PoliticsRe: Amaechi,Ben Bruce In Dirty Twitter War by StOla: 3:38pm On Feb 07, 2016
CharlesPhc:
Wike mentioned Amaechi's name several times, why didn't Amaechi do to Wike what he intends to do to Sen. Ben Bruce?
Wike has never shown any scruple in talking without thinking, apart from being a governor who can always set up a kangaroo investigative panel to arrive at a pre-determined conclusion. Murray Bruce is a sissy who only discovered twitter and is determined to use it more than Nicki Minaj.

Most importantly, Wike is River state government and any legal action against him will be a case against the office of governor and against the state.
Murray Bruce is just some quiet senator, but noisy twitter user who has no shield nor immunity from prosecution. He stands alone and will fall like a log not dug into the ground.

I also believe that Murray Bruce has already read the response of the commissioner of information Ibim Seminatari, on what the totality of said funds were spent on.

So Murray Bruce only talked wildly like he was in a beer parlour but when put on the spot to state his accusation clearly, he suddenly developed cold feet, knowing he wasn't just entertaining his own party any more but might have legal consequences.

Subsequently, Murray Bruce will only make accusations on twitter that he is sure he can defend in a law court without a mob that are hoping to be entertained.
PoliticsRe: Amaechi,Ben Bruce In Dirty Twitter War by StOla: 3:09pm On Feb 07, 2016
Ben Bruce will not mention the name.

He has already heard of one man named Dokpesi who has begged Tinubu to settle out of court, and is now daily apologizing profusely for the next 3 months.

Murray Bruce though loquacious, knows when to shut his mouth and will not provide the evidence for his own libel accusation.

Words cannot truly capture the kind of human being that Jonathan is.

To think that I actively campaigned within my social circle and online platforms that he must be duely elevated to Acting President when Yar'Adua was comatose in Saudi Arabia.

I remember reading a newspaper article early in the Yar'Adua presidency when the president was still somewhat healthy, on the uneventful office of the vice president Jonathan. Some Bayelsa women supporters had visited the wife of the vice-president Patience Jonathan, and enquired from her the whereabouts of her husband. Her sorrowful reply was that he was performing his job of reading newspapers as assigned to him by the overbearing Turai Yar'Adua.

Not until Jonathan assumed the presidency at the demise of Yar'Adua did I realise the import of the task Turai Yar'Adua assigned to Jonathan the vice-president. Despite having a PHD, she simply found him so bereft of knowledge that could be useful in the administration of her husband.

Jonathan was the epitome of the word clueless. It was a trait that put him in good stead with principals who didn't want any ambition in their deputies, but same trait in him as the very principal was the perfect requirement for catastrophe.

The only defence a democratic thief needed in those days was to ask for asylum, claiming that the military dictatorship in their country was clamping down on democracy activists.

The UK would never have released a politician to a military dictatorship.

Buhari has always been good in providing great and appropriate hospitality for public fund looters.

This daring and wilful attempt to ensure a fellow Northerner did not escape justice, put Buhari in the echelon of the anti-corruption fight.

An irresponsible president who had nothing to show for the myriad of corruption scandals that occurred in his tenure, tried his best to discredit Buhari with this Umaru Dikko episode, but ended up promoting the Buhari brand as the only rational and patriotic option available to the electorate.

The same ineffectual buffoon when told that his regime would be probed, even had the temerity to suggest previous national scandals/frauds that his successor should also probe, while forgetting that he inherited the reports on those scandals and had been president for 5years without showing any interest in those reports till he was sacked by the electorate who were puzzled that such an irresponsible and useless being existed in this world.

PoliticsRe: Fielding Jonathan In 2015 Election Was A Mistake - Fayose by StOla: 9:25pm On Feb 06, 2016
Was Jonathan from the North when the middlebelt, some Northern states and the SouthWest voted him as president in 2011?

A president Jonathan who had evidence of performance and a record of anticorruption would have won any Northern candidate.

Instead Jonathan kept on saying "if re-elected, I will do...", and Amaechi aptly termed him "President I will do".

Jonathan was the president who always set up useless committees on every matter without even reading the recommendations of those committees.

He then set out to highlight how Buhari fought corruption with fury during his military regime. Jonathan sold the Buhari project more than any Buhari sponsored advert.

Then lastly, Jonathan confirmed what we have always known about his vehement refusal to fight corruption when he asked the immortal question:

"How much did Jim Nwobodo stole that Buhari regime put him in Jail?"

The world marveled at the purest form of presidential cluelessness and irresponsibility.

Nice to hear from you after a long while.

I hope them boys now have mercy on your inbox after you removed the inviting picture of your defensive asset?
Like I said to you then, you are quite something to behold.

If Tinubu did that then he is also a thief who used his position as governor to acquire state assets without any form of due process or competitive bid.

I am a hard core Buharist because I have found him to be an aversion to the average Nigerian who would never pass up an opportunity to steal with much greed.

I only support Tinubu for his role in positioning Lagos as a city that works, his role in mentoring future administrators for Nigeria, but most importantly for dislodging the cancer called PDP from national government. This is the major reason you all hate Tinubu and Amaechi, because they are responsible for your sorrow, anguish, and misery.

Tinubu is a hero of our present democracy whether you like it or not. He was the only one who dared to challenge the threat Obasanjo posed to our democracy as regards the rights and independence of state government with respect to the federal government.

Yes they shamelessly made themselves the yardstick for clannish support over objective reasoning. Every Nigerian knows that already, and they continue to reinforce the low opinion the rest have about their objectivity.

Using them is very apt in this discussion.

Of all who have been fingered in the Dasuki loot, only Olisa Metuh had the priviledge of having his clansmen defend him with fanfare with banners declaring "leave our brother alone".

I am Yoruba, so the OP should look for supporters for his clannish argument in the location were people have surplus of such character.

Then it took the government another 3weeks to publicly accept the kidnap occurred, only after the sane world wondered what manner of moro.n was president in Nigeria.

PLEASE- let's make it clear Bukola Saraki has no other NIgerian blood in his veins but YORUBA blood. His Grand father was 100% from Ogun state, his father is from Ogun state and was not born in Kwara- and though we may not 100% accurately be able to confirm who is mum is, there is no credible theory that she was Hausa/Fulani. His wife is YORUBA, his children are YORUBA.

The only thing we can say for certain is that he clearly did not grow up with the VALUES we YORUBA are known for, as he as always been fraudulent despite being born with a silver (or should I say Golden ) spoon and more importantly masks his heritage..... which is abhorrent and unthinkable to any true son of Oduduwa. TBF his father was the one who started the madness and the result is the Bukola we have in front of us.

Anyway as the English say "some mother's have them" and our ethnic group is no different.
Bukola Saraki claims his grandfather was an immigrant from Mali who settled in Ilorin as an Islamic scholar. If we are to tag along with that story line, then the only thing that makes Bukola a Nigerian is his Yoruba blood.

That same Malian immigrant married a Yoruba woman that bore his father Olusola Saraki, who also married Yoruba women that bore Bukola and Gbemisola and their other half siblings. Bukola too married Tosin Ojora the daughter of Lagos royalty Adekunle Ojora.

The Sarakis ensure to always marry Yorubas but claim they are Malian Fulani settled in Ilorin. Going by the narrative of the Sarakis, Bukola Saraki is 7/8 Yoruba Nigerian and 1/8 Fulani Malian.

However, not a few doubt the Fulani Malian immigrant story.

Because Nigeria needed a patriot at this defining moment.

We had tried a prison inmate who suddenly forgot about his sufferings. We also tried a PHD holder who grew up as a boy without shoes, but decided the poor should never have shoes while he frolicked with the cabal to acquire everything in sight.

So we looked back in nostalgia to remember a man who did not deny his rustic and ordinary upbringing despite holding sway in the most profitable positions in the army and nation.

You are a patriot who was deposed by the same people who facilitated your assumption to power after they executed their coup. Your only crime was that you were too enthusiastic about fighting corruption - a situation that would have prevented those military boys from having their hilltop mansions and having their kids play polo and also show off the latest fastest cars that Nigerian dilapidated roads wouldn't favour.

Even your political opponents campaigned inadvertently on your behalf. Instead of telling us what they had achieved as a government in the last 5years or as a ruling party in the last 16years, they rather promised that not until given the next term before we begin to see any service delivery from them.
They even derided your attempts to fight corruption and instil discipline in your military regime, thereby reminding us of their own celebration of corruption and determination not to change for the better if afforded another 4year term.

You came at the right time. Your's is the commission of a patriot, many will remember you for your selfless service, and you have over 3years to even do more to immortalize your legacy.

The greatest lesson from the Jonathan episode is that political aspirants should stop opting for moro.ns as their running mates in a bid to avoid clash of competing ambitions. Such moro.ns can end up succeeding their principals via the route of political succession.

If the above had been practised, the highest post Jonathan would have held is the post of father to his children.
Except the state took the welfare of the children into consideration and retrieved them from a mentally handicapped father who would only end up breeding community thieves.

Jonathan was born ready for the looting.

The only seating president in the world who claimed he set out to campaign for re-election, but ended up campaigning that thieves ought not be arrested and convicted and jailed for their crimes by a responsible government.

The future generations will sure hear about the man some in the criminal underworld know as Don Fortunato.

Many will argue that his impoverished childhood imbued him with a penchant for theft in a bid to avoid a return to his gloomy past, but all will come to the conclusion that he was the purest personification of daftness.

stop trying to be clever by half, did abacha siphon trillions of naira accrued from crude oil? Yes.Was buhari the petroleum minister then? Yes...how convenient of him to be "diplomatic" when it came to Abacha's loot...could it be because it will also smear his saintly facade as the then petroleum minister?
I repeat that the questions were asked by reporters at an Abacha memorial event. He gave a diplomatic but factual answer. Cry over that if you like.

I was replying your post so you should already know I meant Abacha since that was your subject of discussion, and not the IBB I wrongly typed who is the subject of this thread.

Buhari was minister of petroleum under Abacha? Tell me tory.

Buhari was accosted by reporters at an Abacha memorial event, and asked about Abacha looting the treasury. Buhari simply gave a diplomatic yet factual answer that Abacha was never convicted for any such theft.

A very apt answer considering he was a private citizen who was present at that very event on the invitation by the Abacha family.
