Any pregnant mom here trying to register with lagoon hospital should please have a rethink o....that hospital is just functioning on past glory.
I registered with lagoon hospital (adeniyi Jones branch) since my pregnancy hit 16weeks up till now the test results are not out and I am 26weeks gone already.my fear and question is what if there's an underlying ailment one needs to treat asap These people are just toying with my life.
Getting a test done that faithful day was like trying to get my Visa done.....I waited over two hours before a lab scientist came to collect blood samples.
Getting a scan done nko The guy was acting like the hospital hasn't paid his salary for months, he was so reluctant to work n not to forget I spent another hours there before he attended to me.
*No routine drugs was given.
*They are so disorganized and slow.
*For over a month one of the nurses collected my number to enable her add me to the whatsapp group but I haven't seen anything from them.
*At 26weeks I haven't taken my first dose of anti malaria.
*I opt in for elective CS and at 26weeks we haven't settled/choosing a date.
My aim of sharing this with us is not to condemn lagoon hospital but to open our eyes n share with us my personal experience with the hospital and also to tell all preggy Mama's to always make serious research about any hospital they intend registering with.

Lagoon Adeniyi Jones was the No 3 hospital on my BS.
Until I left at 35weeks I didn't get added to that WhatsApp group which was supposed to be a replacement for antenatal classes...they're not doing classes anymore due covid so if you're a FTM you dont get lectures.

My experience wasn't as terrible as yours but I do think there's something going on with them.

Hello mamas how are we doing. Please I have a question. I have gone through 2CS already even though they were both emergency CS. But this time around I want to opt for the elective CS. Please I want to know how it feels being wheeled into the theater. I don't know why I am scared d two times I entered I was really in pains but this time around it's going to be a voluntary something. Another thing that's making me scared is dt some ppl say d anaesthesia they were given stopped working before d end of the stitching process. I never experienced this and I pray I don't. Please any body who has 3cs before? I kinda need to be encouraged.

When you do the elective you'd wish the first 2 were elective as well.
On anesthesia wearing off, since this is your third surgery adhesions are abound...so it'll take a little longer times to cut through the different layers during the surgery so it might take longer than the usual 30-45mins.
Speaking from experience as mine took longer and anesthesia was starting to wear off, I didn't feel any pain but the tugging just felt a little different..

Scan told us baby was 3.6kg but baby was 4.2kg at delivery and tall. All his cloths no enter am o. We have to start cloth shopping afresh They have tear tear my nyash finish. Baby came out blue and could not cry but thats been sorted now.

Good morning Mamas, does anyone know what could be the cause and possibly cure to this irritation on my baby’s body? I noticed it early December and I initially felt it’s the weather cause we stay in Abuja. It kept spreading and I had to complain to the doctor and she prescribed tribotan. I used it for 2 weeks and I saw no changes instead it kept spreading the more. I visited the hospital on Monday and another cream was prescribed, of which I was told to observe for 2 weeks. I’m currently using the cream but I’ll like to know if the cause could possibly be something I’m not doing right. I’ll really appreciate your inputs as it’s making me worry.
Also is it normal for baby’s poop to harden with time? She’s 4 months old and still on EBF, I wonder what makes her poop different from before and she poops every 3 days. Hope this isn’t out of the ordinary?



On another note, congratulations to all Mamas that have birthed their Lo’s, it’s been a while I visited here as vigilante has overwhelmed me coupled with the fact that I’m doing it alone with hubby. To all waddling Mamas, you’ll carry to term and birth your sweethearts, Amen. To all TTC’s Mamas, God will visit your homes this year and cries of babies will be heard in your homes, Amen.

When we had this the pediatrician prescribed lotion with high moisturising abilities (E45) and it cleared.

On advice from our Gyne, we had a cerclage done, after the surgery DW started noticing headaches when she moves her neck, we were advised to take paracetamol but the pain became unbearable after we got home, we had to go back to the hospital and she was admitted, her nausea and vomiting didn't help the situation. Doctors said it's a Spinal headache, from her moving her neck too soon after the surgery, so it caused a CSF leak, but after my own research the moving neck too soon theory is an old teaching, I don't know how common this is and what causes it but everyone agrees it generally subsides after 48 hours, still not sure what to do while waiting for the 48hrs.

For the spinal headache, caffeine helps. So either a cup of coffee or a chilled bottle of coke will help.
