Maryland has been discussed here severally. You can read part 3 of this thread not sure of the page though. The most important thing is that Maryland is expensive. You can check PG hospital but they don't have delivery package and their fees ranges between $6k -$10k for vaginal delivery. Most people have used Dr Chaudrey here as well, his fees his between $2k-$3k not very sure now. Search the thread for further information.

Chiowerri:
good morning, please can anyone share their experience in Maryland US asper fees, hospital etc. OR Direct me to a post relating to birth in Maryland. thank you.

@ temyb, i have been silently following your post and always pray for you and the twins. I so much believe that the good work of God is just starting in your life and family. Your greater testimony is at hand. Be ready! Our GOD is too faithful to fail. Kisses to the twins.

@Nnystc, am inspired and motivated by your testimony. It just a proof that God is always present in every situation, all we need is to call him to take charge and be the driver while we are at the passenger seat relaxing and praising HIM.

greetings to all nairaland mums. I am just a lover of this forum but seldom contribute.

Good afternoon everyone. I have bin a silent follower of this thread. I was actually one of the 2014 MIHS mamas....its bin a while tho...
I'm here to testify of God's goodness and also encourage someone.
My visa expired in March 2016 and I reapplied via Dropbox in June 2016. After a week, I got a call from the embassy to come for an interview, I was a bit disturbed cos of the $2888 we paid at MIHS as someone has said she was denied visa because of the amount we paid at MIHS. Anyways, I got all my docs ready and trusted GOD to favour me. I went in for the interview today 13th July and the following ensued between myself and the VO

Uniottawa takes 2.2 in some cases especially if you have years of experience. The best way to be sure is by sending mail to graduate studies or course advisor for direct and correct information. All the best.

It is realistic as long as the school allows you to defer the admission. So first step is, send a mail to the school to find out their deferment policy. Sure you are planning to work in Nigeria and not in Canada?

Seniors please help me. Online or Paper which is better?
Travel / Re: Travelling To Canada Part 10 by stinux(f): 1:52pm On Jun 10, 2016
Why don't you just apply to Uottawa following all the procedures stated on their website. For further help or assistant on how to go about your application, contact the academic advisor(department) or graduate studies. You might be considered considering your years of experience or how convincing your statement of intent and CV looks. All the best. I was give admission with my 2.2
Avalon316:

So you think my chances are limited? Or I don't even stand any chance? Can my years of experience of 8 years help me in any way. How about if I prepare a sound statement of intent?

This question has already been answered like 2 pages back. Pregnancy cannot reduce your chances of getting a TRV. All the best

Just send a mail to Graduate studies to explain your plights. They dont defer admissions but if you have a genuine reason they might consider you for winter. Try your luck.

Yes you can apply with your son. People have done that here successfully. Just proof that you have factored your son into your cost of living in Canada.

Read previous posts for better understanding.

JUBILEE2000:
Hello house,

Please I need candid advise from the gurus in this forum.
My wife just applied for a graduate programme in a Canadian university. I will sponsor her from Nigeria but she needs to travel with our 3 children; the eldest of them is 5yrs old. The challenge now is this: how best can we package their visa application to convince the embassy to grant her study permit and also allow her travel with the children? Please your advise and suggestions will be highly appreciated.

It is possible, l know someone that applied with 3 children and all of them are now in Canada. She applied for study permit for he children as well as they will be going to school.

The program you are applying for, does it require you emailing a potential supervisor before applying?

I was initially applying for course based program which does not require Supervisor but l discover that will only take me 1 year to complete(full time), so l changed my mind to do thesis based. I just sent a mail now to ask whether l am required to contact a supervisor myself.

I applied to uOttawa and submitted my academic IELTS result. Language test requirement is program specific so you should check the school's website to see if your course of study has specific requirement.

Thank you.

Hi I bought a Philips a vent electric breast pump in the US via amazon, I ve been using it here in Naija without qualms didn't need a step down. Just connected it to an extension cause our socket shape here is different from the US. It works just fine no issues.
