msoloye.. ..a solution to your problem 'might' be applying for a Canadian visa. There you have the healthcare you need and your husband can be with you too. |

Pwhitelaw: thanks for your quick response. you I mean I should tell them I lied saying am married.because I want to reapply using my real status. Well, your other option would be providing your wife and 10month old twins and applying with them as a family for the vacation..... Admitting to the lie might be an easier task. But then again, what was the reason for the refusal as stated on the paper given to you? |

Liftefhands...dont rush it. Forgiveness would come, though it might take a while but you would forgive him. And when you forgive him you would forget the other woman..she would cease to exist. Right now you need to focus on how to forgive him and make him build back your trust for him. If you need to see a counsellor, please do. But don't beat yourself up if you are not forgetting the whole incidence as fast as you would want to. May God restore all that is lost in your marriage. |

XX01: I wasn't fast enough. Couldn't process the form A on time and it was my fault. I hadn't quite decided what hospital to use. By the time, I made up my mind, it was too late. Will check ticket prices around August/September to see if I made a gain or a loss. Ouch! Hopefully by then the dollar would have settled sha and summer over. |

nefertitiram: Lolz! abi... Bt d process is shorter and easier than it is from 9ja whr its 52 working days of hypertension. Plan it well sha! When nxt u r in US add 1mth of waiting time to apply. I hear Niagara is a beauty to behold Oh yes it is a beauty especially from the Canadian side. We settled for a maid of the mist boat ride and got the Canadian view at our second visit. Do you still get the regular 5year Canadian visa when you apply from US? I wouldn't mind applying o |

nefertitiram: Who said?
Crossing to canada frm US is a piece of cake. Easier that blinking. All you need is to be stamped into US for 6mths, apply frm NY or California, go for biometrics, wait 3 to 4 weeks and u could b crossing land border frm NY to Niagara falls.
Thank me later Torr! What you just described is not 'just like that' na ....at least she would still need to apply for Canadian visa and her entry would be documented. I have tried to cross to the other side to get a better view of the falls but was told id need a visa. So I know you can't just go across the bridge with a US visa. |

ekoboy: I guess the VO is not convinced of your reason for this travel. I believe she would have been happier to hear that your husband will join you from Canada. This people just want your travel reason to make sense. Seriously why would you want to go to Orlando with your baby( how old is baby by the way) alone. Who will help you hold the baby while you are on a roller coaster. If you really want to travel out of Nigeria on vacation why not to Canada where your husband is. @bolded, why are you playing judge jury and executioner? What is wrong in taking a child to orlando? Did someone tell you its only roller coasters they have in the whole of Orlando? You should have at least waited to hear how old the baby is before jumping to conclusions. The only reason I might not want to take a less than 1yr old child to the 'theme parks' is cos the child would not remember it later , but would the child have fun? Hell yes!!! Who would help her hold the baby? That is on the assumption that the main purpose of her trip is to ride roller coaster or visit theme parks? |

Iwanawana: Infact nne the thing tire me biko. I felt pity for the poor woman only for him to come and pull 'what I think the vo is thinking' on her when you are not a vo and can't possibly know what they are thinking. The vo probably had other reason I believe for the refusal. And by d way is it even possible for someone to be studying in a country like Canada illegally? Even in Nigeria, a foreigner can't study here illegally, you must show a proof that u re atleast not here illegally before any school would enrol u bar d corrupt ones. Yea, the ties the VO is referring to might have just being cos of her biz, and I don't think the bolded is possible. And its not even like she can cross over to canada just like that. |

MamaOO: Sugah ma, Muslims don't name children on the first day oo. We do it on the eight day just like the Yoruba traditions. I'm Yoruba and Muslim. Hubby is Christian tho, but he's insisting we will have a naming ceremony even though we live in the US. I'd love to avoid it altogether. Yoruba parents usuall know the name of the child and if you live in the US it's already on the birth certificate, but they usually don't reveal the name of the baby until the 8th day naming or prayers whatever the case might be. I'm still debating if I'm gonna shave his head or not Sha. Still undecided. Noted on the 8th day for muslims.... but please tell me the head shaving is an islamic thing? Cos na Mohawk my pikin go carry |
