Look before you leap. But, greater love has no man than for him to lay down his life for his friends. May his soul rest in peace. |
Calculia:Suddenly Buhari is no longer hated for killing Biafrans as a gallant officer during the war? You see what hate does to a tribe? It leaves them without direction. Indeed Buhari has a high moral standard and was a disciplined soldier even during the war. That's another propaganda now inadvertently revealed to be a lie. Please keep talking. Lets see what more fable becomes refuted. It seems too much hate not properly channelled can even make a man confess his false beliefs on another matter without much probing. |
aguiyi:What exactly is your purpose? |
tomakint:"I know my people, it wasn't MEND." -Goodluck Jonathan, Oct 2010. "MEND tried to assassinate me, the secret service knew of it so they quickly drove me out of Eagle square (on 1st October, 2010)" -Goodluck Jonathan, 2015. "Vote PDP because PDP is an Ijaw party." -Goodluck Jonathan, 2015. |
"How much did Jim Nwobodo stole that Buhari regime jailed him?" -Goodluck Jonathan, 2015. “Over 70% of what are called corruption (cases), even by EFCC (Economic and Financial Crimes Commission) and other anti-corruption agencies, is not corruption, but common stealing.” -Goodluck Jonathan, May 2014. Someone who cares about the fight against corruption should please answer the above question posed by the dunce, as a birthday gift. |
Stolen:A slowpoke from the East was quick to put it up here to achieve a goal. A goal which did not include an intention to declare Igbos as skilled in the art of convincing themselves that a lie told overtime is truth. If the article says Awolowo's passport was seized by Buhari, which is true, the same article educates the misinformed Igbo youth that Awolowo died as a result of depreciating health. A truth that is only false in the minds well cultured by hateful propaganda. Unfortunately for the OP, he forgot the long bandied lie propagated to make Igbo children sleep better at night. Now Chinedu will read this and ask his father why the East is full of liars and why he has always rejoiced over an enviable death even he would wish for. |
No more rat poison death? In a brief moment to ensure North vs West acrimony, this unwise man from the East inadvertently revealed the very lie they have long peddled to be true. The Igbo intelligence has always been corroded by propaganda. Anyway, I am very pleased this corrosion remains as it is and passed on to another generation. It will surely keep them where their forebears limited themselves. |
Delusions of grandeur is what I can best term the Biafran struggle in its attempt to associate with some religious/Godly context. It failed in the 60's, it will not earn you any sympathies in this millennium. Focus on your struggle and leave religion out of it. |
What I found surprising with the uproar over the disclosure that a 1% charge will be made on all transactions, was that the very people who were quick to remind us that TSA was conceived by GEJ, were the loudest to protest the same rules of operation that their darling GEJ conceived. Now I enjoy the fact that they have protested first, so Buhari can go ahead to renegotiate the deal as his regime deem fit. Many are concluding that this is an unbiased article. This is not even about bias, this is about facts and truth. This is as truthful and straightforward an argument can be, and well supported with facts. |
Fayose accusing another of corruption? Is this the same Fayose who was impeached and who had a case against him in court when PDP handed him the governorship ticket? I fear for this mother of all hypocrisy. |
It is not in the interest of government to operate oil refineries. -Diezani Allison Madueke, Jan 2012. |
Indonesia must not buckle to the pressures from countries who have themselves been unable to rid their society of drug crimes. The death penalty must be sustained to ensure stubborn criminals are found another world where they can operate without ruining lives. |
The office of the American president has long been erroneously termed "most powerful". It is an office greatly limited by the political emotions of the American congress, and the fickleness of the myopic American electorate. Putin on the other hand is a 1man government. Let an American president make the same remarks credited to Putin, and watch how the opposition and it's vast rightwing or leftwing conspiracy aided by the media will seek to tear the president to shreds. Political correctness will never be demanded of a president who answers to no one. That is what Putin is. He can continue to bomb Syria for a year without eyebrows raised back in Russia. Can an American president try that with his people who love correctness more than common sense? Can the opposition in congress allow the other side such powers that can lead to victory and eventually catapult to electoral landslides? Never! Herein is revealed a mortal flaw of very active democracies. Too much time is spent arguing over a matter when decisive action is required to achieve best results. Putin can never fail in Syria no matter the outcome. Same can not be said about the US president. If it snowballs into a longterm war, the children of peace with their flowers would have taken over the streets protesting that the government is killing babies bla bla bla. It is time America watches as things unfold like a spectator with Russia leading. They can then decide if their internal political wrangling has been of any benefit to their foreign policy goals. |
The fumbling slowpoke is not missed. The aftermath of his lacklustre performance while in office will take a generation to overcome. He didn't take long to remind us why we had to urgently free Nigeria from his kindergarten intelligence. "PDP is an Ijaw party". Some mothers really do have 'em. |
Crying more than the bereaved is a clear sign of despair and hopelessness. It is also a crafty attempt to remedy the situation with cunning arrogance. In this case, the bereaved got back up having been knocked down. These ones on the other hand, have decided to roll on the floor, hoping their theatrics will project them ahead of the labourers who have worked and are ready to collect their just pay. |
OP, what do you have to say concerning the answer provided to the worries that trouble you? |
Olafeyeni: Ododo oro. |
Teryfik:Lol! Tony Umez must find him ooo. Someone said he is lost in the zoo. Hahahaha! |
zuchyblink:The sun is gone and the moon is out in the African part of the world. Guess why? So that Biafrans will not have sunlight. -From the Biafran school of thought. |
This is what the Igbos have reduced themselves to? What a shame! Victim mentality gone haywire. |
The man who did not run away. He did what was obvious to every sensible observer - when the war has been won and lost, the vanquished surrender unconditionally. |
saint047:He has experience as NNPC head and petroleum minister also. |
Common sense must always defeat political correctness. |
Wake me up when they consider the violence in the 3rd world as horrendous as to be troubled by it. |
Sanusi gave an estimate in a system that tries so hard to hide the truth. Ngozi Okonjo Iweala admitted that about $10B might be missing, and PWC did their audit and also stated the discrepancies they discovered while lamenting the lack of cooperation from the same system we know so well to be very crafty in hiding records. Diezani should get well soon and defend herself against valid allegations. Her associates like Aluko and the Ghanaian Kelvin Okyere should brace up for the storm also. Not even $1 must be left in the hands of this thieves. A very generous jail term is also deserving. |
Shehucom:Then her education is a terrible waste of government resources that should have been devoted to someone who would have been productive, not a house furniture whose intelligence would only be whispered to a gloved husband in their bed chamber. I don't doubt that he will perform, but I certainly know he will be hindered by his own self inflicted mental shackles. |
ADENIKETINA2015:He will wave to them with his gloved hand like Michael Jackson Shittu. |
Today, I will switch ON my TV as I always do, and watch cartoons and movies to try create an air of peace and happiness. So much strife, misery and violence in a religious world, that I ponder what sanity an irreligious society could have offered. All around me, an adulterous man has just polished his shoes and headed to church. A fraudulent employee has just filled his wallet with cash for offertory - funds embezzled from overstated receipts from the past week. The choir master has put on his best perfume in the hopes that Mary will return home with him this Sunday afternoon. The pastor has just perfected another strategy of improving the amount of revenue realised from his Sunday business, costs will certainly be borne by the Williams who just had a test tube baby the church has craftily termed a miracle. We will all wake up on Monday and return to our busy weekly activities, except that only I would have truly rested. |
adanny01:Your reasoning is obviously too complex for a religious fanatic to grasp. Indeed, why was she created with a face? Infact, that must be Shekau. |
Jarus:It is not much about what the wife wore to an event, but the social conditioning and perspective with which both wife and husband operate. A perspective that sees a woman as below a man. Something that must be hidden to allow a man to have a fulfilled religious life. The dude strikes me as someone who would rather die by covered female suicide bombers than allow women to have their identity in a society dealing with such peculiar security challenges. This man truly belongs in a cave, not an open progressive society. I had seen all manner of tales online about the appointee. People kicking against his nomination because of his religious twist. Now I can truly say such fears are valid. To think that some people call Buhari a fanatic. |
anataala:Yoruba did not hide themselves or obliterate the identity of their wive(s) before the advent of middle-east religions. Whether he is a minister or not is not my concern. My concern is that someone educated as a lawyer still sees a woman as a property to be kept way from a bastard like me. I believe in the social equality of all gender. I might have my reservations about physical/mechanical equality, but not the mental. The wife has her identity, she has a face that must be seen, noticed and regarded as a fellow human being, that must not be hidden because there is a property holder called man. All I see in the picture is a culture that is not Yoruba. |
