The Lagos State government should randomly reward some people who actually follow the rules to boost compliance.

The money should be used to feed those that are actually obeying the lockdown rules, everything should not be by force in this country. They can randomly Surprise any house in each area and if the occupants are obeying the lockdown law fully , give them a reward for it and then let the news go round . You will see at least 70% following the law hoping to be rewarded, leadership is not all about muscle.

Nigerians only obey law and order when they travel abroad, there is nothing like inter state restrictions. People travel day and night and if a car is impounded and crushed now, the governor will be called a tyrant. Tribal and religious sentiments will start again.

Nigerians should start plantimg any type of crops on all available lands and also livestock in any available Space now. This is planting season, within a couple of months there will be abundant blessings.

This is true, there should be a full investigation into the matter, then we can judge.

A man's Lamborghini was crushed in the UK for parking on a red line while he was in court for a landlord and tenant case in the UK, if this happened in Nigeria the sky will come down.

Hotel can be rebuilt but lives lost won't come back again, Nigerians are more concerned about properties than people who could possibly die from coronavirus, in the UK and Ireland top government officials lost their top jobs for not obeying lockdown laws and we are crying over a hotel. They should investigate properly if the hotel actually broke the law in the first place that's the first thing to do.

Nonsense talk, if the owner of the hotel has a case he should go to court. Wike has set a very good example for other governors to follow.

For me, it's high time Nigerians learn to follow the law and stop looking for pity, how difficult is it to just lock your doors and follow what the state government ordered? I heard people are still traveling everyday for 15k per head , even with inter state travel restrictions.
Now nobody will tell people to follow the laid down rules in Rivers state.

That is why Nigeria is still where she is today because of people like this, some people broke the law and got arrested, these clowns wants to go on nation wide strike to force a state government to dance to their own terms.

Wike is doing a good job. I admire his vision and courage and seriousness. The problem with Nigerians is that they are not law abiding, most times we want to break the rules and expect nothing to happen, this act of impunity by the citizens must end to make Nigerian great again.
If Only Nigerians are law abiding and followed the rules of the lockdown by the government to the later, we won't be in this mess now. The Lagos State government put a ban on Okada riders and you still see them everywhere, they said it is compulsory to wear face masks in Lagos State but you see so many violators, if the government dont get tough on people, nothing will happen and we will still remain in the same spot. Lagos is doing something different, I think all orher states should work together with Lagos state to fight this virus. Very impressive results coming from Lagos State. Starting from the quality isolation centers to the quality food and treatment plus results. I salute everyone that is involved in this amazing work, from the ambulance drivers, nurses and doctors to the decision makers and everyone that is working behind the scene to make this possible,God bless you all.

Kudos to the Nigerian police and all involved in the search and arrest of these animals in human skin, to me I see the leader was motivated by jealously.
The only way this will make sense, is for them to be tried and sentenced within a month and the governor compelled to sign the death warrant if they are sentenced to death, this will bring closure for the families of the victims. May the souls of the victims rest in peace.

Import directly from South Korea, Their test kits are more reliable and faster. This is not the time for too much talk.

This governor should use state funds to import enough test kits and start testing anybody suspected to have the infection. You can not condition people to bring test results when there is no tests kits available.

I don't know about other states, the Lagos State government has a standard isolation center that you do not need to run from. Other states should send representatives to learn from Lagos State and upgrade their facilities to discourage running away.
There should be an urgent law in place to punish anyone who intentionally avoids treatment and infects any other person, knowing fully well they have the disease.

The government should allow private pharmaceutical companies to import these test kits and sell to Nigerians that can afford to buy, you will see that the test kits will be everywhere and this will help stop the spread of this covid 19 virus.

This is not just in Kano state alone, most hospitals are afraid of getting their staffs infected and you don't blame them. The federal government needs to declare a state of emergency in the medical sector and instruct the NCDC to organize and train private Medical doctors and nurses on how to kit up properly to protect themselves from exposure to coronavirus before handling any new patients.

The qualified private hospitals should be named, they should have a dedicated area to receive any sick person to conduct tests before referring to the case to NCDC when the result is positive or continue their treatment if negative. The government should also assist those qualified hospitals with the recommended PPE if possible.

Well then please prepare to lock down the country again because in 7 to 14 days time the result for yesterday's actions will be out.

The redemption camp auditorium can contain more than 5000 bed space, Just a thought .

The best thing for these kind of cases is to get fast judgement and to commence punishment, this will give a little closure to the families. May God give you the heart to bear the pain.

Something clearly happened between the NCDC and the Kano state government , someone dropped the ball. The federal government should immediately lunch an investigation into how Kano state went from a couple of cases to this.

What is so special about this speech that is so secret? If you have an internal crises please deal with it internally and stop disturbing people with these long stories. People are trying to rebuild their lives after this epidemic crisis.
