Thinking he wanted to negotiate a ransom, they responded to the Bishop who then confirmed if they knew who they were speaking with.
The kidnappers replied in the affirmative. It was then Bishop Oyedepo lambasted them on the phone, saying “I curse you in the name of Jesus and anyone who pays ransom to you is cursed.”
Reports said hours after the Bishop blasted the kidnappers, they released Pastor Adekunle and fled during an attack carried out by the military and police with the use of helicopter and ground troops. Oyedepo does not joke - full stop! |

Phema: Well, it has happened to someone i know. Mama went for omugwo and was having an affair with her SIL. She walked in on them and all hell was let loose. Turns out they had been getting it on for a long time. Long story short; she eventually fled the country with her children and said she won't step foot in Naija till her mum dies. It's been about 10years now and we haven't seen her. SIL died few months later but mama is still very much alive. Very miserable though, as her hubby and children practically abandoned her.
OP please tell your friend to nip this in the bud. Na from clap them dey enter dance Why won't he die? Sometimes people like this die from more of a guilty conscience. Reminds me of people I KNOW. The girl (in her 20's) went for holidays in a relations house and began to sleep with another distant relation in the house. Not sure how closely related they were but somehow somehow they were. The girl got pregnant. The young man was persuaded to do the decent thing. They were given a 1000 reasons why it was okay and that even cousins marry bla bla bla. They did. This people suffered as they were without jobs and this marriage idea was sold and pushed on them. Dude didn't live long. Some say he died from a guilty conscience, fear and what not. Girl has carried her baby and relocated to another state. @op why is your door not locked while you are in the bathroom? Be strict with MIL and if she still does not get I, tell her off! Don't kill yourself for nothing. All food nor be food. |

Bros, I am on the same side with you. If I come out and say AS boy don't marry your AS girl friend, people will come and start quoting me to say why they are the exception to the rule and they have been married for donkey years. This thing called love is a funny thing. All I'm trying to say is let people be wise in all their decision. One love everyone. |

sunnydayasaba: Reading this stories reminds me of my pain, I lost a niece last 2 years that was just her first crisis at age 3,, Yesterday i also lost a cousin, a very close one at that to same major crisis. He collapsed playing football, he was in his final year at d university. I still have another small niece still a carrier, each time i look her in d face. I jst remember her late sister, she's 5 now and we make sure she take her drugs and watch her closely.
Now my elder bros wife is pregnant again, but where determine to do a foestus test to determine the child's Genotype before she puts to bed, if we found out d child is going to be a carrier, she will have to abort it. We cant take it anymore, it really hurt watching them go through pains during their crisis time.
Grt love to all Warriors, God will continue to strengthen you all. You see this is something I don't get. This condition is preventable so when I hear of a single family having 2 or 3 SS kids, I am perplexed. I know some in the rural areas, poor, uneducated or those educated ones that simply didn't know in time past can be excused. What I don't get is educated people who NOW know these things but choose to continue the cycle. What is the excuse in this day and age to knowingly do such? Its not even like we have the NHS in Nigeria. I'm not saying AS/AS or SS/AS should not marry or so - who am I to stand in the path of love? But such people must have a health plan in place and follow it. I always advise friends to know their genotype before marriage. If you know the risk but still choose to go ahead, then have a health plan, know your options, discuss with doctors and people who can assist then do your thing. I have a friend who knew he was AS. He married a fellow AS and they lied to their family and church about it. They want to do this fertility treatment now but you don't want to know the side talk (esp the poor lady) they are getting over 3 years after marriage. Those 'concerned' family members have no clue what this couple are going through or what they are putting in place! Its not easy but these are things people need to consider. |

Dapo777: So that they won't be chipping in God in our every conversation, its just annoying when I ask someone a simple question(how is school?) and he/she says "we thank God". Is that how to answer a question?
Or I ask them how do they make themselves study without relenting they will say " its all about God, that nits not their power". What rubbish, of what use are those nonsense replies to me, they now use God to cover up lots of information, just say its God and u don't have to say anything else, that's their style now. Very simple. It appears you still depend on your parents for financial help so you have to stay in line. For now, you don't have to say anything you don't want to say. SIMPLE! Here are some examples: You: how was your night? Friend: I thank God but for his mercies I would not see this day. You: okay End of discussion. Mum: no church today? You: no Mum: why? This is the second time this month. You: I will endeavor to be there next Sunday. End of discussion. You: guy, how you take solve that matter? Friend: if not for baba God I for don die. I beg follow me thank God. You: hmnnnn okay. Friend: I dey do thanksgiving for church sef. You go join me oh! You: I'll see what I can do. Friend: thanks bro. You: no wahala but I nor promise you sha. Let me see how that day will be. Friend: you sef nor like church? Guy, you be atheist? You: and if I were would that be a problem? Anyway I don't want to talk about that for now. End of discussion. Protect yourself and don't allow people in until you're ready. If the so called friends are really friends they will remain and continue to respect you regardless of your religious belief. I would also respect an atheist if he were a friend. I have a muslim and a witness as very good friends. We respect ourselves and have healthy discussions. They could never convince me and I could not change them too. |

ChappyChase: I beg to disagree with the guy that someone is molesting the kid, to me I I just think that kids of nowadays are becoming too corrupt at an early age!(Abeg make una wait make I explain). I went to kano to visit my uncle, he has 4 daughters and the least was 3years 8month when I visited.. One sunday afternoon, I was sitting in my room my two hands on my chin and leaning forward with my eyes due to hunger(sunday rice never don). Suddenly I felt a soft lips on my lips out of shock I opened my eyes and low and behold, this small baby(my uncles last born) was standing in front of me with a wild smile attempting to kiss me again! Out of anger I slapped her so hard that my finger print showed on her chick(it was not intentional).. When the mum asked me why I slaped her daughter and I explained, she never believed me rather she started suspecting me and asked her two older daughter to stay away from me! Oh for God sake get over yourself. Apparently the parents kiss her lips or something. So cos she kissed your lips she wants to make out with you? She is a child for God sake. At that stage, you should have said a firm ''NO'' or ''DON'T DO THAT!'' that should be enough to pass the message. You didnt have to slap her. Maybe na the hunger dey worry you sha. Then going to tell her mum - dude that was sooooooooooooooooooooo lame. |

abbey621: Look at the bold wordings, if you were to report this to the police here in the States, you would be arrested immediately! No 3 year old can do what you've just mentioned unless introduced to it by someone in your environment. The girl must be very comfortable with you and you must have left yourself unguarded many times. Do not take any offense to my words, it's just an observation based on your statement perhaps you might try rephrasing them next time. Furthermore, you need to take serious steps in ensuring the child no longer visits you as I can guarantee the parents would not find it funny with the level of details you are able to give about their child's inappropriate action, from their point of view you are the number 1 suspect! Well spoken. I don't know how op can ever narrate this story and come out smelling like roses |

This child has probably picked dirt somewhere but @d end of the day, you will be shocked people will be looking for how to rope you in and blame you. I strongly advise my fellow brothers not to allow little kids (boys and girls) wander in and out of your house. Please greet them from your door way unless they are with either or both of their parents. Please note most of these pedo.phi.lia stories that happen inside compound or area. They start with a child becoming real cosy with a neighbor. Playing with him, visiting him alone et al. Be careful @ Masquellett. Stop entertaining young kids who are not your relations! |
