Christianity EtcRe: Goldie's Death Connected To Illuminati? by Symphony007: 12:12pm On Feb 15, 2013
People who postulate all this cospiracy theories are just sad and depraved...if they had something better doing in life they won't be so jobless to to submerge their brain in this rubbish. What if she had an existing medical condition that led to blood clot due to the long distance flight. This is the same thing that almost killed hillary clinton due to her long distance flights as secretary of state.
PoliticsRe: Soyinka Leads Protest To Fashola Over N4bn First Lady House by Symphony007:
Tolexander: A tale of two men(writers). One
decided destructively scattering
the city with his pen from abroad
while the other is constructively
criticizing her with his pen staying
at home.
Professor Oluwole Soyinka you
are the man. Little wonder you
were awarded the nobel
laureate.
Keep it up.
prof. Soyinka claims to fight for the poor and against bad governance but he is recieving millions from chibuike ameachi to go to rivers state and give lectures prasing ameachi's dismal performance. He recieves millions in speaking fees to attend south south governours forum and praise some of the thieves there for "good and examplary" government, prof. Achebe has kept away from the filt associated with the nigerian government on all levels and even keeps away from the country till sanity is restored, so he has a moral highground to point out their shambolic ways. Not a person who takes from the government with one hand and holds a protest plank card with another. no matter what i still respect and love the prof. But he he can't serves two masters at a time.
PoliticsRe: Soyinka Leads Protest To Fashola Over N4bn First Lady House by Symphony007: 12:00pm On Feb 15, 2013
As intelligent as he is i would have taught he knows that the lagos government does not have a say in the activities of the federal government..he and festus keyemo who is a lawyer should have the basic reasoning of taking their case to the supreme court and for an injuction. So by what they have done what have they achieved? Will fashola now fly to abuja and order the president to stop the house. Leading ineffective thing like this really trivializes the prof.
PoliticsRe: Retired Soldiers React To Rain Of Dollars On The Super Eagles by Symphony007: 6:40pm On Feb 14, 2013
Abeg!! What have you soildeirs done? What's so hard about going to war, getting shot, suffering life long injuries, carrying shrapnel in your body..the super eagels by running around with a football and won a cup has done more than you ever did and i'm sure most nigerians think the money, plots of land and national honours given to them is still too small, they've been to aso rock, national assembly, i hope their next stop is the central bank and the keys to the national vault presented to them!!
SportsRe: Eagles Now 30th In FIFA Rankings by Symphony007: 4:53pm On Feb 14, 2013
jadakiss213: this ur assertion is so wrong.how is England the most powerful nation in FIFa? u really dont know much bou world football.
you do realise that unlike other nation england has a "permanent" seat on the board of FIFA.
Foreign AffairsRe: Ghana Closes 40 Nigerians’ Shops by Symphony007: 4:49pm On Feb 14, 2013
rastamouse: Have you asked yourself if the place they started selling was a market? So because of ECOWAS, everyone should be allowed to start market at any part of the country? I was laughing when the guy said he contemplated starting another market in a 'village' grin

Ghana is a well-planned country and you just don't start market anywhere in the name of ECOWAS!
did'nt you read the article? There were other stores that was owned by ghanians but somehow there's were'nt touched, it was only the nigerians!! How does that make sense? It is very telling that john mahama will travel to abuja a few days after his inuagration to ask pres. Jonathan to help speed up work on the west african gas pipeline cause ghana needs it to feed their power plants, while nigeria suffers lack of power we feed your country gas meant for our national grid, yet what do we get in return? Humiliation and disrespect of our citizens!!
SportsRe: Eagles Now 30th In FIFA Rankings by Symphony007: 2:18pm On Feb 14, 2013
England will never leave the top 10 or even 5 because they're the most powerfull nation in FIFA..they invented the game of football for crying out loud. But i think nigeria deserves to be higher than 30. It just does'nt make any sense!!
Foreign AffairsRe: Ghana Closes 40 Nigerians’ Shops by Symphony007: 2:02pm On Feb 14, 2013
I've never been among those nigerians bashing ghana and i never will but this is just highly disrespectfull...it just shows what a waste of time ecowas is! That organisation has in no way helped us because no single country in this organisation is rich or productive enough for us to sign trade deals with so let's just abandon the rubbish, stop the west african gas pipeline which we send to the ghanians and other ecowas nations use to generate power, we should redirect it back to our national grid.

sign trade deals with developing countries who share our population potentials, countries like mexico, brazil, india, china, etc. Ecowas has never helped this country in anyway so if the only usefull advantage of our membership which is our citizens can trade and move freely in member states is facing trash like this, then we have no interest being members of this parasitic organisation!!

PoliticsRe: PHCN To Import Prepaid Meters by Symphony007: 11:37am On Feb 14, 2013
Nigerians are ready to pay anything so far as they see the power, if with those meters there is still low power supply then what's the use?
PoliticsRe: Lagos Sacks 35 Officials For Certificate Forgery by Symphony007: 11:33am On Feb 14, 2013
Is'nt certificate forgery a federal offence? Especially when using it to get a government job? I expect those people to be presecuted and those certificate collected. By sacking them they'll just use their certificate to get other jobs!
PoliticsRe: 45,000 Ghost-Workers Uncovered & N100bn Saved by Symphony007: 11:29am On Feb 14, 2013
At times i feel like nigerians are so used to their current situation that they castigate any development..what sort of nonesense comments am i reading here. This was a big problem in the rivers state civil service and now it has been stamped out, the money recovered used to increase civil servant pay and ugrade the state secetariate. Rather than clamouring for more states to take this up and even go futhur with ghost pensioners and ghst contractors. People are just spewing hogwash..the government is'nt nigeria's only problem o!! Go and buy a mirror!!
EducationRe: Army Children School Where Pupils Sit On Bare Floor! by Symphony007: 11:16am On Feb 14, 2013
This is not happening only in nigeria, it's an african problem and i invite you to donate to one of my favourites charities. It's called "kids in need of desk- KIND" just google the kind fund and make your donation.

In the absence of the federal government, i think the state should just volunteer to provide the desk, at times state government just have to put their people first, the federal govt. Is in abuja!

PoliticsRe: Mark : Nigeria Has Less Friends In Africa by Symphony007: 8:20am On Feb 14, 2013
Bigo8291: How about the fact that Nigerians also hate Ghanaians and themselves.
nigerians don't hate ghanians, they're only insecure, and the insecured ones are the one have'nt even been to ghana...it says alot that when john mahama was elected president, the first country he visited was nigeria to ask the nigerian government to please enhance work on the west african gas pipeline which runs from nigewria to ghana and other west african nations so ghanian power supply will be improved. All this ghana-nigeria bashing is ridiculous!

PoliticsRe: Mark : Nigeria Has Less Friends In Africa by Symphony007: 12:35am On Feb 14, 2013
Bigo8291: Ghana, Ghana, Ghana and y'all claim is ghanaians that hate Nigerians. I think is the other way around. Nigerians were much happier with Ghana losing than migeria winning the cup.
what's my bloody buisness with ghana? I was only articilating a known fact and admonishing my country to do better. I have nothing against ghanians or engage in the childish exchange of words!!
FoodRe: The Hypocrisy In Vegetarianism by Symphony007: 12:17am On Feb 14, 2013
A-town:
I am sure most if not all are aware of the health issues involved. The primary focus of the discourse in this case is "vegans/vegetarians that act as animal rights activists" hence the title "the hyppcrisy in vegetaarianism". People have been giving reasons why they are hypocrites and not necessarilly why vegetarians chose their way of life.
Don't be in such a hurry to critcize without reading everything.
even in retrospect what is the hypocrisy there? Anybody comparing living animals with living plants is a plonker. Plants have no pain receptor, if you cut the branch of a plant, it regrows but if you cut the hand or leg of an animal does it regrow? and the highest form of their living action is photosyntesis. Meanwhile animals are semi-humans who walk, love, search for their own food, mate and reproduce, breast feed their young and practically almost what we humans do, and they're slaughtered, skinned, humped up on pills and genetic food to make them fat and drowzy for the slaughter house, they scream in death. Just like you some of those animals killed have farmilies and you want to compare them with leaves who can't survive with sunlight? Pathetic article!!
FoodRe: The Hypocrisy In Vegetarianism by Symphony007: 12:07am On Feb 14, 2013
Umm Rumy: do u know d chemical compounds in d soil from which ur plant is grown. Everybody knows it's healthy 2 eat veggies but do u know that there r some minerals that can d gotten only from meat? As 4 those that r vegetarians 'coz of respect 4 life, how many humans die unjustly from one thing or d other. If u really respect life, take up their cause.
whatever mineral is gotten from meat can be supplemented by fruits and veggies, that is why vegetarians can go through life without eating meat but meat eaters always have fruits and veggies!!
SportsRe: House Of Reps Hold Special Plenary Session For Victorious Super Eagles (PHOTOS) by Symphony007: 12:00am On Feb 14, 2013
Why were'nt they made honorary members of the house? And the mace given to them as a sovenier? And maybe some more millions to go with it...next stop, the central bank of nigeria were they will given the keys to the central vaults...this boys really made this country proud and they're getting so little in reward!!
PoliticsRe: Mark : Nigeria Has Less Friends In Africa by Symphony007: 7:40pm On Feb 13, 2013
Since our independence in 1960, africa has been the center piece of our foreign policy but it is obvious that we are'nt respected, even in the ecowas, ghana is leading coup against our interests in the african union!! So what the heck, it's time for a change. "nigera as the center piece of our foreign policy" let us work on ourselves, and when we're great we won't go looking for friends, friends will form lines seeking our acquintance!!
PoliticsRe: Mark : Nigeria Has Less Friends In Africa by Symphony007: 7:33pm On Feb 13, 2013
redsun: True man. David mark himself and his cohorts are the number one enemies if Nigeria. The salaries and allowances alone that othey award themselves at a time when 80 percent of pnigerians are starving is treasonable. Not to talk if the magomago that goes on behind the scenes, like hijacking job positions that are main for competent nigerians for their incompetent and conniving cohorts.Talk about contract kickbacks and over inflation of contract quotations.

He is a traitor that will be judged when Nigeria is taken over by same people. When I mean sane people,I don't mean the present opposition, because they are just as bad. They are only crying out now because they are not in possession of the real honey comb, not for the interest of helpless nigerians.
80% of nigerians are starving? That's factually wrong on so many levels!!!
PoliticsRe: Senators Go Tough On Jonathan For Failing To Implement Resolutions by Symphony007: 7:26pm On Feb 13, 2013
The national assembly clearly don't know their limits!! In as much as they have the right of oversight over the executive, they have no right ordering the executive on how to run the nation, the house of reps is threatning to call the president is appear before them like he was appionted by them, this senate passes so much resolutions, it gets ridiculous..i once watched a senator on the house floor calling for a resolution to sack a permanent secetary in a ministry..is'nt that absurd? This people need to know their place and i blame the supreme court for being a bunch of old wax works who do nothing!! Pointing out this clear infrigement is their job!!!
FoodRe: The Hypocrisy In Vegetarianism by Symphony007: 7:18pm On Feb 13, 2013
Being a vegetarian is'nt all about "respect for life" it's about health!!! It's about how unhealthy meat is. Do you know the medical condition of the animal that is killed for your meat? Do you know how much chemical and water polutions the fish and the sea food you eat has experienced? There are many reasons most vegetarians live far longer than others!!
PoliticsRe: 776,000 Jobs Lost In Textile Industry –FG by Symphony007: 4:43pm On Feb 13, 2013
It's good they've recognised the problem so what's the solution? Secure the country, provide enough electricity, lower taxes for manufacturing buisnesses, provision of cheap and effective labour and finally provide better infastructure for exports and i assure the government that every texile company that has left will return and even the south african once will relocate!!
SportsRe: National Honours, Land & Cash For Keshi & Eagles by Symphony007: 2:12pm On Feb 13, 2013
I was expecting a group of girls to come out and the players asked to pick anyone they wanted as wives!! All these things are still too small for this great players who won the AFCON cup. A cup that will solve all our national problems!

Ucheosefoh: U are talking this trash cus u are nt among them or have a brother in that team u will be saying another thing
yes!! I'm talking trash because as opposed to them and their brothers who are enjoying the outrageous amount of money. Their are millions more in nigeria hungry, uneducated, homeless!! And this money wasted money would have fed a few kids, given a few kids education so they'l have a good life..but what the heck!! Afcon2013 cup which will be a memory in a few days time is better than this nations future!!

*yawn* we've heard..christainity is just contradicting itself. Jehovah withness belive there is no hell, that all bad people will be destroyed by God and a new earth created, evangelics belive that there is hell, and bad people will roast there for enternity while the good once will go to heaven, some also belive something called rapture will happen where good people will vanish off the earth while the bad will be subjected to a tyranical earth government headed by the anti-christ! And many more belifes...this is hilarious cause that judgement day will be really interesting as we will see who was right!cheesycheesycheesy
Christianity EtcRe: How To Understand Atheists: A Guide For Christians by Symphony007: 1:30pm On Feb 13, 2013
I'm not an athiest but i have nothing against them, even futher i think their social life should be a compass for some religious nation. Countries like norway, sweden, switzerland, luxembourge, etc. Which are predonminatly athiest and liberal have the lowest crime rate on earth and they're never at war infact they virtually have no military as opposed countries like isreal and middle eastern nations who are always at war and maintaning a larger than life armned forces with nuclear weapons to fry your fellow humans.
