@ premierlead you should not be surprised, it's a lifestyle you both indulged in and also encouraged, it was what brought both of you together and you only wifed her because she got pregnant and you both parents were friends and won't mind the two of you ending up together not because of her kneeling down to greet (which is almost outdated and not the basis for good character) elders. The difference now is you stopped after marriage (not sure) but she continues and even do it openly because those around knew she was married and they were still hailing them. This is a clear case of how the society works now, immorality is the order of the day and no one sends anybody...
It's left for you to sit down think things out within you, talk to her and take decisions based on what will give you peace of mind.

It actually a not so funny story.

So I worked at a private school 8am - 2pm for a pay of 17k monthly. I was employed to work as an Agric and Economics teacher. Payment is always prompt and I'm never owed a salary. Few weeks after I resumed, a teacher left and her subjects was distributed to other teachers. Hence, I am taking 3 subjects now. The teacher that left was also a class teacher of JSS1.

Fast forward to today, after exams where the class teacher will be collating scores, I was told I will henceforth be the class teacher of Jss1 which I outrightly reject. The proprietor was called upon and to quote him, he said ' Authoritatively I'm making you the class of JSS1" and I replied that I reject it.

I got home angrily and hungrily, I put a cup of rice on fire and I called a colleague of mine on whatsapp and was discussing the issue with her. I got carried away and the pot of rice was extremely burnt.

In the bid to remove the pot from fire, not thinking straight, I took the 'new school sport wear' (a cloth we were forced to buy for 6k and the money will be deducted from our salary) that I left hanging in the dining room, outside minded I use the cloth to carry the hot burnt pot of rice.

The result has being attached.

I'm walking to the man tomorrow to terminate my appointment immediately and pay me my remaining salary!

After my NYSC last year, my cousin brother invited me to come stay with him so he could look for a job for me or try fix me somewhere.

I was grateful and moved over to stay with him, due to the new environment I didn't know anyone and he was the only friend I had, we talk and do almost everything siblings could do together, earlier January he had a girlfriend and I was happy as she became the second friend I had in this new state, in fact my friendship with her was even closer than that of my brother.
But later along the line the closeness between I and my brother wasn't as it was again, I come back home in the evening and most times I don't see him and began missing his presence.

This isn't even the problem, the problem is that I subconsciously started seeing his girlfriend as my rival which I wasn't suppose to.
2days ago, I prepared a meal for us but he didn't come back home and I ate it alone, I came back home yesterday and found out the pot of soup is gone and pot was washed clean, I was sure he has eaten, so when he came back, he told me he came with her in the afternoon and they ate, I quickly flared up and talked to him in a tone I wasn't suppose to, his girlfriend tried to calm me down and I told her to mind her business as this is family issue, she felt bad and left the house, came back hours later with groceries, cooked meal and left, that's was when it occurred to me that I haven't been good to her and made my emotions got the better of me, I tried to apologize to my brother but i still feel so bad and really don't know how to approach his girlfriend and apologize, I was sure I can't loose my brothers friendship, but I also don't wish for any bad relationship between I and his girlfriend due to my emotions

please I just need mature advice, that's why I bought it to family section

Yes, she very much does. For her own practicals.

If I were op's wife, what I do would be to give her a list of things to buy, then I'd willingly teach her for free.
Getting them will prove that she is willing to invest in herself and serious to learn, and that she's not going to waste my time and effort.
People easily take free things for granted.

Hello guys, dunno if I should post this here or not.

I've been squatting with my guy for 2/12 now and he has been a very good & excellent guy to me.

Not once has he showed me any attitude since living with him.

However something happened this afternoon which I feel terribly guilty of.

He urgently needs 10k to help give to his mom who came visiting him for like 3days but I lied to him that I only have 3k, meanwhile I have a total of like 17k in my account.

Now before you cut off my head, let me tell you about my predicament. I'm actually working working but that money is something I've planned to use to relocate and manage myself in the new apartment someone leased to me for free. I'll actually be using my blanket asmy bed there. I've exhausted all the loan apps on my phone, and the salary I'm even waiting for would read minus once it enters, in servicing those loans.

I'm not re sure when this my guy would return the money, as I'm in a precarious situation here, and don't want to keep add up loans or begg from colleagues when I need the cash badly, and I won't want to start disturbing someone who's helped me for free for 2/12.

This is money I can actually dash him if I were boxed up as I've done to a friend who housed me for 1week before- I fsshed him 10k when I was leaving for his help, even though it's very small compared to the help he rendered me then.

I'm however feeling very guilty I lied to him, but if I tell him the truth and don't help him, Ill be like a villain as people rarely understand anything.

I need to leave his place not because I know the sacrifice he's made for me, and I need to move into that apartment quickly so as not to miss it.

I know how he really needs his privacy as it's just a self-contained apartment, and apart from that, I also need my privacy to think we'll, as I can only do that when I'm alone, which is almost impossible in his apartment.

Guys please send your candid opinion about me.
