to test if the child has a good grasp of what you imparted and also to see if your method of teaching is working. You don't test me as a parent. What sort of nonsense assignment is this? What concerns a pupil with Shina Peters? Is this part of the school's curriculum? Some will ask parents to pay for excursions and the destination for such will be shoprite or Eko hotel. Are these schools mad houses or what? And parents still send their children there The other day, one mushroom school in my neighbourhood at Badagry was teaching one useless rhyme… "left right left right, ikebe no dey heavy the owner, left right.." I was beyond shock. There is an open community well right in front of the school, an uncovered well. I wrote about it and a cousin inboxed me to say I shouldn't expose the school. Where do we start from?" Source: http://www.trezzyblog.com/2016/01/angry-nigerian-rants-on-facebook-about.html

Anambra Governor Willie Obiano has flagged-off the construction of a modern integrated poultry farm project valued at $61m (N15bn) at Igbariam in Anambra East Local Government Area. Obiano said the project is in line with his administration’s economic blueprint in the Agricultural sector, pointing out that on completion the project would generate over 250 direct jobs and 2500 indirect jobs. He advised the people of Igbariam to accord the company maximum support and protect the facility in the farm as it would create employment for them. Offering more insight into the investment, the Managing Director and CEO of ANSIPPA, Hon. Joebilly Ekwunife stated that Lynden Integrated Farms project is being built in two phases and is expected to comprise 24 broiler houses with 30,000 bird capacity, 80,000 bird capacity 12 layer houses, four rearing houses with 85,000 bird capacity each and a 2000 birds per hour slaughter house. Hon Ekwunife revealed that the only equity contribution that the state government had made to the project was the provision of 75 hectares of land in a strategic area while the project owners; Lynden Integrated Farms Ltd would provide the funding. Hon Ekwunife further explained that in addition to creating jobs, the project “will also attract further ancillary investments and value chain businesses which will further generate employment opportunities. An egg production outgrower scheme is being designed for the 21 local governments.” Earlier in his welcome address, the Chairman of Lynden Integrated Farms Ltd, Chief Clem Nwogbo had declared that his company aims to position Anambra State as the centre of excellence for poultry farming in the South East and South South regions of Nigeria. “On completion, the farm facility will produce high quality poultry products – table eggs and meat. In the last week, we placed the order with our suppliers, Big Dutchman and C-Lines, respectively, for the equipment required for the first phase of our the layer farm. Construction of site infrastructure and buildings will commence later this week and we expect the layer farm to be commissioned by August 2016 with the first eggs leaving our gates before the end of 2016,” he said. Chief Nwogbo commended Governor Obiano’s commitment to creating and sustaining an enabling environment for credible investors that are looking to set up shop in Anambra State and applauded the almost clinical efficiency of ANSIPPA in the handling of the necessary paper works in the build up to the formal inauguration of the project, saying “that such efficiency is uncommon in a typical government setting.” Source: http://www.trezzyblog.com/2016/01/obiano-flags-off-construction-of-n15bn.html

E no easy for Wizkid this year |
This year seems to be hot for Wizkid.Another singer has accused him of stealing his song. In a new song titled Killah by Blackface, the former Plantashun Boiz star brags about his street credibility and how he makes the parties go wild.He also said Wizkid stole his melody. This makes things messier for Wizkid after Dammy Krane had earlier accused him of stealing his song. In the 4.29s clip, Blackface sings in his trademark reggae-influenced style and the song has a catchy hook. Read the lyrics of the song below: “Industry is packed up with some wannabes, “That’s why Wizkid try steal me melody, “But them copycat na gat me energy, “Me burn them and send them to the cemetery, “Tell dem copycats them playing with fire, “Tell dem be original or them better retire.” I hope say Wizkid no go break bottle for your head.Make u try be careful before we go hear say blood don flow for ur head. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a0zqzuOrRbk

Governor El-Rufai today launched one meal per day to 1.5million public schools in Kaduna state. The event was held at the Aliyu Makama Primary School,Kaduna.Speaking during the launching,he said... 'The School Feeding Programme will provide one meal per day to 1.5 million pupils in public primary schools in Kaduna State I am moved by the responsibility to implement the school feeding programme for primary school pupils. It is an unprecedented undertaking in this state, but one that we solemnly pledged to do when we were campaigning. Today is a special day in the unfolding of the change agenda the APC was elected to implement. The programme is a direct intervention in the health of our children, situating our schools as places to promote education and nutrition. It is a challenge in terms of its scale, cost & the logistics required to deliver the meals everyday. But our children deserve this, & more. It would save parents money, empower the women who have been selected as the vendors and expand the market for farm products'. Kudos to him Source: http://www.trezzyblog.com/2016/01/governor-el-rufai-launches-one-meal-per.html
