GLeesMODEL: Coronavirus: National Tension As Photos Of Abba Kyari, Ganduje, Masari, Dangote, Others At IGP Son's Wedding Recently Surfaces!!
Abdullahi Ganduje, governor of Kano state, Abba Kyari chief of staff to President Muhammadu Buhari; Aliko Dangote, billionaire businessman; and Aminu Masari, governor of Katsina state were among those who attended the wedding fatiha of Hassan, son of Muhammad Adamu, inspector general of police.
Hassan married Summayya Goje, his fiancé on Saturday, 14th ( 10 Days Ago) in Abuja with most of the prominent personalities in Nigerian politics and business scene, gracing the occasion.
Kyari had travelled to Germany on Saturday, March 7th to meet with officials of Siemens in Munich on the Nigerian electricity expansion programme.
He returned exactly one week later on Saturday, March 14th, but did not show any symptoms.
Abba Kyari health confirmation comes hours after it was reported that Kyari was seriously ill and suspected of having Coronavirus after returning from trips to Germany and Egypt where the virus had killed dozens of persons
Subsequently, he voluntarily submitted himself for testing and was informed of his status yesterday.
Kyari has however gone into absolute isolation following the test result As far back as February 2020, the WHO said no public gathering, ban foreign travelling. If the so-called leaders cannot obey the law what do you expect from the people? |

Continue to believe in an illusion, did the fall in the oil price to $10 in the 1990s deliver any change in the oil industry? Self-interest is Nigeria's downfall, the country borders and airports should have been closed down last month but the Buhari government kept it open just enough for their families to return and spread the disease. |

Ogegeodey: Commence production Asap.
See the advantage of having local production? In this critical time no country will be willing to sell to anybody cos they need it themselves. Encourage local manufacturing our govt will not listen.
Imagine that we have three of innoson factories.
Nigerians are truly proud of you IVM. Seriously, what technical components does Innoson produce, he assembles automobiles from completed components. Even European car manufacturers will struggle to build ventilators , but at least they have access to a supply chain environment that can source the supplies, while they focus on assembly and production. It's not beyond Innoson capabilities, but I will suggest he focus on preventive items such as face mask, gloves, respirators types of equipment. The lack of local industrial capabilities will be Nigeria's downfall, the country can't even produce masks or rubber gloves. Ford on Tuesday said it was working with GE Healthcare and 3M, another health industry manufacturer, to design modified respirators and ventilators, which could be produced using fans, batteries and other parts that Ford typically uses for its cars
On Monday, Fiat began converting one of its car plants in China to start making about one million masks a month

This is what happens when a government places self-interest above national interest.
The majority of Nigeria's FX is wasted on importing fuel, iron, steel, Bitumen, and food. Any simple government can easily repair the refineries, fix the steel plant, develop the Bitumen deposit and increase food production instead of wasting valuable FX paying inflated contracts to the middle east and Chinese expertise and import, but for whatever reason the Nigerian elites preference is self-interest at the expense of national interest.
Nigeria elites will continue exploiting the country, first oil when that runs out, pension and national assets and finally back to selling slaves. We need to take the country back before it's too late. |

They may be Currency manipulators but they are the 2nd biggest economy in the world
Economic analyst are no different from those lotto players all na guess work Typical Nigerian, ignored the real elephant in the room to attack the messenger. The Elephant in the room: The reason -- Nigeria’s import dependent economy has seen inflation accelerate to a 22-month high in February and could rise even faster if the currency weakens. Despite being oil rich, the West African nation imports almost 100% of its gasoline due to mismanagement of its domestic refineries. The fuel is then sold at subsidized prices to Nigerians. A weaker naira would raise the cost of those subsidies, which already consumes a chunk of government revenues at almost $2 billion a year The Nigeria government still t place high duties on the importation of machinery and spare parts required to operate manufacturing plants. The four refineries are still not working despite Buhari being the Petroleum Minister. |

Politics › Re: Why We Can’t Sell Petrol At 125/litre – Marketers by sulaak(m): 4:21pm On Mar 20, 2020 |
TylerDurden: sharap zombie.
NNPC never removed subsidy. They only made accommodations for the naira's devaluation from 197 to 360.
Buhari is still paying subsidy which they are calling ''under recovery''.
And FYI, NNPC is claiming that they are supplying 50 million litres per day.
This has seen the subsidy payment well over a trillion naira annually despite the fact that Nigerians can barely afford to fill their tanks.
The level of wicked and heartless looting and corruption going on in this govt is mind-boggling.
Only NNPC now imports fuel as most marketers can not afford to import owing to Federal govt policy on refusing them access to forex.
All marketers now buy from NNPC.
The NNPC then inflates the amount it sells to marketers and from there loot double in the form of increased subsidy payments to themselves and reconciling sale of non-existing fuel. During the recent CBN summit on Growth 2.0, Dangote said that Nigeria spent $49 billion on import, I was confused. What are we importing? it now obvious that the government has continue to subsidies fuel import. So who are they paying the subsidies to? |

This your solution is as good as asking government to build sufficient and well equipped hospitals across the country in 4 weeks. My grouse is that these churches are basically large scale enterprise selling religion to the vulnerable for a profit. Each room can take minimum of 3 hospital beds. That is already more than 7,500 beds from these 4 hotels alone. I am very certain the owners will surrender them to government free of charge for humanitarian purpose just like we expect the churches to do. Hotel's are businesses, Churches are supposed to be charity. The churches are the best facilities for hosting emergency hospital. |
