Yes with the right tools in place. If our steel mills were working optimally, we are supposed to be producing these components and by now be producing our own cars from the scratch.

Dear house, I have been dating my girl for a while and we plan to get married. We did our introduction last month, and her family gave me a list. On the list, they wrote (Bride Price - Nil) and that got me wondering if its possible to get married without paying bride price. Please I need reasonable contributions only. Thanx
My dear its a Greek gift. My list was 5 pages. The total cost can take care of a standard traditional wedding and yet only #5 was collected as bride price. So tell me, should I consider it a privilege?

The price is very OK. The 60bags might not even be enough.
60 bags to plaster a 3 bedroom flat is way too much. I used 25 bags to plaster a 2 bedroom flat (in and out). Each room is 12ft by 13ft, the sitting room is 18ft by 15ft, the dining is 10ft by 10ft. The 3 bathrooms and the kitchen were not plastered since they will be tiled.

Which subsidy anyway? The one Gej has already removed?
Abeggi. Let's remove it and flow with consequences; short time hardship , long time benefit.
We can't be doing this madness forever.
Thanks brother. Sometimes I wonder, Is it that even the NLC, TLC and the rest of them don't know the implication of the govt subsidizing petroleum products or they just chose to remain ignorant about how detrimental it is to the economy of the nation and how its a drain pipe for corrupt people to feast on.

How can you be subsidizing petroleum products and expect investors to invest their money in building refineries? Why not allow a free market and encourage healthy competition by allowing people sell as they buy.

I think the govt needs to educate the populace so that when the so called trade unions decided to go on strike, they will be on their own.

In my own opinion, I would go for the Sequoia. Its an SUV and will surely be easier to sell off at a good price than the Tundra. As I can see from the pics, its still neat enough to bring in good value for money.
RomanceRe: Edo Men by stpat1(m):
I wonder why you guys are even bothering yourselves trying to defend some archaic lowlife misinformed I'll fated fellows.

If you have dated an Edo guy and the relationship didn't work so be it.

I'm an Edo guy and I know me and my brothers, sisters and cousins make the Edo proud that anyone will be proud to flaunt being married to them.

Though I married an Igbo lady. That is because, I am being surrounded by them where I live and work. I have so many Igbo guys around me and sometimes I wonder how their wives cope and what kind if children these ones will raise but all the same I will never be found using tribal slurs on Igbos cos I am too educated for that knowing that the percentage of the ones I've met does not represent the generalty of the tribe.

I've met cross river and akwa ibom guys and ladies. Had some not so good experience with some of them but have also me some that I consider too good to be cross river or akwa ibom. So you see I won't be fit to showcase them in a bad light.

I've lived with the yorubas almost all my life and still do not have reason to paint them in a bad light.

I dated a Fulani babe during my NYSC and her calm mien simply humbled me.

Talk about prostitution, 70% of girls in Nigerian brothels are Igbos. Maybe its because of their population though. Nevertheless its still not enough for me the generalise all Igbo chick as ladies of easy virtues.

One thing is undeniably certain, you attract your type. If you are crass and thrashy, then don't expect to attract class and royalty.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Most Hilarious Interview Conversation by stpat1(m): 10:01am On Mar 10, 2015
He will certainly get the job if this was real. While I was doing an IT course in a popular IT center, one of the Indian tutor also works part time with one of these fixed wireless communications firm. Now how did he get the job.

He was invited for an interview, the position was for IT security. Now he is an ethical hacker. He said he simply asked that he makes use of one of the computers. You know the computers are all connected to central computer. After working on the computer for a few mins, he generated recharge pins worth millions printed it and presented it to them. They were all stunned beyond imagination and the whole IT guys were in shock. With this, he was immediately employed sharply and made to head that IT security unit.
RomanceRe: At 27 He Has Slept With 46 Girls, Now He Wants To Marry. by stpat1(m): 6:17pm On Mar 09, 2015
If that includes runs babes and one night stands then there is no need to cry foul. If its just babes that he dated and slept with, then its understandable.

Now lets see it this way. If he became sexually active at say 15

At 15: He starts to have sex with like 3-4 girls. You know those periods are when teenagers like to experiment (boys and girls alike). Those times you have a lot of these sex starved house girls around. Most times they are first to even initiate you into the game. Them you also start to try your games with other teenage girls in your immediate neighbourhood.

At 16: The process continues cos most of these girls rarely stay for more than 6 months before they are sent away and another replaces. sometimes you have new girls that are brought from villages and all that. There are also new girls conquered in the neighbourhood. some you should have added like 4 new mates.

At 17:
You should have been through with secondary school. Most likely you had to go for JAMB and WAEC lessons at this period and you also meet a couple (2-3) of girls during the course of attending lessons, writing exams and waiting for results. By now, the guy is a little bolder and will try his tricks on other new territories too. Now he must have learnt how to woo a chick and he'll probably get at least 2 during this period.

At 18: If he is lucky to make his JAMB and WAEC, he proceeds to the higher institution. The truth is that during this time 90% of students will either make their WAEC and not reach cut off for JAMB or pass JAMB and not make compulsory papers like maths, english, physics etc for them to be able to proceed to the university. So now the process at 17 continues and most probably new babes will be added to the count. Teenagers usually don't have this Loving kind of feeling like adults so they just try and get anyone that can succumb. So now he's likely to get like 4 new chicks cos he even has more time on his hands.

At 19: By now there is pressure on him by his parents to get into the higher institution, so its either he passes his JAMB and WAEC or he gets admitted into pre degree program, Computer school, Pre nd. At this time, he should be able to win at least 2-3 babes. Remember that he is now in the university environment. When he comes home too, he discovers there have been some changes and there are new chicks in the neighbourhood. Now he starts feeling like one uni dude and uses that influence to bed maybe 1-2 new chicks on the block.

At 20: he is now in the main stream higher education system. He now knows he way around and if he stays outside campus, he should be able to bed like 3-4 indigenous chicks that will even be proud to be dating a university guy. He can also add like 2 chicks from school.

From 21-24: with the whole processes going on for 5 years in school, that is from going home and meeting like 1-2 new chicks, at this period he should have met like 15 chicks in school (that is from those met at Departmental parties, welcome parties, birthday parties, friends house, indigenous babes around course mates house etc). Also times like these are when most guys also get to find out nooks and crannies where prostitutes hang out. During his school years (4-5) most guys would have slept with a minimum of 30 Ashies. i.e 1 in a month X 12 months X 5 years (lets assume he met some more than once). You will agree with me that most likely 1 in a month is kind of the barest minimum.

At 25: He should have been out of school and probably waiting to go for NYSC. This period lets say he get 1-2 cos he is now at home and freedom is restricted so he just tries to make do. At this time though, he still sneaks out to ashy joints to get fixes. During this period of 4 - 8 months he might have slept with like 20 ashies.

26-27: Probably should be in NYSC program. During this period, there are a lot of chicks that are looking out to hooking a guy so he kind of gets some easy lockdown. He should be able to bed like 4 corp members on the average, 5 secondary school girls and 2-3 indigenous girls living around his lodge.

Now if you do the calculation, you'd agree with me that 46 babes at 27 yrs is quite normal and natural. From when a guy is born to to 25-30, most guys would have slept with an average of 55 normal chicks. We would not take the Ashies figures into consideration cos that are usually and mostly unaccounted for.

Me I no even get more than 3 chicks till now sef wink grin

@spyder880,

I want to be sure of what the thread is actually about.

Are you saying the total cost of building the 2 bedroom flat flat is 2.5m?

I mean from foundation to lintel, to roofing, to the aluminium sheets, to the wiring, to the plumbing work, the burglary, to the windows, the doors , the tiling, the plastering, the balusters, and all workmanship?

How far with the port Harcourt duplexes you talked about. Has it kicked off? where do you plan to locate the project in ph?

I will like to know.

Thanks

For all those that always raise the roof when they hear that a man hits a woman. I tell you, pray that you never find a reason to do that. I tell any lady I date, any day you try to push me to the limits or rain insults on me in public, I will not hit her but that relationship must be ended.

A lady I dated in school, we only had a heated misunderstanding once and that was the end of the 3 years relationship. I condoled all her fuckups done in within but the day she had the effrontery to try and be physical with me in public was the day the relationship ended. She begged and sent emissaries but I just couldn't go back to the relationship.

I'm married and I have already told my wife (just incase she stumbles on this). The day you try to embarrass me in public, you can as well forget about the marriage. I will just move out of the house. All I know is that you cant sell the house. I wont mind renting a self contain and go to work from there.

Some women are terrible. I see some guys endure so much disturbing and abusive relationship and I wonder why they even bother hitting the lady instead of just letting go the the damn enslavement.

Its my personal view o.
