mmyfarmsltd: There's a ministry on agriculture in every LGA area. Tractors are given to this ministries and not individual farmers. It is a good idea from the government. The Ministry of Agriculture is the problem and not the farmers, transferring the tractors to government officials is not helpful, but I am more concerned with the supply chain on maintaining those tractors. |

Bigii: 10,000 -:- 774 = 12+ Tractors
Will they use the formula above? CAPITAL NO!
Instead you would see 7000 tractors goes to Kano, Katstina, Jigawa, Kaduna, then, the rest of the "one Nigeria" can happily share 3000 tractors with a big thank you Buhari
Tueh! I have no problem handing 7000 tractors to the North they have more land and farmers. The problem is that the majority of the tractors will end up with the large families of Northerner elites and politicians at the expense of the real farmers that need them. The Northern elites will now hire out the tractors at exorbitant rates to the impoverished farmers. |

FG set to commission Ajaokuta-Itakpe-Warri Railway - BUHARI has done it.
FG set to commission Lagos-Ibadan Expressway - BUHARI has done about 75% work which PDP could not do for 16 years.
FG set to commission Lagos-Abeokuta-Ibadan Railway - BUHARI has done it to about 80%, PDP never dreamt if it. The Buhari completed all the above based on $25 billion debt over the last 5 years and another $29 billion by the end of this years. Do you think the sum total of the projects that you listed amount to the sum total of $55 billion. Before you shout PDP! I also believe the previous government must be investigated for the $63 billion debt that the accumulated in 16 years! |

Why give tractors to farmers that can't maintain them, the country is creating jobs for other countries, in this case, Brazil by spending billions of dollars importing tractors and supplying them to the unskilled farmers. Why not build an assembly plant in collaboration with the Brazillian tractor manufacturers and assemble tractors that will be hired out to farmers for a fee. |

How in God's name did that happen? Many of the educated youths were not born during Buhari's first stint at power but how did those who witnessed his ineptitude and bare-faced bigotry first hand still vote this man? Those are the people who will forever shoulder the blame for this disastrous government. They knowingly cut their nose just to spite their face. They weren't hoodwinked by Buhari, GEJ was a shocking and hopeless leader, under his useless government Nigeria managed to increase it's debt's to $60 billion, wipe out its foreign exchange reserve from $68 billion to $29 billion and watched as Boko Haram ran riot across Northern Nigeria with limited strategic response. GEJ should have taken on the Northern Nigerian political agenda that were undermining his government and use his executive powers to introduce restructuring at the security level, instead, he spent his last year sucking up to the like of Miyatti Allah and El Rufai investing in large scale infrastructures projects in the North at the expense of his communities in the SS. Nigerian had two choices between Buhari or GEJ, I decided not to vote, having experienced Buhari hopeless leadership in the 1980s, but the lack of political optioned forced many Nigerian to regrettable elect Buhari in 2015. The Buhari's regime has exacerbated GEJ incompetence by increasing the debt profile to $90 billion within four years, paid lip services to the high-level insecurity across the country and managed to alienate our Western partners. |

Good initiative, but Dr Olusola Ayoola, needs to provide information on how Nigerian business can develop a business relationship with Western companies, the business engagement process can be quite complex and expensive, for example, the Western company will expect that an indemnity insurance cover and contract will be in place to protect their business relationship.
The best option is for Nigerian businesses to engage with Nigerian working in the technology space in the West and let them be the face of your business. |

LabDNA: 2015 election where you voted them made them invincible. They now control all the military and paramilitary formations, they control the armory and weapons. They will never let power go out of their hands in 2023.
If a war breaks out, you'll need the support of a higher power like the US or Isreal to defeat them. Trump already sees the leadership of Nigeria as Islamic terrorist sympathizer, that was why he placed Nigeria on a ban and that's why muslims in Nigeria hates him.
I pray he wins a second tenure, so that if the muslim fulani starts their nonsense, Nigerian Christians can easily appeal for American support. Most Republicans are rabidly anti-Islam. The Fulani's also controlled all arms of government in CAR, but were still defeated and kicked out of the country. The history of Fulani's domination has been through cooperation and cohesion of the host communities as in Guinea- Bussia, Gambia, Nigeria and Senegal. Fulani are brilliant in exploit the greed and ambition of the host communities, Gowon was the acceptable face of government from the North that Awolowo could tolerate and work with. Tafawa Balewa working on behalf of Amadou Bello, was able to strike up a political relationship with Zik to disrupt and weaken the South West. The secret to ending Fulani's domination in Nigeria is the cooperation between the two most powerful nations in Nigeria, the Yoruba's and Igbo's. Both ethnic groups will have to dampen their political ambition for a minority ethnic group from the South-South or Middlebelt (Christain). The next president will have to come from one of those two regions with the Yoruba's and Igbo's working behind the throne. The Yoruba's and Igbo's must work together or else there will be no Nigeria left by 2030. |

Freedom House found in 2018 that in Nigeria, civil liberties such as the freedoms of speech, of expression, and press freedom are "limited by laws on sedition, criminal defamation, and publication of false news."Reporters without Bordersranks Nigeria 120 out of 180 countries its 2019 report: "journalists are often threatened, subjected to physical violence or denied access to information by government officials, police and sometimes the public itself."
NGOs have condemned controversial legislation on hate speech in Nigeria. The proposed law would punish hate speech with fines and jail depending on the severity of the crime, in cases where targets of hate speech are killed, the author could face the death penalty.
The bill recieved a strong rebuke from the Economic Community of West African States which ruled the proposed legislation fell foul not only of Universal Declaration of Human Rights but also of the Nigerian Constitution.
The information minister insisted the bill was put forward by members of parliament and said that if his president blocked it he could be accused of dictatorship.

However the government approach is wrong.
First they should consider the social consequences of this so called "restriction".
These bikes and Kekes are a business, Micro Finance banks (who pay taxes to government and employ Lagosians ) have invested heavily in this mode of transportation. How do we expect them to recover?
If the government decides to ban, why can't they give the operators some time. 6-8 months notice is not a bad idea.
Then every party involved will have time to plan an exit strategy.
If you take away a mans means of livelihood how do you expect him to survive? The government approach is correct! It's the Lagosian approach that is wrong, they continue to support the like of Tinubu and his cohort that have capture the revenues of the states for their self-interest, what kind of people in a "democracy" will tolerate the state of Lagos roads, the lack of mass transit infrastructures and not protest on the street. |
