Midway into a daydream of freedom, i heard the Judge repeating my name impatiently "Mr. X, do you plead guilty or not guilty to 1st degree homicide?"

I opened my mouth which was dry in anticipation of the carnage to come. I couldn't form the words..

I was literally saved by the bell! "GBAGAN, GBAGAN GBAGAN" The Church Bell close by rang for noon service.

12 noon was showtime. I bent as if to tie my shoelaces and i retrieved the Glock that had been taped under the bench for me 3 days previously.

I pulled. It held firm i pulled desperately, and then it suddenly came free in my hand.



I swiveled to my left and made Uche's son fatherless. Headshot, no chance. My 14th victim.

I turned to the right and asked the bailiffs if they wanted to be Numbers 15 and 16.

Thanks.I just don't like the way some Nigerian ladies lazy about.We were supposed to help a man in building.From my research,76% of African men die so young because of stress.The expectations on African men is too much.When they die,life becomes so hard for their widows because they weren't prepared both financially,emotionally,and physically to take up the challenges.They weren't used to that.Now as a result,the children will be affected so much by the challenges.This is not good if we want to breed a society devoid of avoidable crimes.If Nigeria wants to get it right,it will have to start from the family.What do you teach your children.Do you just tell your daughters that the most important thing is for her to rally around and look for a rich man to marry that it would be the best security for her? Do you just teach your sons that as a man,he should bear all the burden? He is not supposed to ask for help nor cry? So many LADIES that are graduates don't even know what or why they had to study the course they did.All they want to learn is how to make up and sell clothes,weavon,bags and sandals.They won't learn how to make all this. I want a change.Let everyone help each other to build.The stress in this life is so much to be borne by one party. An Igbo adage says"Anyuko Mamiri onu,ogbaa ufufu".

What if I told you guys that we could have MODERN AMBULANCES, ETC...like the ones we see aborad....IF WE PAID MORE TAXES.

Many Nigerians cry about how bad things are, and then port to countries like Canada, UK and US...where they pay municipal taxes as high as N30000 monthly or more....and in return, ambulance service is among the stuff provided.

Our health care budget was N800billion out of N8 trillion naira...that's 2billion USD. In the USA...the state of New Youk has a budget of $160BN USD.

And we expect miracles from our scanty budget of $22trillion naira.?

And corruption is eating our budget as well...meanwhile PDP and APC supporters are defending their corrupt politicans well well...


If you want nice stuff....PAY TAXES. If you want increased funding..PAY HIGHER TAXES. Our tax rate is 0-24% In developed countries it can be has high as 50% per annum.
