Annoying and demoralising...I totally agree. I left in 2006 with less than 1000 pounds and a warning not to come back without a Masters degree. I worked as a cleaner and a security guard. Did I enjoy it? No! I still did it and in 2009, I resigned and enrolled full-time for my masters and did the whole year without working from my savings and even had enough to travel to Tanzania to carry out my thesis. Today, I'm back in Nigeria with a good job but I still remember my experience from years back. I know a guy who had 3 Masters degree and was still working as a security guard and had enrolled for a 4th one just so he could have a visa to stay back. If you've got a plan and you need to actualize it...then the type of job you do doesn't matter. The key thing is not to get carried away and stay back in the dead end jobs. |

All budgets in this country from Federal Level down to the local government level are jokes. I had the opportunity to work with a few MDAs in the preparation of their Zero-Based budgets. While the initiative was a good one in theory, the MDAs were just not ready to embrace it and kept on in their old ways even after numerous corrections. Imagine an office putting the unit cost of diesel at 204 naira per litre and when i flagged this, they said "leave it like that, that is the contract price". Two years ago, i worked on a project analyzing the budgets of the 774 LGAs and 80% of them were terrible! Most were replications of the previous year, some used pens to mark-up the previous year's budget and presented as the current year. The summations were wrong. Recurrent and Capital didn't add up correctly and in most cases, the breakdown of the capital and recurrent didn't tally with the total on the budget summary.
I think the fault lies with the budget office; the time frame between when the MDAs submitted their budgets and the presentation of the budget to the National Assembly was way to short to allow the Budget office scrutinize the budgets. |

When Soludo was CBN governor, he tried to do this but the plan was rejected. People at the time thought removing two zeroes will reduce the value of their money. They failed to realize that all it meant was what they used to buy at 100 naira would cost 1 naira. This doesn't imply that goods have become cheaper though. Yes, those documents albeit photocopies needs to be provided and a letter requesting to cash in the policy. However, be prepared to get less than you've accumulate in the 40 months. I speak from personal experience; I had a similar policy I started in 2012. Early this year I decided to opt out and was told I'd get 290,000 less than I had accumulated. Apparently, the broker is given a commission on every payment made because when I questioned why this amount was being deducted, he offered to waive his commission and have them pay me my full amount. Brake work completed, culprit found to be bad brake servo master and a brake flexi cable linked to driver's wheel which was ruptured. Faulty components replaced, brake system bled, and vehicle regained brakes. |

I told him i was sending a mechanic to view it which i did and the person told me it was good. I don't know if Fenex was thinking i'd send payment to him but on Monday i sent my cousin to help me confirm that the car is genuinely for sale and then i will send money to him to make payment. Fenex directed them to where the vehicle was but didn't expect my cousin to ask questions. The vehicle did not even belong to Fenex and wasn't the same one in the advert so when my cousin asked the sellers how much, they said a price much higher than what Fenex said. I called Fenex to ask him what the matter was, he began telling me that my cousin shouldn't have asked them how much. He probably felt my cousin would look at it, confirm that it is genuine and i would then make payment. Like i said, deal with Fenex at your own risk. The vehicle my cousin saw is attached.

Your best bet is to search the Internet for y exact part number of the brain box for your model of Toyota Corolla. Use your VIN if possible and you should get an exact match. Then make sure any brain box you purchase matches the part number. This will save you the hassle of trial and error. |

Bros, are you not the one i did a car scan for in Gwarinpa? I think its an engine oil issue. That your engine oil is too light for your car. When you rectify it, switch to 5w30. I use the same model and I have stuck to 0w-20 grade oil since the day I bought it. I experienced same sound years ago and by checking Google, realised it was a faulty water pump and there was an updated part. A few months ago, another rattle began and that was the timing chain. I had the engine dropped and timing chain replaced and the noise is gone. You should probably check these two parts. Please run from any mechanic who says they don't have to drop the engine to replace the chain or who tells you it's the chain that has slacked and offers to weld so metal on the tensioner to reduce the slack. |

You mentioned only the software. Do you have the hardware? The software cannot work in isolation on your android. You need a supported hardware which will fit in the OBD port shown above. It is that hardware that will sync with the android software via Bluetooth. |
