Just gracing page 300. Daz all |
ysteph:Una nor go kill me for this thread. ![]() |
GlitteringStar:And this right here is why people like this lady. Way too selfless. Good morning y'all |
Number of people committing suicide these days is just horrible. Just remembered Chester Bennington the other day... |
Threemg:Terrible experience. Till date as I type, I'm yet to receive what was posted to Nigeria since late last year. I eventually had to pay extra to have a new one sent to an address in the UK. ![]() Maybe cos I didn't do courier in my case @fadia, why not just Google ![]() |
gogedda:The way you typed here, if you spoke to me that way with conviction and more documentation to prove your case, I will believe you. Alas I'm not a visa worker in Accra but God will go before you. Don't be scared, get all your documents in tow. The employment letter especially and anything else you can lay your hands on. Be prepared to answer questions about the job itself and your past role. If any other issue was flagged, be prepared to defend your application. Be very confident too while you speak. No fidgeting or avoiding eye contact. Prayerfully prepare for your interview. They are mere men after all. The truth will set you free. Then come back and testify here with your PPR... Good luck |
koonlay5:Congrats. Cool ppr news before man pikin snooze |
Gracemama:Just google ''black migrant girl blog'' its not letting me post the link here. dunno y |
Opotuniti:Congrats sir. Big congrats. London for others is not London for you. Every man dey run him race. This is to encourage others as well. In other news na so yesterday come go?
|
joksydamsel:Congrats on your result. It is very good.[s] Has your wife done IELTS? Did she evaluate her educational qualification/qualifications? Have you guys explored what she can contribute to your overall score? Stimulate your intended ielts score using the CRS tool and see how far that would take you. Then do the same for your spouse if she does WES or IELTS and therein lies your answer. Also consider the time both actions would take. [/s] Noticed your response that your wife has done ielts and all. Can she retake it and hopefully score just as good as you. She could actually be the principal applicant. How many years of work experience does she have. Just sha stimulate CRS scores in her case and consider that. Good luck with whatever decision you make. |
Madcow:Congrats bro. PPR news we like. Ielts candidates, good luck Ita grabbers good luck Its a packed day @jojcanada, thank you for the e book. I don download am. PS: the person who recommended the blog -black migrant girl diary-thanks. She is a good writer. For HR professionals planning to migrate, you may learn a thing or two from her... |
Ronards:Big big congratulations. The timeline is amazing. @Luce, i evaluated with WES. I don't recall any stage like "we are authenticating your report" stage. My report came on the day they said it would be complete and only then did i jump into the pool. Some people are lucky to have theirs come out a day (this is what most people say) before the due date. I've not heard of reports coming out 2/3 days before due date but it is not impossible. But more than anything else, I would say be patient. It is better to wait another week or so until your turn comes than than to jump in with a wrong reference or a forged one. |
joesgirl:Interested too if there is one |
ottawaboi:Amazing tale. Big congratulations are in order. Your can do attitude is a testimony in itself |
dumprep:I wanted to respond to this on the day you posted your question but i got carried away. In my case, I had 2 important documents done in black and white. One of them stressed the living day light out of me with countless back and forth emails and endless calls. By the time I got it, I was too grateful to even argue that I would have preferred it in coloured. I just collected it with thanksgiving in my heart. Unless someone decides to print in coloured for you, there is not much you can do. You cannot do much about someone not having an official email or website for their business neither can you do much about someone who doesn't have a business card. Unless you want to print out business cards for him or open website for him. ![]() The key here is to present a convincing case. How do you convince someone you worked in a hospital which was located in a village? Please look at the links below for more ideas on how to present an iron clad case where an employment reference letter is not as CIC has specified. Tie it all up with an LOE and i'm sure you'll be fine. https://www.nairaland.com/3999848/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/129#60331417 See also https://www.nairaland.com/4212543/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/331#65297739 Credit to Nozzle, GlitteringStar and Boss13 |
deesmama:I don't get it oh. WES categorically made provision for sending transcript yourself as long its in an envelope and its sealed with a stamp across. @olufemi2211 please go and read WES FAQ for confirmation. You are not doing anything shady by sending both documents in say a DHL envelope. Just dont open the transcript envelope please. Make a copy of your certicate abi statement of result and slot in the DHL envelope. Write your WES reference number clearly on the envelope or in a plain paper inside. If you like, you can still fax the same certificate to WES as desmama has pointed out. It will be received before your DHL arrives sef. Congrats ppr18. Speedy timeline |
chizilulu:Congrats. What a speedy application. Thank you for the hint on spam mails. Another important thing you touched on was the need to study documents before collecting them. Post ITA guys please pay attention to medical print out, Nigerian PCC and other documents. Names and passport number on these documents - I can't shout. They had to redo ours due to errors. Good thing they always reminded one to check properly before leaving the premises. So don't be too much in a hurry. Check well |
flosk:Only him can answer that question with total conviction. Other things to consider? Who did he write with? BC or MOD? The timeframe of 12 weeks versus a week or so of remark comes in here. Cost implications etc Who is the principal applicant? His score is actually fair for an accompanying spouse. All this should help you decide. Please take it easy. Anger will only bring about tension. All the best |
grammy010:Wow! Congrats on such a fantastic CRS score. Your perseverance paid off. Start tidying/gathering your documents. ITA is sure at the next round. |
QSola:Good morning. I think you need to go page 0 and click the all about gift deed link. Truth is that there is no hard and fast rule to it. Even that link itself didn't preach one method fits all for everyone. You just have to read up on what various folks did and make peace with how you want to do yours. In my case, I took a sample gift deed from this same nairaland. Both parties signed, witness signed and I went to notarize at the high court. FULLSTOP! I didn't include statements or anything. Maybe someone who used deed gift and has ppr can join mouth too |
ArabianRose:Chin up Rose and expect the best from your remark. PS: What's with the 6.5 with MOD IDP writing? @teecann, another reason to be thankful for not locking up your last BC score via EOR route but choosing to see if CRS scores drop. Good decision you made. I'm forced to believe someting is going on with the way Nigerian ielts results are marked. How can one explain very decent results across bands with writing being pegged at 6.5? It is just annoying |
TEECANN:Nawa oh! Teecan don do list for May people sharp sharp. I dey jealous this group oh! Who wan do for our April people nah? LOL. Enjoy guys. I know the feeling |
So much joy in this thread today. Its contagious |
ken2sure:Congrats oh! Congrats to our ITA recipients. I rejoice with you all... @TEECANN, I particularly rejoice with you today...
|
safex:They have gone through the journey, seen it all, done it and living their lives in their new environment. What is there to keep talking about other than answering the little questions they get every now and then? That thread is amazing in itself. If one starts reading from page 0, bookmarking or taking notes, that person would have done themselves a lot of good. I'm talking pre ITA and most importantly post ITA folks who have submitted. Its far better to start now than waiting till you clench PPA before running around. Hv a good day yall |
DboyizGood:I wish this can be put on page 0 so we can just be directing people straight there. ACCA F1-F3 questions can be too much sometimes |
Bonvieto:You may want to explore this option before declining https://www.nairaland.com/3999848/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/129#60331417 See also https://www.nairaland.com/4212543/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/331#65297739 For more ideas on employers who refuse to give CIC required letter. No hard and fast rule. Presentation of convincing fact is key. Do you hv written proof of employer refusing your request, please tender it as well. Good luck |
Newmum0615:Thank you for coming through with the answer sharp sharp. |
gretop:I know someone at Alagbon Lagos. PM me for details. I don't wish to leave the contact in the open. |
Hello. A quick question for people post ITA When uploading digital passport unto the place card provided, does one need to scan and upload the stamp at the back or just the passport photo itself. I'm a bit confused. Or do i just merge the front and the stamped back and scan together in JPEG format? |
