Fhemmmy: Let us even assume it was a lie, would the pix lie to as to the state of the "rat cage" labeled Train?
Besides, this cage probably wont be able to move more than 10Km/hr as well as try to remember how the train track in some area are packed with people selling stuff, and i wont be surprised if this cage stalled every few minutes cos it is not meant for human being

and whoes fault is it? Will this pure and utter greed and corruption by the NIGERIANS managing the train stand if the passangers refuse to be treated this way? You just said people sell on rail tracks, don't they know it is wrong? Why do nigerians see government as the author and finisher of their faith? Mahatma ghandi said " you should be the change you want in the world"..apparently, this does'nt apply to nigerians.

Addiction to social network is really becoming a problem, especially for teens and it's really dangerous, rather than facebook, teens should face their book.

This story is a well ochestrated lie!! There is no way a train will take 21 hours from lagos to illorin. Is there traffic on the rail track? Even steam engine trains that i've entered in england does'nt go so slow talk less of a locomptive engine. Absolute hogwash and this is most painfull because this story has spread to a site called "modern ghana" and they're having a filled day making fun of us. Ghastly nigerian!!!

The folks on this forum lamenting that nigeria is a disgrace and need eurofighters, apatches, merlins are fools..in a country with so much problems i guess this is smart way to spend money, what else do we need? Aircraft carriers? Nuclear subs?..this airforce commander before opening his mouth to complain, he should explain what happened to all the once bought previously, what is the maintanance culture of the nigeria airforce? What is the guarantee that the new once you want us to buy will not end up like the former and you'll start complaining again. These are the questions that needs answers. Rather you arm chair experts are saying trash!!

Though not their fault, The federal government is too big and streached too far to do some things right. The third mainland bridge should be handed over to the lagos state government and special allocation be provided them for it's up keep and futher development. The state government is closer to the people and will be more effective in it's local jurisdiction.

This law is idiotic!! It says it covers child molestation but among the members of the body this law is being formulated is a child molester, ahmed yerima. What will now be his purnishment for marrying a 13 years old? Or does sharia law overide the nigerian constitution?

What a bunch of plonkers!! The nigerian people have heard all this pathetic rhetorics before, they are hungry for change and a better life and if this new party want to replace the PDP then they have to articulate a clear vision and roadmap for where they want to take this country. This is the time to take their message to the people, to those nigerians in towns and villages who don't even know there in another party apart from the PDP in the 15 years of our democracy. Starting this new party by engaging in a mud fight with PDP will be the beggining of their end.

Anybody not convicted is presumed innocent and has the right to bail, it's now up to the media and nigerians to keep an eye on this case, cause if we turn a blind eye it'll go the way of dimeji bankole!!

The word "drugs" is too loosely stated. What kind of drug is it? Marijuana, canabis(which frankly don't qualify as drugs) or cocain, crystal meth. In which case the school is also in trouble as how such banned substance made their way into their campus must be answered. The whole thing is just shambolic!

Not to be a cynic but i know how many kids in orphanages and needy homes that money will feed or send to school..the footballers are already being paid for their jobs and no matter how sweet a nations cup victory is it won't solve a single problem in our nation, but little funds like this will go a long way.

The "i was hungry part" saddened and made me laugh at the same time. In as much as there is no excuse for theft...the judge should have given him some community service and probation term since he had to prior criminal record. Anybody up for a judicial review?

The bottomline is the corruption purnishments has to be fully made stiffer and more efficent..corruption is the bane of nigeria's problem but purnishment for it is childs play compared to virtually inconsequential things like gay unions.
