safarigirl: She should have called the cops on him.
What a jobless he-goat!
They carry that their useless, caveman behavior abroad and start harassing innocent people on the road. Why didn't he try that nonsense with a white girl? Make dem deport am, or turn am to hashtag. Scoundrel
I bet she is an illegal alien, calling the cop is a one way ticket back to Edo state.
Vanzcharles: This was the same set of people against the previous administration on the removal of fuel subsidy. They used the gullible Nigerians like to believe in the incompetency of the administration.
Now they are in power the Dom see am na.. All they know how to do was criticize and compare that they were no more long queues. But when Jonathan wanted to provide solution they kicked against it then.
If you like support them that wan consign una, because you just hated them so you've made up yourins to justify anything.
Good Riddance!!! If only this subsidy had been removed, we would have been 7 years ahead if this problem something that would have been removed since 2012.. Now we are in 2020 Nigeria which way forward?
Why didn't GEJ remove oil subsidies? What stop him, he was the president and his cabinet backed the removal of oil subsidies.
Racoon: "Subsidy is a fraud."-Buhari.Now they have looted so much that they cant sustain the fraudulent subsidy regime again abi? However, when the previous govt wants to jettison this corruption, they politicized it and protested in Ojota.Today nko?
The previous coward government under GEJ should have removed subsidies.
GEJ , Financial Minister (Iwealla), CBN governor (Sanusi) and his Petroleum Minister ( Diezani Alison-Madueke) all elected to remove the oil subsidies during the debate in 2012 but the useless and weak GEJ decided against their better judgement.
jayjaycee0: When was the last time you saw a Ghanaian littering the streets of Nigeria. You shut your borders on them. killing their own SMEs as most depend on Nigeria market to break even, they increased their capital base for business start up, you re here shouting brotherliness... Gbaja head is not correct. Be the first brother by opening up your borders
What has Nigeria border got to do with trading with Ghana. The border was closed for security reasons. Now all borders are closed due to Covid-19.
BTW I am aligned with the Ghanaian government, Nigerian traders must return to Nigeria and Ghana traders but leave Nigeria.
fergie001: So.....does that landmass not produce anything?
It can be an advantage if it is put into good use...
Northern Nigerians governors are getting useless everyday, instead of using their large landmass to develop tourism and agriculture production they will rather depend on allocation and sharing oil money.
You did nothing wrong, however in future don't buy anything from informal traders especially alaba market.
Majority of those shopowners are crooks and scammers. Buy your electronic products from authorise reseller, it might be expensive but you will have peace of mind and warranty.
MrALIVE: All my life I have never been tribalistic...i preach against it,I teach against it....but to be sincere with you all,The problem of this country was created by some northern elements...and without mincing word, the North is still the reason why this country has retrogressed over the years.
There is nothing wrong believing and protecting your tribe.
Igbochief001: serious steel business is no business china has killed the business ....
best thing is to have duty free steel import so that companies can import steel as raw materials and use them to produce things ....that's why I look at Nigerians fighting for ajokuta
China has killed steel industry completely
The Chinese haven't killed the steel industry, South Korea and India have thriving steel industries.
I agree that the Ajaokuta is a pipe dream due to the fact that large scale steel complex are relic of the first industrial revolution and depend entirely on expensive supply chain that are beyond Nigeria operational capabilities.
simpleseyi: I thought you people ae more civilized than the Hausa/Fulanis that have been ruling you for decades, why then are you scared of a parallel Association? The Nigeria Labour Congress has a parallel association named Trade Union Congress. There is NURTW and ther is a parrallel RTWEAN. Whya re scared on NNBA. DOn't be scared, common face your fears.
Why stop there, let's have a parallel country . A separated North and South. Don't be scared
AnanseK: But the whole NBA is a fraud, the executives came through a fraudulent election and immediately started a divisive double standard administration. The Mature lawyer body mainly from the SW should not accommodate this fraudulent IPOB infested divisive NBA.
That tribalist and land grabber called El-Rufai deserves to be sanction.
This is why Nigeria must reform the police. Shouldn't the useless IGP be enforcing the law by arresting criminal politician.
The Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, has raised the alarm over the ongoing arming and movement of thugs by politicians in preparation for the governorship elections in Edo and Ondo states.
BotherMleeper: And this is the story of southern kaduna.
The barbaric natives do not desire peace, quietly killing innocent people out and about their business.
And when they victims retaliate, the hypocritical christendom will rise in arms screaming blue murder and fictional genocide.
Just look at how these charlatan christians are supporting this killing, but their tune will change if it's the other way round.
That's why nigerian christianity is in tatters. God abhors hypocrisy.
Maybe the "civilised" Fulani should stop travelling to the lands of the Barbarian.
Fulani's are the only "civilised" race fighting wars in Mali, Nigeria, Guinea and CAR. Is there something wrong with Fulani's "civilisation" that they are always at war with "Bababric" Native Black Africans
olisaEze: The write up says a group that supports the election loser has made threats to breakaway and form their own because the SW has majority, they never said they’ll follow the North. Which kind slave mentality u dey try impose on SW’ern lawyers?
Abeg ask them oo
The threat is about alleged fraud within NBA and nothing about supporting Northern interest.
In protesting the outcome of the just-concluded election of the association, South West Lawyers’ Forum known as Egbe Amofin, unequivocally said it would likely lead its members elsewhere, if the election that produced new president, Olumide Akpata, is not voided.
In a letter to the Trustees of the association, Egbe Amofin, which supported the candidacy of Deacon Dele Adesina, SAN, alleged electoral fraud and demanded wholesale cancellation of the election.
Skynet45: It should have been confiscated a long time ago. Death penalty should be imposed on those who stole this country wealth. He's a close friend of the wayas. A modern hospital can be built with two million dollars. That money would be enough to build over 50 , Nigeria is cursed with bad leaders.
Nigeria is cursed with bad people.
The same people that are singing his praise will tell you that Ibori trying.
They will start with "What about the Yoruba's or Hausa's governors why aren't you prosecuting them"
Nigerians can now understand why large establishment like Dangote prefer to employ Indian technician. The average Nigerians student cannot be bother to work hard and pass an exam.
What use is the new young Nigerians beyond being a pump attendant or cattle herder.
One4me: You are correct but the problem with the "Northernern Fulanis" is that they dont know, they dont want to know and they wont allow those who know to teach them! How will or can anyone one assist such backward and violent lot? Best thing and this is what l think would happen eventually: Nigeria will breakup in a violent civil war, very soon! The current status where Fulanis just kill people anyhow, cannot be sustained for long anymore, the Fulanis and everyone knows this.
Most especially, Buhari knows this and that is why he is rapidly empowering his people with Military and Police formations, that is why he is disarming Southerners and Christian groups while turning a blind eye to the acquisition and use of weapons by Northerners, Fulanis especially. That is why Buhari is aligning with Fulanis in Mali, Senegal and Guinea in particular, to create a regional force that can be called upon, when the shit hits the fan. You would wonder why he had dashed over One Million Dollars of Nigeria's money, wealth mostly from Southern Nigeria, to support democracy" in Guinea?
I just hope Southern Leaders are not too timid and too selfish (or even back-stabbing, like OBJ) to plan and defend their Region or build up/develop their own region when they get to Power. These Fulanis want to revive slavery in the 21st century and they mean business.
I think the South is fully aware of Sanusi , El-Rufai and Buhari political and military agenda, that's why regional security agencies are being created and request for state police is on the agenda across the South.
The problem is that the Fulani's will always lose in the end, they were thrown out of CAR , they are being killed in B Faso and Mali and have lost all their political leverage in both countries as they now aligned themselves with terrorist groups.
In Guinea , despite being the largest ethnic block in that country (40%), they have been checked mate by a collision of minority groups that would rather support, the corrupt incumbent president rather than a Fulani president.
The problem is that the Southern leaders need to focus on economic empowerment and capacity development, there is no excuses for the rampant corruption in the Southern and North Central states.
Economic empowerment will always defeat political power since an army cannot operate on an empty stomach.
Until they deal with the root causes of the conflicts: Fulani culture of migration and cattle herdering, environmental degradation and deforestation in the Sahel and extreme poverty and illiteracy across the Sahel, nothing will change.
Due to very low adult literacy levels in the Sahel and Northern Nigeria, it is very unlikely that the economies in that region will grow sustainably in the short-to-medium term.
