Here is a thought. 13.1 million people did not vote for APC, out of the 21 m who did vote.

If those 13.1 million people had voted for one party, APC would have been voted out. But because they voted for 3 different parties, the votes got divided, and APC won the election.

The truth is, APC lost this election. Most Nigerians did not vote for them, nor do they like them. But they won because Atiku and Peter Obi and Kwankwaso and Wike could not at the very least compromise with each other.

That is the sad cold truth. A disunited opposition loses the election.

Like I said, APC did not win this election, the opposition lost it.

The question is what happened to the 94 millions that registered to vote?

Whatever we are practising in Nigeria is not democracy, if 94 million are registered to vote and 21 million are counted

Something is wrong if only 91 people caste their vote after 700 people registered.

The total number of registered voters at the polling unit was 693. But only 91 voters turned out while 10 ballot papers were voided.

How many indigenous Yoruba are from Lagos? Mind you Lagos is traditionally multi ethnic comparable to Rivers State or Delta State. Okowa the present Governor of Delta is from the Igbo part and Wike the present Governor of Rivers is from the Ikwerre part which of course is Igbo subgroup like Awori in Lagos. What has been happening in Lagos is that Yorubas from Ogun and Osun are in control of the politics instead of the real natives just like it was in Rivers State before the Biafran war prompted federal intervention prohibiting Igbos from Imo, Abia and Anambra from holding or participating in political processes in Rivers State . If that was the case people like Tinubu, Fashola and others have no business ruling Lagos , installing traditional rulers and even barring a real native like Ambode from seeking reelection.

Rubbish, My mother was from Ikorodu and my father was an indigenous Lagosian that was moved to Ita Okani in Epe (Lagos ) during the development of Lagos Marina. We exist and have no problem with our Yoruba brothers and sister exercising political and economic control over Lagos because we share the share values and culture with our Yoruba brethren.

The biggest supporters of Obi in the SW today are the Yorubas and if the Yorubas don't accept Òbí, he might have to struggle for sectional votes like Atiku would struggle in the next election.

Not every Igbo is supporting Obi why then should you crucify Yorubas as being tribalistic because some Yorubas are against Obi?

You are talking about Formal Education,and this is higher above Vocational Education wherever the certificates are favoured above actual skill practicable education.

If not for the North,your IQ average would be lowest in the World and if not for the South,Nigeria would be in the same place as Germany when it comes to IQ.

Once Nigeria hug investing in Vocational schools and favour trainings above theories,Nigeria would be Germany and China of the world.

If you have read the post, it states the 10 most educated countries in the world " 25 - 64-year-olds having completed tertiary education" .

Southern Nigeria has a high literacy rate of 80%, but that doesn't correspond to a high rate of tertiary education. The average tertiary education across Nigeria is 12% the average literacy rate in Nigeria is 60%. So I assume tertiary education in the Southern will be significantly low.

By the way, if not for Northern Nigeria, Nigeria would have been far ahead of most of these above-mentioned countries in primary and secondary education.

As much as I hate APC and Tinubu, changing the currency within three months will always be a disaster if you have a country with 60% of the population without a bank account.

Vote buying is a symptom of failed government policies. Had Buhari and the previous government doing their job and improved financial inclusion across the country, we wouldn't have this problem.

Let me give you a good example.

MY secondary school GSSkuje is a govt school with Ssubsidized school fees.
As at 2011 during my ss2 days, we paid 12k as school fees for boarding. We were fed at least an average size of meal 3times daily. In some situation, there's are excess of food and we go for double ration. In very rare occasion food doesn't reach everybody. It can happen atmost 5times a term.
As at then we were 44 in class (commercial class), while A class which is science had the most 55.
Learning was easier and effective.
Last year I visited the school and its been divided into 2 sessions.
Morning and evening. The science class had about 100students. Learning is now more difficulty.
Ask yourself why is it like this?

The school fees is less than 15k. More classes has been built compared to when I was there.
But now the school is a shadow of it former self.
If my father who had three boys and pays his task sent two of his three children to a Ssubsidized govt school, is it fair with mr Bongo (name was modified not to offend anyone) who has 17 children and manages to send 9 to the sane govt school.

Subsidy that's meant for us all. Only 1 man sent 9 children to benefit from.

If nobody talks about our ever increasing population with this our hate attitude of improving our personal productivity we would never get anywhere.
Politicians would only try no matter how Good they are but it'll end in shabbles.

In the 90s there were less amount of Lea schools but then education was effective.
Our leaders have increased the number of schools compared to the 90s but education is very ineffective.
The leaders have fulfilled their campaign promises of building more schools but has the masses fulfilled its?
Nigeria ain't China and we don't have as much brains as China, we better cut our coat to our sizes.

I like how you linked Nigerian population growth as personal responsibility, but shouldn't the political elites be implementing policies on population control. China impose population controls, Nigeria can provide incentive for small families.
