You might want to know the best eBook publishing platforms you can use to publish and distribute your books. The most important ones are:

1. Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing.
2. Draft2Digital.
3. Streetlib
4. Publishdrive

Note that Amazon is the leader in the digital book publishing industry with over 60% of the publishing market share.

BigFrog:
the problem is I don't just know how to tell him I can't do it we as it looks somehow. I only ask for 24 hours time to get back to him. If his plan is if I can pay for him then I will diduct it from future rent that will not work. Because even the shop I am already tired but only hoping thing might get better my mind is still on moving out anytime soon. Even if I have the money I cannot lock it for rent that there is no head way yet. I am tired and have not been myself since he told me this. That money is 3 years rent and I am not owning him in the next 9 months.
Cook up some experiences you have had for standing in for others in instances like this and also add that you are currently a guarantor for two other people for which you are already praying they should not default and hence can't be able to add any of such to it to avoid neural breakdown.

Better still, tell him you yourself is on the verge of defaulting in the loan you took from a bank and hence can't add the burden of being a guarantor for another person on another loan matter.

That is wrong and bad. Tell her if anything is missing from your house, she will be held responsible.

Please snap it and keep it as an evidence.

Author brand is one great thing to build as an author. You can create and maintain an author brand in the following ways:

1. Write a series book which will have a unique and professional covers. The covers for each book in the series should be closely knitted such that readers can easily identify them.

2. If you write stand alone books, make sure they are all in the same line of thought and unify them with a unique but similar covers.

3. Use social media to create profiles, pages and groups that promote your writing and books.
FamilyRe: I Want To Report My Mum To Human Rights For Child Abuse by Stevenbright(m): 6:00am On Jan 19, 2022
Deborah200299:
Good evening everyone , all my efforts were in vain. My parents, four brothers and grandmother denied everything and my sister has refuse to talk about the abuse , she kept worshipping my mum. They have all turned against me and no further actions were taken due to lack of proof. My mum , dad and elder brother ganged up against me and beat me up. They have seized my big phone and I am using the small phone. I swear some people like my sister deserve to suffer I don't think I will ever intervene for her again. I have washed my hands and thank you for all your advice.
You did the right thing and in due course, you will have no reason to regret it. Despite they denied it, there might be some positive change in their attitudes towards her.

You don't have to be angry with the small child for not speaking up as she is just afraid of the unknown and remember she is an orphan. Also, your grand mum should have protected you. Nevertheless, work with your Grannie to get your phone back.

So sorry for the abuse on you but please keep loving your sister and caring for her.

The thing is he picked up the habit the period when you guys where staying apart probably thinking it is better to do that than cheating on you with a regular girl.

He can change but he first need to recognize that what he is doing is wrong instead of just pleading for forgiveness and making fake promise to change.

Thanks man.. heard from her friend that sh said am too stingy,.

Honestly I didn't make her spend up to 50k from her wage.. 300k is not big and can be exhausted soon..

The weight will be too much if I form the normal Nigerian guy who likes to carry load on their head
The only problem I see with your plan is in intending to contribute more monthly into the vacation joint account than the children education fund account.

You may need to review this aspect.

My brother cars dey o......just know the one you are going for and the purpose you have in mind.

Like here ,I got a good one for 180,000. A friend sold to me. Generally, i observe that tokunbos are more expensive. Cheap cars can be anywhere from 150,000 to 500,000 depending on how fortunate you are.

Some have plenty cars in their compound ,wasting away. Sometimes when they see abuyer, they just give it away.

My advise,.meet some mechanics around. You will be surprised how cheap some even big cars are when you price from mechanics. If you have 200k to 300k you go see a good car ,even though not the type that can do Uber. Add something to it, you can get.clean Uber type ones from mechanics if you are forunate for 300-400k.

But mind you, keep small thing for general maintainenance.

The secrets na mechanics.

Tell them your budget....they will get cars for you, na you go tire especially January or February like this so.
Wow, thanks for sharing your wealth of experience with me.

What me I did , I took loans from some microfinance banks and bought an Audi ,later sold it and bought a Nissan estate for bread distribution business.

My brother I prefer to borrow from banks and slave to pay the banks than buy a car on hire purchase and pay times two or three to the owner of the bus, with a high probability that if you default ,you can lose the car ,becuase it is hire purchase.

I can't slave for one idiot and be giving him times two or three of the money he used to buy the bus.

I can't o, if you get that kind power to slave for a year or two, to buy an hire purchase car, you can go ahead, but if not my brother, join some microfinance banks meetings and apply for loan.

Most of them give 100k ,to repay in 24weeks. Collect from two sources and buy one cheap motor to start with. The car is your own ,you will just be repaying the loans weekly. But if you default, they can embarrass you o.

If you extra funds you can add, even better. Add whatever the microfinance banks gives you and buy something your pocket can carry.
Great advice!

Like how much can buy a good car for transport business like you advised?

FamilyRe: Help!!! How Do I Change My Father's Mode Of Dressing. by Stevenbright(m): 3:20pm On Nov 20, 2021
Perez99:
Good day nairalanders.
I will make it very brief. Please I need your advice.
I've been a nairalander since 2016 but this is my first official post.

My father is a good, noble and humble man. A successful business man. He's very proud of us (his children), we're also proud of him. We're 3. I'm 29 years of age, the eldest and only son. He make sure we don't lack anything. We all went to one of the prestigious Private University in Nigeria. I and my immediate baby sis are graduate, while last born still in 300l.

The problem is that, my father don't know how to dress, he prefer to wear faded and worn out clothes. My dad drive highlander 2014 model. If my Dad comes down from his car, you will think he's a driver to an imaginary Boss because of the way he dressed.
Blessed memories of my beloved mom May her soul R.I.P. She was always complaining and sometimes my Dad won't listen to her.

I'm a good fashion designer, my love for fashion is topnotch. I also own a laundry store and a barbing store. I've been privileged to sew some clothes for comedian Buchi which he loves so much and he promised to patronize me again.

GOD in heaven knows how many lovely, mature and soft dress I've sew and bought for my father with my money. He only wears it once and won't wear it again, there are some he haven't put on at all. He celebrated his birthday August, I bought this nice shirt 18k for him as a gift. Till today he hasn't put it on.

Please note: money is not his problem. The other day he stopped by at my store, I and my boys were working. He noticed nobody was using one of my industrial machines. He asked and I said it was faulty. He said how much? I said 170k but I'll change it soon before January....(because I just wrapped my car from corolla to ES Lexus)....Before I could say Jack... Baba don send me 200k. I ordered the machine instantly.

See what happened this morning, He got an invitation to attend a meeting. The smartest way to dress for a highly regarded man like him is native wear.
So he gave me this faded black trouser turning white to brush for him, that he wanted to wear it for the meeting...See eh, It was so annoying. I went to his room gathered the nice, starched and ironed native I could gather and I told him to select one, that I won't brush that faded trouser. He started saying ... " I'm proving stubborn and all manner things"... I'm sure our tenants could hear our argument.

Please Nairalanders. What can I do to make my Dad dress well. I plan to set fire on those faded and worn out clothes but it will look so disrespectful. I'm sure his friends have accepted his mode of dressing.
My siblings and I are tired of complaining.

Please I need an advice!!!
Please mind your business and leave your Pman alone.

He knows what he is doing. He is just disguising and living a simple life. If that is the way he gets his peace of mind, let him be!

RomanceRe: I'm Not Marrying Her: How DO I End This Relationship, All My Trap Has Faild Me by Stevenbright(m): 7:07pm On Nov 11, 2021
Mylordmygod1:
A beautiful afternoon to all nairalanders.

Firstly, my greatest fear when it comes to things of this world is 'women', That's why i don't want to break a womans heart in a way that i will be the one to recieve the blame.

I've been in a relationship with my girl for about 3years now, and each time my mum or friends ask me if i'm gonna marry her, my answer is always a capital letter NO.

Now, my mum is warning me to better let her go since i don't have the interest of marrying her. But the hard part is that i'v been promising this girl that i will marry her even when i'm 100% sure i won't marry her, and i don't no how to go about ending the friendship now.

Recently, i've been picking offences for minor isues, getting angry with her for no reasons, trying to give her signal, but none seems to be working, and its now like my anger is her source of happiness these days.

I really want to end the friendship now, but i want the blame to be on her side and not mine, how can i go about it?

ADVICE ME WELL

Thanks.
That is heartless and inconsiderate of you! Why do you keep promising what you are %100 sure you will not do?

FamilyRe: Marriage And Having Children by Stevenbright(m): 8:52pm On Oct 29, 2021
Klass99:
Interestingly, my father who had seven of us said - two kids are more than enough in this age and time. Because, things are not going to get better in Nigeria and children will be even more stubborn and more difficult to manage.

If you ask me I'll say two kids is ideal, practical and very sensible. And it's not because my father thought or said so. It's just less stress and strain! But, the folks with one or two kids seem to be really thriving and living it up.

@ Vision101, I'm impressed and your narrative made me smile. If I may ask was your reality of one child a conscious decision by you and your wife or an act of God? You don't have to answer, but I will appreciate it if you do.
Ya, and the observation "children will be even more stubborn and more difficult to manage" is already happening.
FamilyRe: Marriage And Having Children by Stevenbright(m): 5:46am On Oct 29, 2021
Klass99:
No, it is not advisable to have lots of children in this age and time.

Multiply and be fruitful (in the Nigerian context) is not the task of one person alone, spread the task around, for those who want it.

Having children and being a parent, should not take over your life to a point where you no longer have a life and can't even afford nice things for yourself.

Neither should it take over your life to a point where, it seems like your only purpose on this earth is having children. There's more to life than that.

Have a reasonable number of children you can take care of, without losing yourself and your soul in the process and which will also allow you to still flex, achieve other dreams and live a good life as an individual.

My colleague who dresses really well, takes vacations to nice spots and owns his house, is married with just one child. I'm not sure his current lifestyle or other feats (like the house and luxurious vacations) would have been possible at his age with 4 or 5 kids.

People with 4 or more kids are often the ones, I see struggling to pay bills and meet the demands of their family unit/household.
I have always seen 2 as the golden number when it comes to number of children in marriage.
