Shoot2Kill:I totally agree with you,not just owning a gun but mastering the act of using it properly to avoid accidental discharge and accurate targeting. And to all those asking,if its a good idea of having a gun in Naija, imagine you sleeping in your bedroom and someone boys high on weed enters your compound and subject you to all kind of humiliation and maybe take turns with the females around you, how would you feel? If you had a defense weapon, you would surprise them and don't forget to eliminate the intruder for once cos there is no regrouping or coming back, period! In a country, where police come after every robbery, what do you expect? I would surly own one,if i plan to stay in Naija for Defensive purpose only!, so its in my house, i mean a good Double barrel cos it create unimaginable hole to the skull and the receiver on the other end is dead, forever! Only a metal can straighten a metal,so if they come and you were able to snipe one or two, they would know, its not that easy to cross you line of action. If you can own a gun in Naija, please do,it would spare you a nightmare of seeing some people around you be humiliated. Styles |
Ghadaffi again? Please someone ask this man, why is he interested in Nigeria's affairs? His friend Abacha is dead,so he should fkuc off big time, as for his utterance, How many of you want Nigeria to divide? Hey, we could work it out with SNC but no president have the balls to initiate it. Styles |
Odunnu:Try this option, i once had such similar issue with my HP dv6850el and the customer service told me that, i had to switch off the laptop and remove the battery and hold the power source button (on/off button) for like 5 mins. After 5 mins i would plug it directly to the power source and turn off the laptop and it functioned well but Be careful not to remove the cable from the power source,so as not to loose all the data on your laptop as the battery is not present. After an hour i switched off the laptop and inserted the battery and also the power source and everything worked well. Try and operate the laptop without the battery and connect directly to power source, if it works fine, then its a battery problem, also see if the ventilation is not blocked, its a common problem with many laptop to make everything freeze as it gets hotter. To all those raining insult on Charly Baba, I guess you need to get your head examine by a mad man, Did i hear someone says "who the hell is Charly Boy?" let all the Okada men i Lagos catch you and you would know that,Charly boy is Area Father of Lagos. @ The Yankee girl, who doesn't know Charly Boy, read below We wrote our names in the wind before they could pluck a leaf------------Professor Zunabi of Namibia. |
@ All Some simple and straight questions: If the Federal Government took up projects and spend the percentage Fashola's Governments is currently spending, then you would as for accountability? How many projects are being carried out in Niger-Delta? Please, the are more concreate Projects to investigate about. Styles NB: If he embezzle money and the state is in perfect condition in compare to others, i guess he's paying himself for a Job well done. |
@All If we divide all these funny news would stop.please lets work it out, i dey enjoy this aboki comedians ![]() Styles |

honeric01:You are right there but sponsorship deals ($$$) and the rule of law would cage them, take German leagues for example,if you get caught its a life ban and prison terms, so its a 2 way sword but i don't think all referees would be that bad to sell all the matches as many still love the game and aiming higher to coordinate international matches under FIFA. With a good justice system, these things done in European football can also be done in Naija, Have you ever thought ,why so many people watch football in England, i mean at stadiums ![]() Many put money on their teams and hope they win, some even pay the stadium fees with money won from gambling, so there is money in circulation from the sport. Styles |
inf8nity:Are you in Nigeria? am doing a little research of internet user and mode of connection. Do you think many Nigerians would like using internet for discussions like forums? Styles |
seyiphoto:@ Seyi, you sound like a Pastor, lol ![]() Anyway many think its very hard sourcing for information but with google, its like a library on my finger tips. so tell me, Are you an avid sport fan? i need people to visit my upcoming forum and contribute to sporting events and news. Styles |
@ Poster, A .com name is good and easily accessible than a .com.ng, as people might forget the ng and dont find your domain, If you want to reach out to Nigerians and the world in general,i would advise for a .com name, which cost lest than 20$ and free hosting. 350k for a dot com name is pure 419 cos me i buy domains for $0.79 cents . Styles |
candylips:@Poster You are right there, they all worship European leagues, which the Europeans don't care,if we live talk less of viewing our football. I bet,if 5 companies like Glo,Zain,Shell,Oando,Chevron and Dangote should contribute and sponsor the league, you would be surprised, how motivated and goals would fall like water. Most players there are afraid of injury,so they play less and most matches end with less than 3 goals, in Seria A last week a match ended with more than 7 goals as the teams played like,if it was the world cup finals. I didn't know they could play so much and some betting company are already featuring Nigerian Premier league and its a good development. Styles |
@ All We all thought this topic was a waste of time and single minded but we could just see that less than 72hrs of posting this topic, the devil in them had struck Jos again. My heart goes out to all those who lost there family or love ones in Jos but i guess you know what to do. Let the lesson this time be dished out to them very well ,so they would think before they come again like they did 3am on Monday morning, cowards. Styles |
Nafifi: @ Naffi I would be damn to agree with your opinion and i know your heart fell as you read this piece and you couldn't believe such truth would be published for so many to read for free without censorship or an manipulation from any Editor. All i want you to know that as long as SNC (Sovereign National Conference) is not organized in Nigeria, many would still be marginalized and things would continue like this for many years to come. I hope you go through this forum well and read the April 1990 Coup deceleration, "Those guys where right" all this are still happening today and 98% of us reading that speech would have wished the coup was a success as it would have solved many problem of our country. As i once read on an internet forum pertaining to the 1990 Orka coup,"They had no fear in their eyes as they knew death was near" Let everyone on this forum read that speech and tell me, If, they were not right?

@Poster, I can feel your pain but its a very simple way to find out. Go to Walmart and the Technical department they surly have some cool teddy bear and inside a wireless camera that could run on batteries for days. (If they could sell guns, then such cameras are small issue )Buy it and give it to her as a gift and don't forget to turn it on to record immediately you get home, also buy as many as possible teddy bear to get any video as possible and in 7 days, you would get the most shocking videos of Father and Daughter, NB: Please, we on Nairaland would be very happy to see the video first before it get on you tube, i mean post the video here first before youtube,we would appreciate it ![]() |
@ Every Nigerian To all those raining insult on Asari Dokubo don't you all forget ,he's a brave, respected and feared leader among his people and the whole of the Niger-Delta. I am a Lagosian not a Nigerian! |
@ Every Nigerian To all those raining insult on Asari Dokubo don't you all forget that ,he's a brave, respected and feared leader among his people and the whole of the Niger-Delta. If only we, the southerners would give people like him the opportunity for him to lead us and fight for our freedom but we choose to nail him on the cross and as a result,we have a vegetative President running the affairs of 150 Million healthy citizen. (Only in Nigeria, snail of Africa!) Don't you sometimes feel ashamed carrying that green passport ,whenever you get singled out in every Airport for further questioning? This is due to some illiterates, pretending to be our leader. During the OBJ regime, he brought the money making machine of Nigeria to its knee, asking for equal distribution of wealth but many labeled him a Rebel and Thief, watch his videos on youtube, he was selling Petrol below the Govt approved price and People like him for that cos he provided people in his environment with, what the Federal government could not achieve (Petrol below pump price). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ylv65fgK8jM&hl=en_US&fs=1& He also asked for Compensation for pollution in the Niger-delta but the FG thinks its a normal thing to destroy and deprive people from their means of livelyhood, About a week ago in Northern Italy,There was an Oil spill from a Refinery and it enter the famous river Po, as for now, people are worried about the damage it would cause to the Ground water and other aquatic life living in and around the River. Why did i bring that up? when i saw it on TV, it remind me of Niger-Delta and i came to my senses, that no one even care about the unending gas flaring and water pollution in the Niger Delta. As a reminder, its only in Nigeria people get punish for trying to do or make things right, Asari,Ribadu,el Rufai and thousands of others in detention in various government center across Nigeria. We need a revolution and start supporting such leader cos its our only Hope. N:B Asari you would always be my Hero and hope to hear more from you soon. Styles |
@Redman44 I wan Redman44:@Redman 44 How i wish many people using this forum could see sense in your comment and start a continuation from it but many are busy trading word on unnecessary issues here. I would ask a BIG question, Is it not time people stop immigrating from Nigeria to Europe or US? don't think am against immigration but there are many Options. For how long, would we continue on this mass immigration for survival? Are we not ashamed to feed on other peoples Economy? I could give you stories of,where SSS2 Students are ready to abandon school and go to Italy for "*Work", there are many teenagers roaming the streets of Italy engaging in all sought of vices for the survival of their families back in Nigeria,Why? *Work= Prostitution or now called School I don't know about, where you reside in Europe but if you live here(Italy) as a Nigerian, you would be preferred to be called a Ghanian than a Nigerian as for the bad reputation attributed to the nation called Nigeria not to talk of you Showing a Nigerian passport. On naijapals.com i had to loose control for 3 days replying to one topic and verbally attacking a Nigerian guy,who claimed to be a PhD in Accounting and begs in supermarket all day as he complained that Italians are racist, meanwhile he begs to fed everyday and proud of it as a Nigerian on the forum. As for me, i know Nigerians are proud people and such a guy must be ask,if he could ever do such things back home. Why all this issue drives me crazy is this, What examples are been laid for the future generations? Just to grow up and immigrate to another country and live illegally? What's life in this? Please, i see we have close opinion in problems affecting Nigerian youth in Nigeria, lets come together with the use of IT and enlighten them about all the dangers of believing in traveling and making it big, There is no place like home. Remember ,if we do this, we would be contributing to the development in a small but significant way, that would prevent further embarrassment of the Nation in foreign countries. I know the youth all need resources to live and stay out of poverty but must we all engage in vices such all illegal immigrants to survive? No! hope you write back and visit my blog as i already started my own pieces of contribution,i still need your contribution and i would let you know more from there. http://eddyokonta..com/ Please, write back Edward J. |
Its true, some kings are walking on foot and slaves riding on horses. Nigerians think much about material things and thats why many dont have stay in Europe. An example, many Nairalanders would not know that as at Sept 2009 the Italian government approved a law for about 350,000 unregistered worker in Italy (Illegal immigrant working as care give and assistant) to be given the right to be legal and all they have to do is make someone sign a work contract for then for a maximum of 40hrs per week and a payment of 500 euros as fee for the givers. Why am i saying this, there are lots of Nigerians in my city with all the requirements to help those, who are not legal but they intend tell you to provide huge sum like 5000 euros up wards or your hear a fkucing comment * I wan help my brother for naija come* ![]() Anyway, i myself know a way of dealing with such people, whenever there so called brother or relatives comes, i refuse to give any assitance of work cos then they remember that, you can be of help to their brother, lol. All i want to say is that , sometimes our pride destroy us as a people, why not help others here but prefer to laugh them cos of tempoary situation of life. @Poster, overstay is a problem here in Italy, there is a law that would get you arrested immediately after much immgration of people enroute Libya, Before its was a thing of you getting a Job and behave yourself. I know of people getting arrested as at 3 year back without any criminal record and after 15hrs maximum, they let you go to present yourself later but people dont respect it cos they also know you wont show up, but if you do, my guy they would buy you a ticket to Lag, i mean MM Lagos |
@ Poster Welcome to Nairaland and believe me , you havent seen anything yet. Am dead sure some Busy body are already planning to reply and start a fight no one would ever win. But enjoy yourself and stay out of some rooms like Business and Co, 419plc ![]() Respect! |
Enyimba Kaduna United FC Date 21-02-2010 Time 15:00 GMT Venue : Enyimba Sports Stadium Aba (Nigeria) Don't ask why i posted this, its a reply to all those, who only like oyinbo things, like you and me. ![]() Eddy |
I got my money on this, Liverpool is losing that match or a draw Man city all the way with a win or draw. By the way,i didnt see anyone posting the time schedule for Eyimba of Aba ? ![]() |
You reside abroad, the family could at least stay out of this but there are some few questions for you. Your family is afraid loosing you as to the white woman ,if you are not careful Would she make you happy ![]() Would she allow you to still become the same person your family know? Is she ready to give you ,your own child or maybe 2? You mama also wan carry her Grandchild according to african tradition! Age is not a problem,if you are okay with it. How about marrying a home girl your family would like and it end up here, giving you problems? i don see and hear plenty Your happiness is the most important thing, not marrying someone from your country or villa. As for a naija guy, we like football and don't mind inviting the whole crew to watch and shout with us on any match, Is she comfortable with that? As long as she like the smell of naija food (stockfish) and maybe eat them, men you are feel to go for her but don't let her marriage to you become a sort of criteria of choosing or living your normal naija life. Don't forget to follow your heart and remember she must like naija culture cos if she fake am, na she go run, believe me. |
@ V/Admiral Please set up a Military topic board for Nairaland, there are alot of people interested in the Military just like me. one quick question, Is Age a problem joining the NDA? @ All other users We Nigerians loves too much money, all we think of ,How much is the pay? Do we ever think of Patriotism? Kai, we don finish! |
Do some certification and don't think your 3rd class is a limitation, you could become one of the world's best Software developer in the world. Packaging is the key to success, those certificate is just a proof that you were in that school. Styles |
Hello, Don't know much about this but if your heart say go for it,then do your research well and you would surly succeed. I watch one documentary last month on TV in Italy and i wanted to become a farmer instantly, saw in Kenya they were planting Flower (I mean like Roses and stuff like that), they export these flowers to make lot of money as Oyinbo man like flowers so much. Do you research well, Nigeria has the climate for such e.g Plateau state. The is no useless career in this world as there is always a place you would fit in. Its not about the payment, its about enjoy doing, what you like doing best and do it well. Styles |
I would surly go back to Nigeria someday and contribute to the development of my dear country. First, i would state a famous saying, "its not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country". We need to contribute every little thing to the development of our country,we must not let the greed and enslavement of money to keep us out of contributing to the development of Nigeria. Many would say, I am not serious but lets look at this from an angle, how would it benefit us,if we make good degrees, lot of money and build houses in Nigeria, but we cant stay there for 1 week without the fear of Robbery or scared of power failure? you may ask why this now?, if we go home with our degree, set up a business or manage a place like Nepa, do you think the crime rate would increase or decrease ![]() We must not let the government do all the work for us,they are just a few elements, who are ruling the country but we the ordinary citizens of Nigeria must contribute alot to the success and development of the country or we would only trade blame on the internet forums about Bad governance and Corruption. If i may ask the following schooled abroad and returned home to help the country in so many ways, Late Chief Gani Fawehimi (sam), Professor Wole Soyinka, just to mention a few. Talk of Gani, i missed his so much in November 2009,when the President flew to an unknown destination,if he was alive, there would have been like 20 suit filed by him and like 300 different protests not to talk of uncountable interviews in the media, He had some foreign education and used it to contribute greatly to the legal system of Nigeria. (We need more of him now). I know, its a sacrifice leaving a country with all the good things of life but lets not forget the country you live in right now, they are humans too like Nigerians and all the difference is more hard work by the citizens. I myself is planning in some years time to go to Nigeria and do my own contribution to the development of Nigeria, We are still young and strong,if we all labor now for our country,we would all reap good things, when we are old.
