Smallville10:This made me laugh . @OP I like her spirit and worldviews about life. She'll get back on her feet soon. |
dearpreye:It is very painful. The Nigerian state as it is today is setup to breed distrust, jealousy and hatred even amongst brothers. The pattern of giving monthly allocations to everybody has turned the country to a zoo. We no longer know who our foes are and who our brothers are. You can clearly see barcanista cheering gleefully about the Niger Delta receiving 13 percent derivation and further begging for an increase to 25 percent. Meanwhile the value of Ijaw wealth that has been lost over the past 40 years is over 500 billion dollars and if you add the opportunity cost of environmental degradation and societal decay foisted upon everybody by the Nigerian state, it goes even higher. Preye, I don't know if your kinsmen know, that the most critical problem facing the world today is not terrorism or insecurity but of poverty and socioeconomic development. Your kinsmen have instant wealth and economic development under their mouths but they can't eat it because their mouths have been shut by the country you were all roped in. Tell your kinsmen to WAKE UP! Nigeria kills faster than Cancer. |
This is 2015, colonization has officially ended decades ago. The south east is only seeking a socioeconomic and political partnership with their sisters in the south south and nothing else. It is only a foool who would believe or think that the Igbos are bent or planning on "colonizing" the south south. How is that even possible? The defunct eastern region (which included the present south south) used to be one of the fastest developing regions in the world back in the 60s. We can still achieve this feat if we come together for a greater good and discard this failed project called Nigeria. We can build a country that could be the envy of the african continent only if can come together for that purpose. |
While the president is the grand patron of Fulani herdsmen in Nigeria. He has never ever tried to plead with his kinsmen to thread with caution and eschew violence |
We saw a peaceful general election last year in which, for the first time in Nigeria’s history, there was a democratic transition between two civilian governmentsHuh? Is she smoking a blend of Daura weed? |
No be only Obasanjo, Saka is the greatest Nigerian alive. This Ladoja is a clown, no wonder Adedibu kicked him out |
In 1985 he was importing suitcases filled with cash, today, he is importing luxury vehicles. |
In as much as I love Azikiwe, I feel he made a costly mistake by not forming a southern government with Awo. Azikiwe's romance with the North was a big error. |
Look at what Northerners have brought upon themselves. Evil of the highest degree. |
Nonsense |
Her breast Na die |
LiarsLiars, they'll only manage the African transponders. Terrible liars |
Isn't that Henry Boyo? |
The budget office will provide that later. If they don't in about 2 months time, that means they're trying to hide critical information from the public and you know what that means.. |
Terrible stuff. And what makes it worse is that nobody cares. The plight of the izon nation makes me feel bad. The ijaws need to wake up, seriously. |
I see corruption all over this budget |
Chidinma looks like a younger onyeka. |
This Lai Mohammed of a man disgusts the hell out of me. This was the same person who rode on the back of Boko Haram to fiercely castigate the previous government and accuse them of ineptitude all over the media. He now wants the media to keep quiet over Boko Haram attacks for the sake of National Interest. So the media should be silent if citizens of the country are being terrorized by insurgents? |
Banks still won't lend you any money if you have no credit history or if you're not connected. Let's stop deceiving ourselves. Access to finance is not the most critical problem facing startups, having a viable, feasible, flexible, and bankable business plan is the first step. Most Nigerian startups have no solid business plans and proposals to back them up. So, at the end of the day, the MSME funds from the CBN will go majorly to existing businesses because they generally lower risk profiles. |
Buhari has a plan to finally destroy Nigeria before he dies |
Buhari is a scam |
MTN should not dare pay that fine. It is stupid and outrageous. |
idu1:We should also wait for sixteen years abi? |
[quote author=RockMaxi post=41234023] What is our problem in this country? We are the same set of people asking the govt to repair, now they have done that we are still shouting that the refinery is analogue based. Will the government be able to give a digitally controlled refinery that will equally satisfied those conditions under 7months. I think criticism should be constructive and not otherwise. The OP actually have some mischief up his sleeves when posting this article. [/quote No. The government should come clean and say this refinery is obsolete and can never work optimally. They have never told us that. The Kaduna refinery was an idea of your president when he was NNPC chief. His idea has failed terribly and he should admit it. There is no point wasting money on an obsolete refinery, they should rather shift their focus to refineries with capacities to perform. |
slimfit1:He has every right to complain even if its 3 weeks into Buhari's government. |
Vicboi1:I already know how this government will end. Nigerians deserve whatever befalls them. |
Nigeria is a country filled with hypocrites and "chichidodos". A chichidodo is a bird (mythical) that hates faeces with passion but feeds on maggots that emerge from faeces. This is exactly what a vast majority of Nigerians are - Buhari included. Buhari happily worked for one of the most despotic and corrupt governments in the history of the world, he defended the government at all times even after it ceased to exist. It is extremely embarrassing that such a person would have the a moral standing and talk about anticorruption or even fight corruption. Buhari has been a beneficiary of corruption all his entire life. How would catholics feel if they found out the Pope once happily worked in an abortion clinic? How they would feel is the same way Buhari fans and all Nigerians should feel about President Buhari. |
Some things I know about the budget: 1. It was developed without any concrete input from the cabinet. The budget came out three weeks after minister were appointed - (You can't develop a federal budget in 3 weeks) . Talk about minister being noisemakers. 2. They lied about zero budgeting (This budget was not based on a zero budgeting standard) 3. They will borrow heavily to fund the budget |
Anybody getting excited by the recent news that the refinery was back on stream should dismiss that information and face the truth. |
It is an obsolete refinery that cannot function efficiently and effectively any longer. Excerpts: AS hopes rise that Nigeria’s refineries may come on stream by December, details are emerging that the Kaduna Refining and Petrochemical Company (KRPC) may not be among them, and may even need to be ‘scrapped.’http://www.ngrguardiannews.com/2015/10/why-fg-should-scrap-kaduna-refinery/ cc: lalasticlala |
Enjoy your change |
Lol. I remember when I used to eat like this |
