I read that uneven tightening of wheel nuts could cause my rotors to warp. They are currently warped and I have ordered a new set of rotors and want to be sure that the wheel nuts are tightened correctly. Can anyone source a torque wrench and the necessary adaptors and give me a quote. |

Any engine oil with API classification of SF or more. Most petrol stations stock this in 1 litre bottles. They'll usually be SAE 40. |
I think you can use the spare 10A fuse as long as you aren't using your cigarette lighter to actually light up. I am pretty sure if you pop into Gudu market or Apo, any auto electrician can find a spare fuse to give you, possibly less than 200 naira...the 10 A fuse could suffice till you find a 15 A replacement. You could pull the S-HTR fuse which i think is for the seat heater ... pull it and see what else doesn't work...or i could check if i have a spare and we meet up later in the day. |
Look on the reverse side of the fuse box cover. You should see a layout of the fuses. OR pull each one out and inspect if it's broken and replace with a fuse of the same rating... or bridge it (unadvisable) |

O auhanson:You made a lot of valid points but messed it all up with your chemical equation. How does water react with oxygen to give sulphuric acid? Oxidation has nothing to do with sulphuric acid so refresh your chemistry and correct yourself sharp sharp ...but what do I know. |
If it has bluetooth then it can be paired with a phone else you have one of a number of options: 1. If you car has an AUX IN then you can plug it in using an auxiliary cable to your earphone port. 2. Change the factory stereo to one with bluetooth capabilities however you have no steering buttons to answer calls 3. Get a bluetooth speaker attached to the visor of your car and pair your phone to take calls. They usually automatically answer calls after two rings so its handsfree 4. Get a MP3 / bluetooth FM modulator and pair your phone then tune your radio to the frequency. you can play your music and take calls with this and some even show the caller on the little screen. |

keyman0007:Your recommended oil is the 5w 30 and you are wrong, you will find it in Abuja. Go to the Gudu market and search the toyota shops there, you will get the OEM Toyota oil. Then you can google how to reset the maintenance required indicator. |
Your recommended ATF is the Toyota World Standard (WS). You don't need to change it if it doesn't smell or look 'burnt' . It should have a pinkish color. Normal driving conditions would be your everyday commute however if you use it to tow or pull a trailer then you'd have to change it more often....I think. |
dayosaurus:Very silly report! Is the screenshot below meant to be a post made by the American Military? Reads more like what an illiterate who knows nothing about military tactics would write. I think some posts should be scrutinized before pushing to the frontpage. |
That's the OEM coolant you should be looking out for. What town do you live in?

Did the AIT documentary say GLORIA OKON or GLADYS INYAMA? I believe it was Gladys Inyama who was executed by firing squad and not Gloria Okon; i also believe it was Gladys Inyama mentioned in the documentary. |

sbaks:The arabic inscription tells the value of the note. I know this because many many years ago i asked a friend who was well versed in arabic what it meant and he told me it is the translation of the value of the note from hausa to arabic. So if you were able to read arabic, the translation on the 500 naira would read as naira dari biyar. Don't ask me the reasoning behind writing it in arabic as against writing it in Hausa; It could have been purely for aesthetic reasons. I like the beauty of the written inscriptions and see nothing wrong with it but that's just my opinion. Lastly, it is buns not bons ![]() |
Untainted007:Then you are better off doing your servicing yourself. You can probably find the engine oil spec on the filler cap or in the user manual however just out of curiosity, does comprehensive insurance cover repairs of your vehicle? |
GAZZUZZ:Well he has a better chance by not giving them an excuse not to live up to it. I'm sure it works out cheaper carrying out the servicing independently but he has to weigh that against the benefits of having a warranty. After the three years, he is free to do as he wishes but that is a lot of services!! |
GAZZUZZ:I can read the bolded above sir! The free servicing has finished but not his warranty. Let me explain. When you buy a vehicle from Hyundai, you get the first three services free and you also get 3 years warranty / warranty for 100,000 km (whichever comes first). Note that warranty is different from servicing. If you service your vehicle outside after the first three services, you void the warranty. So my dear sir, I understood the bolded and I'm advising him that he should keep on servicing with the service Centre unless of course he isn't bothered if the car develops a factory fault and he cannot return the vehicle to hyundai because he decided to carry out his servicing outside thereby voiding the warranty. So sir, if he chooses not to take this advise, he can easily find out what oil to use online or use palm oil. |
My advise is to keep servicing at the hyundai service Centre. You still have a little over 2 years on your warranty which you will void if you service your vehicle outside of their service center. |

kkmny81:No insolence intended but I have been on the receiving end of a jerk who was using these lights at night and blinding me. So, like I said, be considerate. My apologies for any offense caused. |
kkmny81:You just called them OFF-ROAD lights; so unless you are going to be using them off-road like when you are going to your remote farm inside the bush or driving in the desert on your way to work then don't be a jerk and use them to dazzle oncoming drivers at night. For aesthetics, I believe you can have them installed but be considerate using it at night. |
