Lets apply it to one of the comments: 'He is not active in class.' First of all, this comment is ridiculous. Is the child a statue? Of course, NO. Why don't you rather comment that she should get involved more in class group tasks by ...' Another comment is the 'she is rude and not respectful.' That looks more like a label. 'be more respectful' would suffice. On the other and you can add specifics such as 'he ones refused to stop humming during a class, however, we are hopeful that he'll begin to respect others' spaces... Another thing is that parents want to feel that their children are being raised to be better. They are not playing the ostrich. They are not unaware that their children are not saints. Don't leave them feeling hopeless with a tactless comment. Don't forget that most of this issues ought to have been sorted out before now. Why are all of them on the report card?
