HealthRe: Lockdown: Lagos Government Donates Food Items To Residents by Swingate(m): 9:24pm On Mar 31, 2020
Go house to house and deliver food door to door.. Stop gathering people around to share food. You will miss the important people and the cough disease can be spread further.
Please go house to house door to door, any body outside gets nothing.
HealthRe: Lagos Lockdown; Berger Axis In Pictures by Swingate(m): 9:20pm On Mar 31, 2020
This lock down won't help much it failed in Italy and the UK, the best thing is for government to set up a place in Ondo state or Ogun to move all suspected cases nation wide to till they are tested.
Then the positive ones will be kept and treated while the negative ones will be released.
PoliticsWhat Are Those Politicians Doing For You In This Time Of Need? by Swingate(op): 10:06am On Mar 31, 2020
This time people are off work and some families are locked down in their houses with no food to eat but knowing fully well they have to isolate to be alive.
The question is where are those rich politicians that will come knocking on your doors for your votes next elections ? Don't you think if they love you so much they will organise a team to arrange for door to door delivery of food stuff to their constituents?
The good people of Nigeria should join me in calling out those politicians to come to the aid of their voters now or risk been ignored in the next election.
And to you the politicians this is the time to show your people you care, they will never forget anybody who comes to their house to feed them. They will never forget this important bag of rice and some other items, They will never forget those who came to check on them at this time. What do you think guys?
HealthRe: 5 Things That Will Happen Due To Lockdown In Nigeria by Swingate(m): 9:10am On Mar 30, 2020
This is the what will happen, people will become hungry, food supply will run down and food stuff will become scarce and people will start losing their cool.
You can not estimate the power of hunger, people will start doing anything to survive because I know we don't have any back up plan
Christianity EtcRe: Did You Go To Church Today Amidst The Coronavirus Pandemic? by Swingate(m): 10:21am On Mar 29, 2020
This whole stuff is just like a joke in Lagos State, if you want to shut down the state just do it fully so it will end fast. This partial lockdown of a thing is not working.
See children playing street football, yesterday people crowded to get rice for free.. Who are we kidding?
PoliticsRe: Gov Sanwo-Olu Denies Rumour Of Curfew In Lagos by Swingate(m): 7:49pm On Mar 28, 2020
The Lagos government should create a covid 19 channel, 24 hours on to channel information direct to the public so there will be no more rumours.
The reporters should show us what is happening in the hospitals, testing sires and go to the streets to see how people are complying with the social distancing order and also how they are surviving.
HealthRe: NIMR Offers Free Coronavirus Testing In Yaba, Lagos by Swingate(m): 9:45am On Mar 28, 2020
This is very good, the first step to defeat this virus is vigorously testing any suspected case. Without tearing then everything will be a guess work and sometimes serious cases may be turned down creating more new cases.
Test and isolate cases and start treatment to save lives.
HealthRe: Lagos Acquires New Equipment For Disinfection Of Public Places, Set To Deploy by Swingate(m): 6:14pm On Mar 26, 2020
The Lagos State governor is my friend. Always commendable.
HealthRe: COVID-19: FG Deploys Nigerian Researchers To Search For Cure by Swingate(m): 2:03pm On Mar 26, 2020
Thanks to the government for taking my advice. And please not just the government alone the rich and corporate organizations should also raise funds for Nigerian scientists for research on this and other Viruses. The world should not be caught off guard again by any virus.
PoliticsRe: Adamawa Unable To Pay March Salary, N32,000 Minimum Wage Due To COVID-19 by Swingate(m): 9:12am On Mar 25, 2020
What do you expect from a government that has no clue?
PoliticsRe: Fuel Scarcity Looms As NUPENG Hints Sit-at-home Order From Friday by Swingate(m): 9:08am On Mar 25, 2020
Essential services must not be interrupted, fuel is an essential product even the hospitals needs fuel to generate power.
Key workers will need to move around. I think petroleum marketers are not happy about the reduction of fuel pump price so they are looking for a way to create artificial scarcity to profit from price hike.
It is left o the government to stop then at all cost.
PoliticsRe: Toyin Saraki Assembles Scientists To Reduce Coronavirus Spread by Swingate(m): 9:02am On Mar 25, 2020
Where are the Nigerian scientists? Nobody is hearing anything from them or their association. Although I don't be them because they have been neglected for so long, but this is actually their time to shine.
The government and we'll meaning individuals and organizations should throw an open challenge to our scientists to find a local solution for this epidemic. Funds should be made available for researchers to look for treatment and if possible a vaccine for coronavirus.
I trust in Nigeria scientists and I believe with the right support they will find the cure.
HealthRe: Government Should Ban Sports Betting Halls Over Coronavirus by Swingate(m): 9:41am On Mar 24, 2020
Are they still betting? I thought they postponed the league's due to the coronavirus .
PoliticsRe: COVID-19: Fear Grips Osinbajo, Governors Over Bala Mohammed's Self-Isolation by Swingate(m): 9:36am On Mar 24, 2020
Now he will manage the hospitals he did nothing for, I hope he will start signing money to upgrade the hospitals and pharmacies in his state because that's where he will be treated as well.
HealthRe: Nigeria Has Less Than 500 Ventilators For Coronavirus Patients - Punch Newspaper by Swingate(m): 9:32am On Mar 24, 2020
Now Nigeria needs more ventilator beds not private jets, That is what is making a difference from the fight against coronavirus in Germany compared to UK and Italy. Even though the Germans have above 6000 infected cases they recorded just 44 deaths due to availability of ventilators.
Maybe this will teach our politicians to wise up and upgrade our health care system.
The good thing is that nobody can run to London or USA for treatment.
HealthRe: I Tested Positive For Coronavirus - Salihu Umar, FIRS Employee by Swingate(m): 9:59pm On Mar 23, 2020
There is something they are not telling us about the transmission of this coronavirus, although they said you can only get infected by contact with fluid fim a carrier . How come people get infected this easily? Thay said some people don't have any symptoms, meaning no cough no sneezing or fever. How then do they infect people?
I think they should study this very well to avoid more infections .
FoodRe: Choice Of Food Stuff Amid Coronavirus Lockdown by Swingate(m): 9:29pm On Mar 23, 2020
Not more than 20% if families can stock up food supplies to last for two weeks in Nigeria now, most families survive on what they make daily.
If you go round you can count how many families that have a bag of rice at home right now. The government must be proactive to ensure people don't starve this partial lock down that may change soon. I see a lot of things happening in the next few days if we don't prepare. God bless Nigeria

PoliticsRe: Tanko Muhammad Orders Courts To Close From Tuesday Over COVID-19 by Swingate(m): 8:05pm On Mar 23, 2020
How about people in prison awaiting trial? I think the courts should remain open and attend to only very important cases with few in attendance.
All prisoners awaiting trial with minor offences that won't attract a jail term of more man one year should be released on probation . This will reduce congestion in the prisons.

And inmates that have less than 5 months remaining should be verified and freed on probation too.
PoliticsRe: COVID-19: FG Closes All Land Borders, Suspends FEC Meetings Indefinitely by Swingate(m): 7:46pm On Mar 23, 2020
When they needed to open the borders they didn't and now they urgently need to close it but they won't listen until it is too late.
We don't even know where we are going with this, but I just wish Nigeria the best of luck.
PoliticsRe: Paul Ibe: Atiku’s Son Did Not Visit Any Club In Abuja After Arrival by Swingate(m): 7:42pm On Mar 23, 2020
They should leave Atikus`s son alone he is just human like us. The government should enforce stay at home order and allow spaced out food supply sellers to make sure people don't starve while at home.
To win over this epidemic the Nigerian government needs to roll out money for testing people. That is the way they can separate serious cases from mild ones and allocate resources to people that need them most.
We need more testing sires if possible in every local government. So people can know their status and stay indoors.. Now most people don't even know if they have it already a d might just be doing more harm staying home with family.
PoliticsRe: Atiku’s Daughter-In-Law, Grandchildren Test Negative TO COVID-19 by Swingate(m): 6:01pm On Mar 23, 2020
Yeah like these people stay with their families.
PoliticsRe: Coronavirus: Lagos Bus Service Limited To Enforce No Standing Rule In Buses by Swingate(m): 8:09am On Mar 22, 2020
The federal government should support companies and families to enforce a stay at home order or two weeks to enable them find and isolate new cases and reduce infections. This is the only solution to the problem, asking people to partially isolate while going to work and entering public transport is a waste of time.

They should also think about disinfecting public places like shopping malls, buses
and hotels
CrimeRe: Harry Odiakaose: I Was Arrested By IGP X-squad, Who Demanded N10m by Swingate(m): 10:24am On Mar 21, 2020
From Edo state to Delta state, the so called IGP X Squad are worse than kidnappers. Whatever you do, don't pray to fall into their hands. They will take you from Delta state to a small police post along Benin warri express road and lock you up for days until you agree to pay them nothing less than 500k.
They go as far as taking you to the front of a notorious prison called White House along Sapele road and force you to an ATM to empty your account. The government should create a monitoring unit to check the activities of these men. You are helpless once they arrest you
PoliticsRe: Soala West Killed By Suspected Herdsmen In Rivers by Swingate(m): 10:34am On Mar 20, 2020
Crack down on these so called militant herdsmen, this is getting out of hand or does the government need Donald Trump to tell them how to clamp down on these killers?
These bad people are not hard to find, any area they enter to commit crimes the resident herdsmen know they are around and can identify them. Work with their leaders to fish out these menace to societies.

Christianity EtcRe: Observe Prayers Online — CAN Tells Churches by Swingate(m): 8:29am On Mar 20, 2020
Mizwisdom:
Parents that are working to survive? the virus will spread faster now because definitely children will be on the streets
I think our government is just copying what other countries are doing, they actually need to come with a better plan that will work for us based on our condition at this moment.
Christianity EtcRe: Observe Prayers Online — CAN Tells Churches by Swingate(m): 7:47am On Mar 20, 2020
This is a good one from CAN. When they say keep children out schools, the parents should be educated to keep them indoors not all over the streets playing. At school they could regulate them better than on the streets.
Christianity EtcRe: Coronavirus: TB Joshua Reacts As Lagos Government Restricts Church Activities by Swingate(m): 8:35am On Mar 19, 2020
