Wizprodigy:But it is a fact of history that the SE have always longed for what belonged to others. Till today, they still hate the late Northern premier who discovered their trait, and the Western premier who showed Azikiwe the road to his fathers village so he could be premier there instead of his preferred Western region. |
asadike:Some people no matter how hard they resist, are genetically imbued with the talent of defending corruption. Chukwudi44 finally finds his wife. |
How much did Jonathan steal that you want Buhari regime to arrest him? Money not enough to buy Peugeot. Jonathan the hero. Don Fortunato of the PDP mafia. Truly, he did say that his regime made a lot of people millionaires and billionaires. Even his greatest critics now agree that he tried in that regard. |
coolitempa:They have become a shameless laughing stock in the committee of tribes. |
arresa:The ex president had told all who cared to listen that public officers looting government funds was ordinary stealing and not corruption. He followed up on this during the campaign when he wondered why a government should jail a man who stole $5m when the money cannot even buy a Peugeot that probably wasn't up to N10k then. You begin to see that Jonathan was a chief goat who wanted other goats to eat and be merry. It was their turn to eat, and they did it with distinction. |
onunwa21:How can I respect a criminal, an enemy of the state pretending to be its president? It only reminded me that we once had a useless human being in Aso Rock. He watched as all of these happened and also got to know the 16yr old brother of this Captain was being detained and tortured. What would a dunce president do? He did absolutely nothing in true fashion. When a certain foreign journalist enquired about the audio recording and why the government had not started prosecuting the matter, Jonathan said he cannot investigate what is not real. Can you imagine that? Not real? Yet the police minister had already admitted to it, Omisore had, and even Obanikoro's lawyer had also stated that his client only discussed security logistics in the recording, without any intention to rig votes. Yet a morally deficient president said it is not real, days after many had already admitted they were the very ones talking in the recording. Jonathan was a unique type of idio.t. |
Alhaji Jalo must now be thanking his parents who ensured they did not raise a thief. He has managed to avoid being implicated in the embezzlement of state funds. As for people like Nwobodo whose name continue to resonate in the corridors of corruption, I salute his father and mother too. They raised a hard working thief. From $5m that cannot buy Peugeot as civilian governor from 1979 - 1983, to National Stadium generator that was relocated to his village in the mid 1990's, to Dasuki money, JimJim continues to wax strong and make his parents proud. As for Olu Falae who continues to setup irrelevant political parties who never have their own candidates, but hope to get crumbs from the ruling party, he has finally met an ignoble end. Next time he will sit his ass down in his farm and leave politics for parties that actually have candidates that contest elections. |
CR77:I actually read the story. |
BlackPeni5:Your argument is not totally wrong except that even you agree the last holder of the car actually paid money for it without knowing it was stolen. He has no business with you, and the car had nothing to suggest that it is a stolen car because the seller is a reputable car dealership. Now you show up and prove it is your car. What happens to the money he paid for the car? Can he be prosecuted for buying a car from a registered car dealership? What happens to the "support" Falae's party gave PDP in the SouthWest? Can he be prosecuted for collecting money from a known PDP chieftain who never said the money was embezzled arms funds? If he returns the car to you, who returns his money? If Falae returns the money, can the support already given be undone? The matter falls back to the car dealer who chose to sell the last holder a stolen car instead of the other cars in his showroom. He must give the last car holder another car for money paid, before that one returns the stolen car for onward delivery to you. Anenih must find another money of equal amount to give to Falae's SDP for support duly rendered as per inter party agreement, before Falae can return the blood money his party was initially given, for onward return to the government purse. Falae knows that he has no case to answer. Infact, all who got monies from PDP party chieftains have no case to answer. Let the chieftains like Anenih and Dokpesi source for the funds because they got theirs directly from Dasuki, knowing fully well that Dasuki is not PDP's treasurer or presidential campaign chairman. |
Jonathan was really an irresponsible president. He was too stu.pid to know what was right or wrong. He was morally deficient. |
CircleOfWilis:People like you just hate to hear about the fight against corruption. Why? Why shouldn't he be a saint, but more importantly, who is stopping you from being a saint too? Must everyone be a criminal in Nigeria for you to be happy that you're not the only black sheep? Your mindset is the very mindset of Jonathan who would ask why Buhari sent someone to jail for stealing money not enough to buy Peugeot. When you remember that he said stealing is not corruption, you begin to see the extent of the moral decadence. If you happen to be an employee, I am certain that you are stealing from your employers. |
Ganoderma:QED! |
seunmsg:Indeed! One would wonder why the opinion of Ohaneze in the SouthEast is of any concern to a Yoruba governor in the SouthWest. |
maasoap:While I support your argument, I also believe all those who got the money directly from Dasuki to carry out tasks that had nothing to do with defence should not be let go even after returning the money. These category of people are very complicit in the embezzlement of state funds. |
TonyeBarcanista:QED! |
Mjshexy:Some do not actually know that such funds came from the state coffers. They only got the funds from PDP campaign seniors, so they expected the funds to have come from donors. However, anyone who got the funds directly from Dasuki should be prosecuted for being complicit in the embezzlement. |
Buhari has long asserted that all he wants is to have stolen monies returned. The wise ones had even returned such slush funds before they were discovered. The greedy ones continued to hope that theirs will not be discovered. Let Metuh return his own share and then complain if he his not released. As for Santa Dasuki who coordinated the pilfering of the commonwealth, and his corrupt principal Jonathan, only imprisonment will be the most merciful consideration for them. |
ojnnaco:I reckon your argument why a leader must be corrupt and irresponsible is so as to prevent arresting and prosecuting his own family too? Isn't that what the rule of law is all about. Or you expect that Buhari's family to be sacred cows? Why are you crying when there's no bereavement? The hunter will hunt all animals even if his family are also found in the forest. |
Jobneeded12:Then they ask why are the Igbos hated? Imagine a party they are just giving thought to joining, yet domination is already on the agenda. Their empty arrogance is rather irritating. |
It is unfortunate that Emeagwali lied about so many things. I understand his profile has been edited by many in the academia and in ICT to reflect his true contributions, not the bogus claims or the overhyped Gordon Bell prize that we hear about only when it concerns Emeagwali. Many called him Doctor, even Ovation magazine once referred to him as Professor, but he is just a Mr. The popular claims that he has 41 patents was due to his application for them, but was rejected because his claims were discoveries and not inventions. Then the Gordon Bell price which he lay claims to was jointly won in 1989 by a team of 9 researchers of which he was a member. Besides, the prize was for supercomputing and not for the more general Computing which is the more prestigious Alan Turing prize. As for his claims to "Father of the Internet", that's another bogus achievement with a long tale. OP, let sleeping dogs lie. |
ultimateballer:You want to replicate 90%+ voter turn out like in 2011? Do you have an idea what that same 90%+ voter turn out will be in Kano state? It will nullify the total votes in 3 SE states. |
Onijagidijagan:Are you just knowing the people you're dealing with? They are never comfortable playing 2nd fiddle to anyone. They want to be in charge, but only end up bruising their nose in the scuffle. |
ultimateballer:Hmmm! Yet APC defeated the ruling party without any significant Igbo support. Empty Arrogance! |
Hahaha! Many have opined here that the Igbos cannot survive in the opposition. Nwobodo has shown the way, now foot soldiers are canvassing. Whatever happened to the PDP NorthEast-SouthEast ticket of 2019? I enjoy the poetic justice in the fact that the Amala/Awolowo/Almajiri/Janja-weed party has now become a succour to our Eastern compatriots who peddled that very propaganda. Together we will all islamize Nigeria, right? |
iamkeyz:DSS, this is another terrorist that should be languishing in a cage. Pick him up and prosecute him and his gang. |
kutchs:Below is the content of your link. Does it differ with what I said about their assets having been declared with the CCB when they resumed their position as stipulated by law? Or has the CCB reported that any minister refused to tender their completed asset declaration form? Does the law say they must notify you or me when this mandatory declaration has been done? He said, “All those that were governors, ministers, permanent secretaries, head of foreign staff and all those with political appointments will have to declare their assets on the assumption of their appointment and definitely with the courts. And once they leave they have to re-declare their assets.” |
I don't recall they made a campaign promise to anyone to declare their assets publicly. Their assets had already been duly declared as part of their assumption of office. The law has been fulfilled. If they err in any regards, the records are with the CCB whose CCT will try the case, not the listening public. Where there is no promise, there is no debt. |
If he becomes president, which I doubt, I hope he helps to deport all our past political office holders having a "deserved rest" in the USA. |
Allosaurus:I only debate with facts. I barely abuse except it is a retort to one. Also if I present facts that you do not refute, but insist on your same argument without facts, then I simply walk away upon realising I'm trying to educate a retard. |
Demdem2:Dasuki and Dokpesi are saints compared to the potential that some youths have in corruption. When a young employee of 2yrs is already having properties that his 20yrs income cannot afford. Now imagine such a criminal holding a sensitive post in a revenue generating agency. |
Indeed! Corruption knows no tribe or religion, but its defence seems to have found a fertile host in some. |
