Melagros:
The political dynamics in Nigeria is dramatic and full of setbacks, some governors resisted the gentleman's agreement they had with their godfathers and made headway, unfortunately, others could not!
Please permit me to be brief/to summarise

KATSINA STATE: Shema vs. Yar'adua; Shema defied Yar'adua orders, sacks SSG who's Yar'adua's relative

ADAMAWA STATE: Atiku vs Haruna; when Atiku became the vice president and he wanted to dictate leadership for Boni Haruna but the later resisted and served his people

GOMBE STATE: Goje vs. Dankwambo; after Goje worked hard for Dankwambo to succeed him to pilot the affairs of the state thinking is gonna be a smooth ride but his boy rebelled against his boss which till date they are not in good terms

AKWA IBOM STATE: Attah vs. Akpabio; Akpaboi who's the current Nigeria's senate president also had altercations with his former boss

AKWA IBOM STATE: Akpabio vs. Udom; Udom had dished out what Akpabio dished to Attah

ABIA STATE: Kalu vs. Orji; when Kalu wanted to remote-control Orji, but Orji almost killed the political career of Kalu in Abi State

ANAMBRA STATE: The Ubas vs Ngige; if Ngige is not a strong politician the Ubas could have messed him up in that state

EDO STATE: Oshiomhole vs Obaseki; Obaseki warned Oshiomhole that Edo State is not Lagos, immediately Oshiomhole behaved himself

RIVERS STATE: Ameachi vs Odili; Ameachi silenced Odili's political career in Rivers State

RIVERS STATE: Obj vs Ameachi; Ameachi defied Obasanjo's 'K leg' syndrome and became a governor

DELTA STATE: Uduaghan vs Okowa; when Okowa became governor citizens thought that Okowa would become a 'boy-boy' for the former, but Uduaghan was silent throughout the tenure of Okowa

RIVERS STATE: Wike vs Fubara; currently Fubara is on the final phase of sealing political domination of his predecessor

KADUNA STATE: El'Rufai vs Uba; Uba has already sent El'Rufai packing from the politics of Kaduna State and El'Rufai is on exile right now

KANO STATE: Kwankwaso vs Ganduje; unless it takes the intervention of God Ganduje has shredded the political career of his former boss

IMO STATE: Okorocha vs Uzodinma; Uzodinma has sentenced the political structure of Okorocha to life imprison

However, the case was different for some governors who tried to defy their godfathers orders and those governors received the greatest humiliation of their life/political careers

LAGOS STATE: Tinubu vs Ambode; Tinubu dealt with Ambode mercilessly to the extent that Tinubu forbade Ambode from succeeding for second term

LAGOS STATE: ...what was the circumstance that led to the elimination of Funsho Williams from the political arena of Lagos state?

LAGOS STATE: Tinubu vs Osinbanjo; Tinubu prevented Osinbanjo from succeeding Buhari

OYO STATE: Ibadan big boy vs Ladoja; when Rasheed Ladoja tried to challenge his godfather, Ladoja was humiliated with impeachment

OYO STATE:...what was the mystery behind the assassination of Bola Ige?

OGUN STATE: Obasanjo vs Osoba; Obasanjo allotted only one tenure for Osoba for trying to defy his orders

OGUN STATE: Obasanjo vs Bankole; Obasanjo vowed that in his life time, Bankole will never rule Ogun State and it's playing out

OSUN STATE: Aregbosola vs Oyetola; when the later dared the former, one term became his national anthem

KWARA STATE: Saraki (sr) vs Adesina; since godfatherism exists in that state, Lam Adesina served that state only one tenure, Saraki (sr) removed him and replaced him with Saraki (jn)

Distinguished ladies and gentlemen
Thank you all

Lam Adesina Kwara?

Education / Re: Which City Has The Highest Number Of Universities In Nigeria? by success1smyn(m): 12:34pm On Nov 21, 2023
IVORY2009:
The city with the highest number of universities in Nigeria is **Abeokuta** in Ogun State. Abeokuta has 8 universities, accounting for almost half (47%) of the total number of universities in the state. Here's a list of the universities in Abeokuta:

1. Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB)
2. Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU)
3. Moshood Abiola University of Science and Technology (MAUSTECH)
4. Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED)
5. Crescent University (CU)
6. Babcock University (BU)
7. Mountain Top University (MTU)
8. McPherson University (MU)

Abeokuta's concentration of universities can be attributed to several factors, including its strategic location, historical significance, and conducive environment for academic pursuits. The city is well-connected to major transportation hubs, making it accessible to students from across the country. Additionally, Abeokuta's rich cultural heritage and relatively peaceful atmosphere contribute to its appeal as a university town.

The presence of numerous universities has had a significant impact on Abeokuta's economy and social fabric. The influx of students and faculty has boosted local businesses and fostered a vibrant intellectual community. The city has also benefited from the contributions of these institutions in terms of research, innovation, and community engagement.

Overall, Abeokuta's position as the city with the highest number of universities in Nigeria reflects its commitment to education and its role as a hub for academic excellence in the country.

What's wrong with you, are Covenant, Babacork, OOU, TASUED, MCU, etc in Abeokuta?

I beg to disagree. Not everything is tribalism. Tribalism is allowing ethnic coloration to overrule common sense. This video clearly shows humanity transcends all of that petty tribal nonsense. But if you have laid your bed, then by all means, enjoy it 😎

You didn't get my point actually.
I know tribalism can't get us anywhere and I don't like People that are tribalist. I was only trying to show how far we are deep in tribalism, that's why I said we have not learnt anything from the video.

We cannot say we should hide in our homes to keep away from Police trouble. We just pray it doesn't happen to us as we go about our daily lives.

I watched this video with my Yoruba best friend. I'm Igbo by tribe. It took a man whose surname is similar sounding to his to condemn his right forelimb. It took an Igbo man to first let people know his situation and to direct him to where the world can hear his story.

Help can come from anywhere. I hope we are learning some important lessons.

No we are not learning anything as we can never learn in Nigeria. To us everything is tribalism. I am Yoruba, you ask me who I voted for in the last Election, I told you Tinubu and you accuse me of tribalism even when you (as Igbo) voted for Peter Obi, and you fail to see that more Yorubas voted for Obi than Igbos voted for Tinubu - why. I am not a tribalist and will never be. My choice is my choice and not out of tribalism. I supported Jonathan/Sambo and the Atiku/Obi ticket against the Buhari/Osinbajo because to me, they are the better candidates. To me, an Atiku will be a better option than Buhari, Peter Obi a better one than Atiku, Tinubu a better on to Peter Obi, Osinbajo a better one to Tinubu etc, if APC had not given their ticket to Tinubu or Osinbajo, I would likely vote for Peter Obi.
That's my choice and opinion not tribalism.

But I still wouldn't mind Yes Yes Yes, it will make sense to me....for anyone who goes to the extreme;;

If the government can acquire 160 million naira vehicles for lawmakers,,

Same for ministers and the record high number of aides and political appointees..

At such a time of unprecedented hunger, poverty, inflation, suffering...

Imagine buying fuel, gas and basic food materials at 500 percent increase!!!

Not this country but the government and it's officials.
Yes woe betide this government and it's officials, wish doom for these government officials.

Curse to this government.

Yes Yes Yes all day, 365 days a year and 366 a leap year.

Be rest assured Ministers and Aides will get theirs too, albeit codedly.

In the face of unprecedented hardship and poverty, Agbadorians who live in batcher houses and cannot afford one meal in a day would tell you;

*Let us join hands and pray and support this government.
*Now that Tinubu has won, let us wish the government well.
*Let us tighten our belt, it's not the fault of this present government.
*Giive the government a chance, they need time to fix the country.

Now will these make sense to you?

*Let us join hands and curse and oppose this government.
*Now that Tinubu has won, let us wish the government fail.
*Let us loosen our belt and live lavishly, it's the fault of this present government.
*Let's not give the government a chance, they don't need time to fix the country.
