TPAND: Burna boys mom's comment is just insensitive. A girl cliam she's pregnant for your son, instead of telling your son to invite her, so you could get an authentic details of the whole event, you rather went on displaying traits of being a bad mother.
Burna boys mom's actions just suggested the kind of home she's from. Not all mothers deserve a happy Mother's Day. This woman is one of them y didn't she go to the mother first before coming on net. abeg she should go and apologise to the mother. |

She's the one pregnant and to bear higher chunk of responsibility that comes with the baby. You tell her your stance and that you can't shoulder baby responsibility and even if you can shoulder one you don't need such responsibility now. She should get rid of it or you evade responsibility. Finito. What if she is your sister, will u assist him in doing the d&c for her? Do to others as you would they do unto you. |

emmydee: To deal with rats? Simply buy rat poison of say N150. Then mix them in a sweet jollof rice. Dish it in small quantities about the size of an egg. Then serve them in the evening time around 8pm at different locations within your compound. Try repeat this process after a week. My dear, you will NOT see a rat in your apartment in the next 6 months. Tank me later. thanks so much for your concern, I will keep on trying different methods including the one you just suggested. A grateful heart i am, thanks. |

joey150: you didnt ask me,but here is how i solved mine.
focus on stopping them from getting in..move round your houses and carefully identify holes that those rat may exploit. mostly nets/doors that have either too much clearance underneath or have some pieces that have succumbed to the forces of nature(rust, decay e.t.c).
close them up..when you are sure they can't get in...focus on killing the ones in the house..lest they double again. and sweep your kitchen at night, avoid leaving reminants for them. rats disgusts me too. hope i have helped! Thank you so much my friend but honestly, it seems there is an underground channel they pass to enter into my house, ave tried doing all these you enumerated but believe me u, it isn't working. So I need something that would chase them out (something they would perceive the odour) and never allow them into the house and somebody suggested "black pepper", have you heard of it before? if yes, please confirm to me if it truly works, thanks once again, am grateful for your concern. |

ekenetheorg: The solution to rats are: seal all the holes in your home. Make sure your door is always closed or at least use a net to keep it closed. Rats will die and go into extinction naturally if they have no way to leave and new ones will never come in. I have tried doing that, but sincerely I can't figure out where they are coming in from. I heard there is this pepper called "black pepper", have you heard of it before? I was told it chases rats away. please do let me know if u are aware of it. thanks my friend. |

agoadiv: 16. Do you cry while peeling off onions, then try this. After peeling off your onions, refrigerate the onions for at least 5minutes, then dice it. You will be glad you did.
17. For aluminum pans that are looking dull, just boil some apple peels in them. This will brighten up the aluminum and make your house smell yummy.
18. If your salt is becoming lumpy, put a few grain of rice in with it to absorb excess moisture.
19. Always keep an aloe vera plant in your kitchen. It’s invaluable when you scrape your arm or burn your finger. Just break off a leaf and rub the gel from the inside on the injury.
20. When making a soup, sauce, that ends up too fatty or greasy, drop in an ice cube. The ice will attract the fat, which you can then scoop out. This works wonders Thanks so much op for this write up, have sincerely learnt something new but I need your advice on how to deal with rats in my apartment . They keep coming in after killing them one after the other and am tired of buying this chemical with an expensive rat killer. Honestly, I will be so relieve if you can help me with a permanent solution to this rat problem and most importantly, the soak away at the back of my house is also a major problem as it has so many holes around it and my landlady seems not to have the money to repair it, only waiting for a new tenant fee before she could start work on it. please I urgently need your advice on her to chase these rats permanently from my abode, cos they are really scaring me, thanks in anticipation of your response. |

omenka: First off, I'm a party supporter and not a Rep. Be clear on that.
Now, make no mistakes, I appreciate the hardship the citizens are going through but also know too well some bitter pills must be swallowed and sacrifices made if we desire to attain the record heights we aspire to as a country.
We all know that policy is unsustainable and some of us, in our private fora, supported the idea of its total removal even under the ex-president- the only misgivings being that the regime was fatally corrupt and any saving made thereof could easily be stolen in the blink of an eye.
How SURE-P was handled vindicated our position. It became a facade behind which the most obscene acts of corruption/theft were perpetrated- that much was confirmed by the Chairman Kolade Christopher himself who eventually threw in the towel in disgust.
We must admit there would have been a more propitious time to administer the pill but for the government to have had the balls to pull this off at a time like this suggests it's already had its back up against a reinforced wall through which it couldn't break.
What we are witnessing today are a cascading effect of the record plunge in oil prices- world oil majors have been feeling the pinch as well- most notably Venezuela. Even Saudi with her trillion dollar economy has been slashing subsidies, how much more Nigeria...
I have no doubt the president has the best interest of the country at heart and fully understands the consequences of his action. I'm confident savings made from this would be channelled into areas with real and measurable impact on the average Nigerian- it isn't gonna be another SURE-P regime. When this is done, our country men and women would eventually see the propriety of the policy and would even forget shiit even happened.
Ask yourself this- would we rather keep buying gasoline at about twice the official rate while "subsidising" it or officially deregulate while the price remain unchanged??
This stuff would pan out beautifully, I believe so. please people like me don't want to hear anything about APC which u represent. Seeing your handle alone irritate me. No body is interested in your long epistle cos it's only when its done by APC you people will preach sacrifice but when its Jonathan, your APC nonsense of a party will unleash fire. Go and enjoy your fuel subsidy removal and I hope u have visited the market of recent to see the increase in goods. Honestly, u irritate me with this your APC defense. I don't know you and trust me, will never have anything to do with u in this forum as regards to either quoting you or liking your comments as this will be my first and last time to ever have anything to do with your post. You disgust me with this your eye service defense of your so called party. |

Rapmoney: There are so many people on this thread now that do not know the nature of the people of Ekpan community in Delta State.
What you are reading is what the young ones (students) copied from their elders.
People from this community hardly travel. This is a community where you will see a man of 45 yrs who has never travelled out of Ekpan since he was born? How do you expect such person to behave properly?
They like to fight and kill themselves; majority are criminals! There's always one communal clash or the other everyday. Ask around, nobody even wants to rent a 2 bed room flat for as low as 5k per month in Ekpan.
Last Warning: If you stay in this community, leave their girls alone or else they kill you. If you are progressing in business, pack out of the community or else, they'll start to envy you; they might end up burning your shop! Fvck Newton! Fvck Baro!! Fvck Ekpan!!! my friend cover your head with the blood of Jesus make this people wey you mention no locate you spiritually but then all u said is 101% correct, may God heal uvwie and ekpan land in Jesus name, amen. |

Reading your post, it shows you are ready to lay curses on any slightest provocation or derailment as a man. That is aside "cheating" on you, if he fails to buy bread while returning home from work, you would curse him; if he fails to wash the plate he ate with, na another curses u go pour untop his head; if he asks why the tv set in the house was spoilt, another set of curses him go receive. I mean, who wants such a woman as a wife? I reject it 101%...amen. kai! kai!! kai!!!!, my friend, infact I need you to change that your first statement please, becos, I am that woman that possesses the virtue of Sarah the wife of our dear father Abraham in the bible. I hate adultery with passion! Any man who can not stand one woman should not marry because the pain of knowing that your husband sleeps with another woman is so so depressing and takes years to fade off ones being. Just imagine you catching your wife with another man on your matrimonial bed, how would u feel? Ore, I am a very gentle person when you meet me one on one but makes use of the pen power to express my feelings. |

postmann: What do you call pettiness?? The willingness of people to engage in random, multiple sex with different partners they never ended up in marriage with, and keep it a secret from their bonded and covenanted partners?
You're the sign of the age! The permissiveness of the age is a mighty flood, and you've been washed off shore! Mr permissiveness, and what happens after you must have learnt of the numerous guys she had slept with? Your level of reasoning is too rigid, learn to loosen up a bit. You are taking life too serious, relax! there is nothing in this world, including the marriage you are killing your self over because all is vanity. Learn to accept people for who they are and remember, we are all humans and as such prone to mistakes, if you love someone, love them for who they are including their past and not to make them feel worthless becos of their past. Remember the prostitute that ran to Jesus when the Jews were about stoning her for her sins? Can you also remember what Jesus asked the Jews, which saw all of them dropping their stones and leaving. Jesus simply told the woman saying," neither do I condemned you, go and sin no more". Jesus wasn't interested in her sins but her turning a new leaf, and i believe that should be paramount in any relationship we are into. Forgiveness of sins including the past and helping your partner to becoming a better person u want him or her to be. Now my question, what do you need her past for after marriage? |
Family › Re: Your Marriage Is A Fraud! by ststyreal(f): 10:16pm On May 06, 2016 |
Arsenate: Not only do they keep the number of men the slept with secret, they also never confess the number of children they murdered, aka aborted. Marriage built on lies, deceit and dark secrets is a fraud. A scam, actually. Postmann, keep drumming the bitter truth to them. u guys just like raising unnecessary dust in your marital home. Everyone have got a past, some past are painful tales to tell hence the preferation to let them remain in the past. Once you guys are married, I don't see any need for resurfacing the past again, cos that should have been ask during courtship and not after marriage. Abeg, you guys should just let the dead remain in the grave please |

Career › Re: Masters Or Stay On Job? by ststyreal(f): 11:53pm On May 03, 2016 |
bicmitchum: This is a point in my life where I really need other opinions about my pending decision. Here are the points:
-I graduated first class some years ago after completing studies at the University of Lagos -Secured numerous masters admission with and without scholarship and intended to go for masters immediately, but got an attractive job offer with an oil multinational. Took the job offer. -I've worked now about 4+ years with this multinational and the going has been incredibly terrific. Even with the incredible layoffs in my company and in the oil industry, it looks very likely I'll continue to keep my job. -Every year I have continued to apply for masters in universities abroad given my intention to really acquire a masters and possibly a PhD degree. Never once accepted any of the offers I have been getting. Simply ignored them. As the years rolled by, the offers are no longer coming as usual. I'm getting turned down by schools. -This year I have now obtained an offer to complete my masters at the No.1 ranked university in Canada, my desired destination. The only offer I got among the top schools I applied to. No scholarships. -I'm yet unentitled to study leave
Here's the question: do I quit my job and go complete this masters in a really reputable school or do I stay back in Nigeria and continue slugging it out in the oil industry? Who knows what will come of the industry as the oil price continues to flutter? Who knows how my future might turn out if I leave to go chase the masters?
Here's my decision: Work is getting boring as time races on. I'm not getting any younger. I'm in my very late twenties. I should quit, go chase my masters and embrace any uncertainty that may come out of that. If I'm unable to secure an attractive job I'll go with academics for life whether in Canada or in Nigeria. I might even secure a Canadian citizenship. Canada is a lovely destination where I don't mind spending a large chunk of my life.
My worry: I have a comfortable life here. Why shake the bottle? Why stir the pot? Racism is still rife in these "white" countries. My life could get unbearable mixing in a culture I'm not familiar with.
Any inputs, please. In life generally nothing meaningful can be achieved without an iota of risk involved. My humble advice is that if you are sure you have saved enough money to guarantee your self a stress free master program, why not give it a shot, you know what they say about time, it wait for no one. Quickly go for your masters program and perhaps you might be lucky enough after the programme to be accepted back by this your company. So just go for your masters, that is if you are financially stable and every other things will follow suit in due time. Fear not bro and be bold enough to take the risk. Meanwhile bro, can I forward my CV to you please......., may not be in your company perse but to summit in any of your friends or pals company u may know. This lady needs a job for real. Bless u bro |
