The dr as me to BD that night and every other days.i was told to come back next two days .on getting there next two days the follicle is no longer there .and I didn't get pregnant. My husband is ok.just bothered. Has anyone experience this. What drugs were you given? You have to attack PCOS from all corners. RSAV: Good day mum's. My baby (girl), 3 weeks old, sleeps well during the day but cries most of the night. I think it's normal but my wife is getting worried. We make sure she's not hungry nor hot, change diaper, yet she cries almost every 30 mins throughout the night. What can we do to make her sleep well at night? At that age, they aren't expected to sleep throughout the night. She's still supposed to be fed every 2 hours (if on breastmilk only or 3hrs on formula). If she's fed and not hot due too many layers of clothing and you cuddle her and she's still crying uncontrollably, then it might be colic pain. Infacol an over the counter medication is recommended for colicky babies. |

MummyHalo: Plus formula but it's just about 60mls once in a day. Every other meal is breast milk. We have been feeding her with cup and spoon since morning. It seems like she cannot control her sucking reflexes. The little milk that gets into her mouth either from the breast or bottle spills out. Do you give water after formula? Hope you are giving the right measurements for formula? 2 level spoons for 60mls of water. |

izaray: Can a six months old also take PICCA pls? I'm giving my son Babyrex but seems not to be working for him Pediatricians have warned against giving children 'teething' medicine. It wasn't too long ago that 'my pikin' teething powder caused a lot of deaths. Teething is a natural phenomenon not an illness. If a baby is stooling, has fever etc whilst sprouting a tooth please take the child to the hospital to ascertain the cause. Here are some tips to help your baby feel better while teething: Use a clean finger (or cold teething ring) to gently rub your baby’s gum for about 2 minutes at a time. Many babies find this soothing, although they may protest at first. ⦁ Provide safe objects for your baby to chew on, such as teething rings. ⦁ If needed, give your baby an over-the-counter pain reliever e.g. Paracetamol that is labeled for his or her specific age. Read and follow all instructions. ⦁ Do not give aspirin to anyone younger than 20, because it has been linked to Reye syndrome, a rare but serious disease. |

MummyHalo: Hello mamas. My daughter would be 2weeks old tomorrow. She had been latching and sucking well up until early this morning. It suddenly seems like she can no longer latch or suck. The little milk that gets into her mouth runs out even when we bottle feed. She has been crying for food since morning. I'm so confused. Please help a first time mom. Exclusively breastfed or plus formula? |

Mandela89: yes he went to the lab for the semen analysis, he did it around 9am on Monday but the lab attendant later explained to us that she only collect samples but the real owner of the lab works at a general hospital so he came around 12 of same day to collect the sample to the lab at the govt hospital he work, am surprise because the lab result the sperm count decrease so much from 26million to 8million It's a waste of money. Next time go to a standard lab that can run the test themselves. The test is supposed to be done within 1hr of sample collection. >3hrs means the result is inaccurate. |

Mandela89: Good day house, please my husband did a semen analysis at a lab center around 9am but from the lab attendant her boss came to collect the sample around 12pm of same day to take to his lab for examination, my question is that hope the delay between the semen ejaculation and sample collection won't have an effect on the result I guess you mean your husband dropped his sample at 9am? Analysis should be done within 1hr of sample collection. |

So scared and confused When did you do the last scan that the doctor told you the fibroid was small and not causing issues? 11cm*9.6cm fibroid is really big and with all the symptoms you're having you're better off taking it out. |

Angel333: KY jelly is not good for ttc, it is written on the nody as well. Doctors in the uk advised not to use it while ttcing. Noted, thanks. I used a store brand water based lubricant while trying to conceive my second...just seeing its not recommended. I guess I was just lucky. |

Omorwumi: Someone should pls help me.i heard preseed fertility lubricant is not good.has anyone use it and got pregnant. Pls help Why did they say preseed is not good? Preseed is a water based lubricant and all water based lubricant are good during ttc cos they don't kill the sperm by acting like a spermicide. Preseed is good, just expensive because it comes with an applicator so you can apply it inside your vagina. KY jelly is inexpensive and will work too. |

The manual is tommee tippee brand (12k500) and electric is a chinko brand I bought on jumia for 6k. Personally I prefer using the manual cos I get more milk out and I can move around while pumping. |

Glowing1: Good evening mamas in d house. I started exclusive breastfeeding ystdy, it's been 3days my baby has not poo, as if thats not enough since today till now she hasn't pee, not even a aingle time. Now my mum is saying how will she pee when we don't give her water. Pls help me, cos I dont know if all is well with her This is a picture of breastmilk stored in the fridge. The thick whitish part on top is the fat and all the nutrients and water is below it. So, No you don't need to give water to an exclusively breastfed baby. EBF can either poo after every meal or go upto 2 weeks without pooing, it's normal. However, her not peeing might mean she's not getting enough milk. So what you should do is to get a breastpump to express milk. Breastfeed her then top it up with expressed milk. You have to eliminate the chatter..thank God its your own mother so she wouldn't feel slighted when you tell her to stop stressing you with the water issue..stress will affect your production.

joliefille: God did it.
Come April 2021, my marriage will be 5years. There have been so many diagnoses; low sperm count, high prolactin, endometritis, chocolate cyst and cervical stenosis. We tried IUI and God made it work. We are pregnant.
For high prolactin I used Dostinex I used herbs, foods and spices for cyst management Endometritis was sorted by hysteroscopy and curetage We did IUI to bypass the blocked cervix. Please do not give up. We will all carry our babies in our womb and our hand in Jesus name. Amen.
Shalom. Congratulations mama. Have a healthy and happy pregnancy and safe delivery when due. |

purplish: Mamas, I am travelling alone with my 6-week-old baby soon and I am very nervous. Its a local flight, 1 hour max, plus additional 2hr+ trips to/from the airports. Does anyone have tips to share eg. how to pack essentials but pack light, go through airport security with some milk, protect my baby's ears from plane noise and keep her calm throughout? Thanks in advance! Travelling alone with a baby can be a bit stressful sometimes but being prepared helps reduce the stress. Packing: you'd check in the bag containing your lotions etc but make sure you pack all baby essentials in a carry on. Diaper/wipes/clothes to last you a whole day (just in case the airline delays your checked-in baggage) Milk: you can carry milk in those storage bags that has an ice pack..Nigerian aviation security people can be silly sometimes, don't let them bully you into believing you can't carry milk onto the plane. Plane noise..isn't really a problem for a 1hr flight..however you should be more concerned about pressure changes during climbing and descending and the effects on ear drums...if she sleeps through those phases it wouldn't be a problem but if she's awake and starts becoming cranky and crying it means the pressure change is affecting her ears. Sucking on something(breast/pacifier/bottle) will relieve the pain. Put your baby in a carrier so your hands are free for the journey especially the check-in and boarding process. You don't have to remove the carrier to go through security. You'd need an ID/means to show your baby's birth date for check-in. Hope you indicated you're travelling with an Infant on the ticket? |

Joshua62: Good morning to all mothers in the house.
My 2 months old son has this recurring pus boils on his face..not big boils..small about 5 boils. What can we use to clear off the boil.
Best regards Boils are usually a sign of bacterial infection (according to pediatricians) See a doctor for drug prescription. Always ensure anyone handling the baby washes their hands before touching him. |

shithapuns: ok, we give fruit pureee as well. Baby Shows interest when we give adult food, mashed rice, swallow etc...
What of the formular, you still add it to the blended adult food?, Learnt they need the nutrients in formular for proper development. You can keep adding the formula/breastmilk to foods that it'll go with...like fruits (avocado, banana etc). But you can also just offer them the milk when you feed stuff like amala. I'm assuming your baby has gone pass the stage of purees, right? |

We wanted to do rhat, and someone adviced that salt and pepper isnt good for babies under 1yr and cooking specially for them without those ingredients is time consuming, for now we hive Tom brown & mis with formular Only tombrown and formular? pls give your baby varieties naw.... You can have a separate stew for baby that you can mix with okro or ewedu for amala. Stew with mashed rice/sweet potatoes/beans... |

mayornmn: Oh wow! Thank you so much Uwc. Forgot to add; on point 3, if you eat a balanced meal and take lots of water and feed/pump very often your supply will increase...except there's a hormonal imbalance issue. Also, if possible get a hand pump that you can carry around incase you get stuck somewhere and your boobies starts leaking. |
