Idiko1:So why did Major Don Okafor failed to arrest Ironsi? Probably because this same Okafor, who happens to be one of the trio coupists (the other two being Major Ifeajunna and Capt Oji) , was busy chasing after Brigadier Mai-malari hide after his botched attempt at the latter's residence at 11 Thompson Ave, ikoyi. |
But why should anyone begs the north for power? Do they own the country? These are the people who contribute nothing to the national kitty yet we are supposed to go on our knees and beg them before we can manage our lives. This contraption is long overdue for disintegration, watching. |
Deadlytruth:Please, don't be too harsh on Maj. Ademoyega who, at the time, was a well-know Awoist hence his ibo coupists later propagated the same scam they sold him, I.e the coupists are going to release Awo and make him the PM. Meanwhile nothing concrete was put in place to effect such possibility. This was why Adegoyega got into a fist-fight with ifeajuna when he later came face-to-face with him in calabar prison, as he now realised he had been scamed by ifeajuna. The coupists, in retrospect, had no intention of releasing Awo from prison. . |
Queeeeeen:I guess hopeless Uzodinjo is the "Afonja" of iboland. Nice to know that "betrayal" or selling out your own people for crumbs off the fulanis table, is not peculiar to yorubas alone as the children of hate will have us believe. |
LOBATAN!!! C'EST FINI!!! Where is the Buhari's sycophant who claimed, "he is PROUD of what Nigeria" has become under this terrorist-enabling govt. |
SmartPolician:Either way, this country is on the precipice of breaking up. The current situation is not sustainable- something has to give, eventually. Of course, the beneficiaries of the warped and lopsided system will do everything within their means to keep the status quo hence I wasn't surprised when OBJoke ranted the other day, that his "Nigerianese" is more than his "yorubaness". Whether by war or negotiations, Nigeria will break up however I seriously suspect the former will take place. The parasites and their lackeys who have fed well on our collective wealth will not let go, that easy. |
This is the most proactive strategy yoruba nationalists need to embark on if they truly want their own nation. Grass root awareness is the only true trajectory to a peaceful disintegration of this country. The populace are more than the morons and kleptomanics masquerading as their representatives in govt . |
christistruth01:Good thing, Pa Awolowo was in prison in calabar, else am sure, these barbarians from the yeastside would have found a reason to kill him, too |
Considering what Awolowo had achieved in Yorubaland before independence, I fail to see how our self-rule was premature. Yorubaland had television before France, a former colonial power, free education, free health care and many, many more to boot. I believe, in my own opinion, Awolowo should have gone it alone rather than waiting for those who historically, were our foes and were responsible for ransacking our previous citadel of power in Yorubaland. So, in essence, Yorubaland was ready for self-rule (by 1960) but can't say the same for other regions in this unholy union |
chrisxxx:What's new? Those modaphockers are killing us in our own ancestral land, as we speak whilst our so-called representatives looks the other way. Abi, are these not the same barbarians who went on a killing spree simply 'cause of the eclipse of the moon. Their imams told them, southerners were responsible and like zombies with no processing faculties, they set on us whilst chanting "alaha akubar". So much for an indesoluble country. |
luckily, yoruba nationalists ain't seeking for your support so you can stick it where you deem fit. We all know you are Mr. One Nigeria however when the country finally explode in your face, you can as well relocate to whatever is left of Nigeria. |
Gbagura:In fact, yorubaland is the ONLY region in this world where Muslims & xtians lives in harmony. |
BigSarah:Oh, so you listen to koiki, too? May I suggest, you listen to Maiyegun general political. His analysis is concise, sometimes prophetical and he's unashamedly, pro-ipob/biafra. |
helinues:okay o,Nigeria will in due course, happens to all you so-called "proud nigerians". Las, Las, everybody (in Nigeria) will chop breakfast!! |
helinues:And who are these "we" you are referring to, above? Ol' boy, you can ONLY speak for yourself o. |
oilyngbati:An igbo presidency in 2023 will not put a stop to all these fulani killings in igboland currenly or the rest of the country, either. Obasanjo was president in 200, when these guys from the sahel, embarked on their "sharia" nonsense but somehow, they still managed to find reason to slaughter southerners including yorubas, albeit in the northern part of the country with great abandon Objoke did sweet F.A. Now, the same fulanis are killing us in own ancestral land but none of our so-called representatives at the centre seems to notice our plight. |
[quote author=gidgiddy Let nobody decieve you about the presidency of Nigeria, if it did nothing for others, it will do nothing for the Igbo nation![/quote] I, unequivocally, endorse this message! It's for these reasons (&more) that I refuse to endorse the notion of a Tinubu or an Osinbajo's (or any yoruba, for that matter) presidency. None of these charlatans have the wherewithal to put a stop to fulani marauders displacing us from our ancestral land. |
gentiles:Pray, tell how did he betrayed his colleagues ? Have you heard from his colleagues and did they tell you that they were betrayed? |
gentiles:You guys will say anything just to give yorubas a bad name. I suppose, in your blinkered mind, you failed to read where the erudite Prof. mentioned that “It is our well-considered opinion that some of those we align with in NINAS do not want the kind of SELF-DETERMINATION that we the Yoruba people want.Notice, how the split was amicable as in the bolded above with no derision aimed at no-one in particular. It's just a difference of opinion hence the decision to stand alone whereas you people are already sounding like a broken record claiming it's betrayal. Please, tell us how Prof. Banji has betrayed anybody with his speech, quoted above. |
Abdul05:That's a classical example of "vanquished Sydrome". In the brief history of this warped union, Hausa-Fulanis have killed more ibos (and are still doing, extantly), than the yorubas YET they seem to reserve their worst vitriol for the yorubas. |
PROUDIGBO:Ol' boy, forget it!!! If Hausa-Fulani decides to exit Nigeria today, you can bet your bottom dollar that the yorubas will leave, too. As it is presently, yorubas want out of this unholy union that is nothing but an hinderance to our progress and development but unfortunately, our political class including (some) traditional leaders, who are feeding off the crumbs from the fulanis' table are reluctant to follow suit. Same scenario plays out in iboland too, where it was actually their political class who proscribed Ipob as a terrorist organisation, just to curry favour/protection ,from their fulani overlords. |
vanbonattel:Yes ke! And na dat "bad mouth" being their greatest undoing ever since. Somehow, they can't discern that it's better to be quick to listen and slow to yab. When this contraption finally evaporate into thin air, and everyone starts to bear his father's name, we shall be here to remind them of their "bad mouth". Same way Oju-iku yab at the beginning of the oil war saying the only dealings he would ever have with the Northerners will be on the battlefield, only for him to swallow his own vomit and joined the NPN- a northern party, sitting at the same table with those who unleashed a deadly pogrom on his people. Keep yabbing guys but remember, the Internet never forgets! |
And I presume PYO will put an end to the farmers/ herders clash(sic) in Yorubaland. That's if anyone is left in the land with the rate Buhari's foot-soldiers are decimating our population at the moment. They should just break up this damned country 'cause this contraption is irredeemable. |
contentsub:Nigeria is now a "turn-by-turn" limited company. Las, Las everyone in this doomed contraption will eat "breakfast" but at different times. |
Emergingnation1: |
Emergingnation1:But the records states that yorubaland was the first region to attain self-rule in 1957 whilst the Eastern region chose to wait for their "(fulani) brothers from another mother ", to gain theirs. You guys just rush online to regurgitate the same old absurd fallacies that your lying, mischievous grannies conditioned your ill-formed brain cells with, without pursing to introspect for a moment. |
ObiOfOnitcha:It really boggles my mind how you can refer to the present situation Nigeria is in, as "still standing". I beg , wake up and smell the blasted coffee..........open your eyes to peruse the neon writing on the mountain side......Nigeria is on its last leg out. It's wobbling vigorously like a rudderless ship on the open sea. Rest assured, this contraption called Nigeria will not remain "standing" for another 50yrs. |
uduokirika1:Am certain, if I was to ask you for proof of the grave allegation above, you will start ranting like a rabid dog. |
greatermax77:Most likely in his dream, the night before. |
IamWonderful:No doubt, the killings going on in the SE far outweighs that in the SW but like I said earlier, "Everyone go eat breakfast....". The SE is having theirs now but surely, ours will soon come. Take for instance, the attack on Oloye Sunday Igboho's house was definitely meant to kill him. Had they achieved their nefarious agenda, our deceitful and moronic fulani govt would have blamed it on UGM. Ditto the attack on Prof. Banji Akintoye's house. |
IamWonderful:But, of what use are all these guys to their people with all the indiscriminate and wanton killings that are currently going on in Yorubaland? Osinbajo- the puppet 2nd man in this devilish govt has not for once mentioned anything about the way and manner, his boss's foot-soldiers are killing his people. Las, Las for this kowntri, "Everyone go eat breakfast o, only the timing will be different". So, whatever is currently going on in iboland right now will soon be visited onto Yorubaland. |
