I believe the right to have a peaceful protest is still a constitutional right and not a privileged. The police should let them be unless they constitute a nuisance to others. But then, it's the Nigerian police farce. A force that has no understanding of constitution, talkless of human rights, remains a farce. |
Rising from a special meeting of Ohaneze Ndigbo at the palace of the Eze Ndigbo in Akure,How many palaces are in Akure? I Thought some said the Eze Ndigbo is just an Igbo association president? Some people never learn. How does a mere association president get to have a palace on another King's domain? I urge the indigenes to keep the Akure cane handy for future use. |
He maintained that Nigeria has continued the killing of Biafrans and that this has altogether emboldened Yorubas to brazenly commence the forced deportation of Igbos in their midst. A position no civilised society could possibly countenance. He did not spit fire when an Igbo governor Peter Obi had earlier forcefully relocated destitutes to their states of origin? I guess that was ordained by God? The good thing about incarceration is that it gives you the abundance of time to reminisce over your life. All the post war trauma without psychiatric counselling, that has made him a psychopath will be self healed by an honest examination of self in his lonesome situation. |
But this same attention seeking who.re posted a topic claiming Linda could have bought a true mansion with lots of lawn space and swimming pool with a lesser amount in the USA. Jonsing Cram, please get a real life. |
The Lagos factor has a lot to do with this. Also universities like Unilag, OAU and UI have trained most of Nigeria's ICT brains across all tribes. |
Bigmillz:If they are a sham now with investigations and arrests being made, what were they in the GEJ era when they couldn't even afford office stationery talkless of functioning? |
Waiting for Chukwudi44 to come shout witch-hunt. He alone stands as protector of the endangered specie called corruption. |
basilo101:The same shitty town that your people need to migrate to for greener pastures? What a cursed life. |
onenaira3:The economic refugee has already been flogged, there's no need to extend discipline to the entire tribe of refugees. The Igbos have no choice but to be nice on foreign soil. It is a culture the North had forcefully inculcated in them as an aftermath of their suicidal gloating over the assassination of the Northern premier. |
SeverusSnape:When did an economic refugee in Akure become king? Is he the king of Onitsha or Nnewi? King of which domain? You can see that your likes are trouble makers who should not be given an inch, else you'lld take a mile. It seems you need some strokes from the Akure traditional cane. |
Indeed! |
new2020:Maybe you should firstly explain why the Yorubas seem to be a major discussion topic by your director, then you will understand that you injected them into your problems. You certainly seem to only make comments with a verb an adjective and Yoruba, no matter how unrelated the topic is. So why are you surprised? |
kayvandutch:Did I claim ignorance of any forfeiture? Does your link also state that the monies in the account was from money laundering? That is the question you cannot answer. Does that surprise me? No! |
kayvandutch:You are the fool who thinks others are fools like you. You think the US is a banana republic where anything goes? Show us the facts that whatever money that was forfeited was from drug trafficking or scurry back to the rat hole you came from. I don't owe Tinubu any loyalty, but don't pull shit from arse and expect me to parrot it with you as chocolate. Facts or shutup. |
The self acclaimed Eze Ndigbo of Akure claimed he visited the Deji if Akure in company of his own chief(s). Is this chief someone invested with the title by a real Eze in Igboland, or was/were this chief(s) invested with the chieftaincy by this fake Eze parading himself in Akure? If the 2nd scenario is true, by what authority does a lone Igbo immigrant in Akure without a domain get to make another fellow refugee a chief on foreign soil? Is there anything left to be said in terms of how Yorubas have been asleep while the covetous Igbo has been scheming to become overlords in Yoruba land? They even complain about the lawful use of Yoruba language and Yoruba culture in our own Yoruba societies. Ahmadu Bello was the prophet who spilled the Igbo beans. As for those mentioning Sarkin Fulani and whatnot, I don't recall that any Northern ruler with a domain in the North is addressed as Sarkin. Neither do I recall that the Sarkins on foreign land are clad as Emirs or also appoint their own chiefs or give titles on foreign land. Let the flogging be repeated, till covetousness is eradicated. |
kayvandutch:No where in court records did anyone claim any money to be forfeited was from drug trafficking. You stop being lazy and re-read the very popular court records we are all aware of. And stop making claims in your head without facts, so you won't end up having a libel suit slammed against your empty head a la AIT. Present your facts and stop with the suppositions. |
kayvandutch:Did any record of forfeiture claim the money was from drug trafficking? Please I want to see such records from the US linking Tinubu with any drugs business. I want facts not beer parlour assumptions. |
ExInferis:Chukwudi44 has been campaigning for their innocence even without the Northerners asking him to. He calls it witch-hunting, so the EFCC has decided to focus on the South. |
"I don't want to go to jail, my children are still young". - Godswill Akpabio, 2014. |
chuna1985:We don't need the senate to clear anyone. Her case is in the British court, when she's done there she will also report to the Nigerian courts. If found blameless, I'll hold my peace. |
hinwazaka:He has already been flogged, that's enough discipline for an adult. He has learnt his lesson. He will surely teach his children how not to be arrogant. |
What a lesson. Abati is yet to tell us about his own impression concerning the GEJ administration he served in. In the fullness of time, even Diezani will confess in court that a clueless boss is the best for a thieving employee. Imagine that "America will know" episode regarding the missing $20B. Diezani and Okonjo-Iweala must have laughed themselves to delirium, wondering how unfortunate Nigeria is to be saddled with a gullible dunce. A kindergarten president indeed. As for Clark, Jonathan was not lacking in the political will to fight corruption. He was busy at his Aso villa laboratory, inventing the long anticipated technology to fight global corruption. Clown! |
rusher14:This is the question I keep asking. What are the technical specifications of the contract. Only then can we condemn or commend. |
chukwudi44:I am not surprised by your comparisons. You are ever ready to defend corruption wherever you hear it has occurred. Go to the British embassy and protest that the billions of dollars Diezani and her associates are being investigated for was for legitimate government business done. |
Misleading headline. The words of the aide, not the governor's. Imagine this kind of aide becoming a governor in future? Many forget that they hold political power for public service. You are no king, but a public servant answerable to the electorate. |
nd07:Like the esteemed drug dealing Eze ndigbo in Australia? pulse.ng/gist/everywhere-we-go-nigerian-crime-kingpin-jailed-in-australia-id3723803.html |
I can always vouch for the arrogance of an Igbo. |
homesteady:I am not defending it, I am only rejecting the comparisons being made to a clear cut criminal case like Oduah's, where we have all the details of that deal to conclude she's a criminal. I'm not necessarily a Fashola fan. I did not even vote for him for his 1st term, but voted him for the 2nd term. I also decried his pacifist posture concerning the TB Joshua church collapse, as opposed to his Rambo posturing when buildings owned by regular people collapse. I guess we should now compel the very people who made this documented expenditure public for sensationalism, to also provide all the details for concise analysis before we hit the gavel. |
OnReflection:The guy is a revisionist. His hobby is to be celebrating criminals. |
lolaxavier:Hers was never even captured in the records. Investigations revealed the cars were never seen after they were delivered. Even the house committee only saw just one, but it was not with the same chassis information as the 2 procured. It was a clear case of a greedy fellow trying to use public funds not budgeted, and even borrowed (to be paid back with interest), to cater for a vain lifestyle. How come the already delivered cars were never found? |
chukwudi44:What do you have to say about the Oduah case since you brought it up? Mr defender of every person accused of corruption. |
lolaxavier:That's why I have said the contract details for the website be made available so we can analyse its contents for a proper critique. I have seen a website designed for N10m in this same Nigeria. Unfortunately I cannot reveal the client. So someone saying an average website is N200K must be referring to a 10kobo company's website. What are the contract details for that website? Then trying to compare it to a criminal who denied, then admitted, then the cars were never found, and Coscharis who procured the cars even lied that it was the Lagos State government that was buying them for the national sports festival, so as to defraud the nation by way of an undue import waiver. Both cases are not to be compared at all. |

... Rubbish!, I shall put on my crown of gold, and the Oba will do nothing!
