Kanu was a misguided fighter who was determined to fuel tribal hate as a means to achieve a goal that is not totally illegal. The means he employed now serve to damn him. His crimes require little proof to get a conviction. He also criminally entered into the country without his Nigerian nor British passport. Those who wish him well had better begin high level political and diplomatic negotiations to get him a pardon after conviction. His candle has been burnt out by the winds. Whatever man remains of him can still be a non-adulterous husband to his wife and father to his children. |
I see a president with will. Infact, the enemies of the nation have also seen this, and have written their will. |
superstar1:Actually, the mutineers were in jail too, receiving their military benefits while awaiting Ironsi's decisiveness. Ironsi was uncertain in many regards as he got to power unbidden. What he was uncertain about was the need to have a strong central government - something he received applause from the same people now crying for freedom. |
Toybad:Good that the cancer was detected, now pending eradication. |
Because his hate begets equal hate. |
Metuh the confessant. After prison, he may go and sin no more. |
gtrust:There is a reason why you have remained daft for so long. It is not a spiritual problem, it is because your hate has become pathological and hinders your mind's development. The documents also showed that the retired General “uses a number of cars, two of which he bought from his savings and the others supplied to him by the federal government in his capacity as former Head of State . The rest were donated to him by well-wishers after his jeep was damaged in a Boko Haram bomb attack on his convoy in July 2014.Do I need to buy you reading glasses also, or you'll need a new brain to add to that? |
drake22:So the pictures of the son of the former FCT minister from the North who was showing off cars and bundles of money, or that of Yar Adua's teenage son, was also because of their tribe? For using this worn-out line of tribal defence, you have no shame. |
How does rape equate to human life? That's why lawmaking is not for kids. |
Demdem:An upright man is hard to find in Nigeria. Many feel insulted that a certain Buhari claims to be that man that they are not. |
Looking for a patriot? Look for President Muhammad Buhari. |
Hearty Congratulations! A true Nigerian Patriot. |
muzzol:I guess candy whatever has saved enough money to pay for libel damages. See what unchecked hate can cause. What makes me puzzled is the way she's gloating about it like she's uncovered an impeachable offence. |
Is sickle cell anaemia a terminal sickness or a diseased condition from birth? Was Buhari even in the UK on the said date? Some people just abuse the internet, forgetting that they can still be sued for libel. And if true, I guess the hospital has just registered itself as a worthless care provider, ready to close shop very soon. Look at the joy in the eyes and words of the wailer who believes she has exposed an impeachable offence. Some people take their hate to such heights that they continue digging for 8years of Buhari's regime while their life remains on standstill. See such rejoicing powered by hate. I'm really puzzled here. |
Metuh don piss for body finish just because of police siren. Abi na the video of NIMASA DG make am dey fear EFCC? http://saharareporters.com/2015/12/15/fear-arrest-grips-pdp-publicity-secretary-metuh-over-allegations-taking-n450m-jonathan |
Metuh go dey wish say Buhari slow down. From Baba Go Slow to Baba Slow down. Metuh has began to fear the consequences of his actions and has decided to speak up unbidden. Truly, whenever Buhari said he will fight corruption, Metuh must have died a million times. No wonder they keep advising the Buhari regime to leave the anticorruption fight and focus on other matters. One would wonder if all the ministries and agencies in Nigeria are focused on fighting corruption. As it is now, some would slump and die just hearing police siren outside their street. The wise ones had already taken off at the end of May, on what they termed "well deserved rest". |
Pidggin:And your defence for Obaigbena is what? Dokpesi has already convicted himself, there's no need to even waste words on a sure convict. He knew the source of the money is the NSA, and he has pleaded guilty by this admission. I'm so happy Buhari is not the type to be hindered. He is a moving train. |
uwa1:Buhari is a past president and has his entitlements. It is not for me to judge if he is a greedy and worthless politician like GEJ, but even that incompetent criminal has his entitlement too as a past president. Why did the office of the NSA use arms money to provide the entitlements of Buhari? What happened to the funds originally budgeted for such statutory functions? Or is the NSA just a weapons buying entity? Now that you've generously alerted all of us to this possible embezzlement of even statutory funds allocated to the NSA, such that it had to divert special funds for weapons to be able to meet even statutory responsibilities, then I hope the FG will increase the charges against Dasuki. Like the NIMASA boss, Dasuki must be picked up again on these new charges, immediately he gets a bail in court on the existing charges. Thanks for your contribution to fighting corruption. I'm sure even you know by now say Buhari no send anyone, he no dey tire. He will not fail you. |
Pidggin:Buhari has not denied collecting his privileges from the same government sources it has always been collected from. If Dasuki has spent arms money on providing security services that it should statutorily provide to an ex President, then you should even be encouraging the federal government to add another charge to Dasuki's list. Dasuki should tell us where he kept the statutory funds meant for those services that extend beyond a special need to spend unallocated funds on weapons. Now I ask you again, what is Dasuki's business with Obaigbena or Dokpesi. Is the NSA charged with a statutory responsibility for PDP's campaign or Obaigbena's uninsured facility? |
Pidggin:Same way Buhari has not complained about not getting his security entitlements from the FG. Or was Dasuki not a very high ranking security officer of the GEJ regime as NSA? I'm happy you even acknowledged that Buhari is not a greedy fellow, neither is he a dog in a manger who would hold on to priviledges not needed. So why are you so distressed that Buhari also got his entitlements? So you are pained that criminals are being prosecuted? They will forever be humiliated once convicted by the purposeful and willful Buhari regime. Where is your proof that Buhari collected any money from Dasuki? He has already acknowledged that he collected his entitlement when the government security office provided such. As for Santa Dasuki and his generous donations of arms monies to PDP, is the federal government responsible for the services procured with such funds? Is the federal government responsible for PDP campaign? Is the federal government not responsible for Buhari's security and vehicles as a past president? Is the fund for such suppose to come from the ministry of culture or education? Buhari is entitled to his privileges and is not concerned if an irresponsible NSA that may have already embezzled statutory funds, had to also dip his thieving hands into unallocated funds to execute statutory duties so as to cover his tracks. He will surely be probed and prosecuted for both offences. I trust Buhari on that. Is Dokpesi entitled to any privilege from the NSA? Is Nduka Obaigbena entitled to insurance payout from the ONSA? Look for another excuse to rejoice. This attempt has fallen flat. Continue to suffer in anguish, Buhari is not ruffled by irrelevances, nor will he be distracted from finishing off corruption. |
Pidggin:So if he spent funds for arms on vehicles, where is the money budgeted for the vehicles of ex presidents and other statutory functions of the ONSA? Thanks for opening another chapter to this already robust investigation. Buhari must probe what happened to the funds budgeted for the statutory functions of the ONSA. |
Pidggin:Whose office is responsible for the security of ex presidents? Is a bullet proof car not a security item? Is it only arms funds that the NSA's office supervises? When were the vehicles delivered to Buhari versus when were the funds for arms requested by the NSA? Corruption will die in Nigeria whether you like it or not. |
Montaque:What seems to be wrong with those valid questions with factual answers? |
Please help cure the ignorance. Ex Presidents are entitled to federal government procured vehicles. |
uwa1:Whether Dasuki or his assistanct, the vehicle and security comes together with the package. I hope you're not too daft to realise that vehicles are covered under security for such high profile citizens and officers. Was Dasuki not a government officer? Was his function not centered on security? Were the replaced vehicles not damaged as a result of security breach? What is Dasuki's role as a security personnel or his office as NSA to be given Dokpesi money for PDP campaign? Who is Nduka Obiagbena to be collecting money for his already insured private business, to be collecting money from the NSA of a country. Is Nduka a past president or top government official? Look into the mirror and tell yourself that you have failed. The fight to end corruption will not be hindered. |
Ama80:You sleep easynow. At least with my facts below you should rejoice that Buhari will not be hindered from continuing his clampdown on corruption - something I know you also want eradicated. Vehicles |
uwa1:Don't expose your ignorance. Vehicles |
There is no gainsaying that not many have been too happy with the clampdown on corruption by the Buhari regime. The Nigerian society by nature is structured to be sustained by corruption. A society where a big man uncle pays for the school fees of his nieces and nephews, or an aunty in the corridors of power ensures that her village kin are employed into juicy federal agencies and parastatals. Infact, anyone who finds himself in a position of power or authority is expected to abuse such office for the benefit of friend and family. Failure to provide such benefit to those who feel entitled to its rewards, result in a vast and potent character assassination of the office holder, as someone who does not care about his people / wants to chop alone and die alone / or too foolish to make himself useful to his community whose turn it is to benefit as other communities have in the past. The conclusion to my prologue is that the Nigerian society naturally thrives by corruption. Now to the main matter. It is not a new tale that the immediate past president of Nigeria, President Goodluck Jonathan, had campaigned in Enugu with the now infamous words: "How much did Jim Nwobodo stole that Buhari regime jailed him? Money not enough to buy a Peugeot. Is that good enough?" Nigerian Youths from the state Nwobodo pillaged to the tune of $5.1M answered, NO! It is therefore no surprise that since the Dasuki episode started, lots of Nigerians have been making excuses for the numerous accused personalities involved. Some have even said the government should provide jobs and build infrastructure instead of trying to recoup the funds that can accomplish their wishes. This is because if given the chance, most of these voices of absurd reasoning would have even done worse than the accused suspects, hence the camaraderie and esprit de corps. So when news filtered in that President Buhari was also a recipient of car gifts from the accused NSA, it was celebration galore for a lot of folks who for the first time in their corrupt lives truly felt threatened that corruption would cease as a way of life. Many who were silent while accusations with facts on the arms embezzlement were the trending topics on social media, have finally found their voice in hopes that the President would become hindered by his own involvement. These people are not a bit concerned about Dasuki or Dokpesi. Their major concern is that a way of life they have known and have thrived with does not become obscured by a President who is pretending not to be a fellow corrupt Nigerian - a situation they find appalling. Yet they are the first to close before end of official business to attend a weekday religious programme. Many have built houses with government sand and cement meant for housing contracts they supervised. Many have sent kids to high brow schools on the retirement benefits or allowances of ignorant subordinates who had to withdraw their kids even from cheap public schools. Many have wasted manhours just to collect a token sum for a job that is their statutory responsibility. However, their joy is to be short lived and their new found happiness would return to sorrow. They have read headlines and come to their hasty conclusions without facts. They have chosen to readily forget that the ONSA has its statutory functions apart from buying weapons, which I even understand the previous NSA usurped from the ministry of defence and our military forces. They have deliberately avoided asking themselves certain salient questions, so I now do so in their stead. Is it within the ambit of Dasuki's office to replace vehicles or provide security for past head of states? If it is, then why the mischievous uproar? Are such expenditures covered by the legal budget of the office of the NSA? If so, why the surprise? Did Dasuki at anytime claim it was monies budgeted for arms that he used to carry out the other statutory functions of his office? If he did, then Dasuki should be made to even account for how the actual funds budgeted for such statutory functions were expended, such that he has to misapply funds collected for special tasks on tasks that are statutorily binding on his office. Sai Buhari! Kindly continue the witch-hunting. Too many witches to be rid of in our society. Vehicles |

I hope those who thought it was Patrick Ubah's own Capital Oil and then concluded that it was a deliberate Northern attack against Ndigbo businesses, can now come out with shame to apologize? Even when Folawiyo and Sahara owned by Tonye Cole were also included in the report, some just had to make the story about their irritating tribal victim complex. See the clansmen below from the other thread. Ever ready to make any action by government an anti-igbo agenda. omoelesa: Old2020:One even tried to pretend that the other companies indicted (Sahara and Folawiyo) were non-entities. bpalace:Then somebody with a working brain had this to reply them. aperture11:Only God can heal the Igbo mindset. |
