I have read different versions of this nonsense here on Nairaland many times. Today it was written by Urhobo guy. SMH.
Abi ooo cheesy

Tomorrow, the same piece of c.r.a.p will (purportedly), be written by a "detribalised" fulani man

Same old narratives that we've all heard before. nothing new.

Shebi na pesin wey look at the bride's face , go notice say, she dey cry.

I, as a true "shoin of the shoil" don't give a ra.t a.r.s.e about where the ibos came from or their intended destination, as long as they keep their inherent mischief outta my region.

The bolded is very interesting statement. It means the war against Biafra was for a dopy reason.
Same reason the war biafrans brought to yorubaland, was a sham.

No wonder the british govt aptly tagged it, "Nigerian Oil war"
PoliticsRe: How Will The Anti-Corruption War Fair Under A Tinubu Presidency? by T9ksy(m): 9:18pm On Aug 13, 2020
It's a no-brainer!!!

Tinubu's presidency ( God forbid,) will be no different to Obj's tenure which was of no positive consequence to yorubas in particular or the whole nation, in general.

I still remember vividly where I was when I heard, obj vowed to fight corruption in Nigeria- i laughed so hard, I da.m.n nearly broke a rib.

Weldone! You might want to later ask yourself what u tend to gain from this constant 'bringing down attitude' towards Buruji..

Obj made so much money out of Nigeria. I can't see his foundation. Live and let live.
Don't need to ask myself nada seeing as what I wrote was simply, a FACT.

Obviously, you must be one of his beneficiaries hence your concluding sentence, "live and let live".

That Foundation was a ruse by the late senator and OGD to clean his drug money.

It was just a way to legitimize the proceed of his drug business under the guise of philanthropy.

PoliticsRe: Ironsi’s Death, My Role In Brigadier Ogundipe’s Escape by T9ksy(m): 7:32pm On Jul 31, 2020
HedwigesMaduro:
No it wasn't. Ogundipe wanted to take charge but a northern lower ranking officer said he would not follow his orders until being told by his commanding officer (who was a northerner). Any sane military man would know the implications of that. Ogundipe didn't crush the coup so he had no say in who became what. The north wanted secession at that point before those morons in Britain discouraged them that why would they secede when they had the reigns of power. Ojukwu that was egging Ogundipe on was in hiding all through this time. The civil war was triggered by the events of January 1966 which snowballed into a series of events of diabolic proportions, and it was enabled by the fact that all military personnel were ordered to their regions of origin (only the west still had "foreign" troops as northern soldiers didn't want to leave Gowon's security in the hands of Yoruba soldiers as the state house was still in Lagos then).
In actual fact, Gowon was the one reluctant to move his "foreign" troops from yorubaland 'cause he knew the yorubas were interested in getting involve in a fight between the east and the north. This was why gowon was dilly-dallying with awo's simple request.

Ojukwu was certainly aware of the situation in western region at the time. Moreover, Awo intimated ojukwu with this information during his enugu visit YET he (ojukwu) and his BLF insisted and proceeded in bringing his fight with their former bed-mates, to our shores.

Lame excuse. the man was just a weak man. Remember same Igbo has assured him of all needed military back up
You mean the same ibo man that had left his enugu state house and was hiding furtively under his bed in his village in Nnewi.

Same way another ibo freedom fighter offered yoruba's amotekun outfit, one million men support whilst he himself is in hiding from the federal might.

Perfidy seems to be the common currency in the way ibos interact with yorubas.

sageb:
that is the truth. Kiribo is an Ijaw community but they have been influence by the yorubas in the environs. Sowore is Ijaw
According to the video i saw on Heritage Tv Multimedia station aired on July 12th, 2020, when Sowore was asked if he is yoruba or Ijaw. He admitted that his lineage was from Ijesha with the wider family name been SUBULOYE but however his grandparents settled in Ijaw akpoi where he was born,

In essence, he is yoruba by lineage but he actually sees himself as an Ijaw apoi .

For the mere fact that our brothers in the north are not ready to relinquish their vice-like grip on the leadership of this contraption, i won' be wasting valuable resources arguing about the Op's proposition. It's D.O.A..................Our brothers(?) in the north would rather the whole country morph into somalia than allow such an abomination to occur in their lifetime.

Best thing is to go our separate ways. The way the country is constituted, the north will always have us by the jugular and there's sweet F.A (phock all) we can do about this sad situation except.......................................

I wonder were u get ur ideas from. U must only have come in contact with uneducated one to have that impression of the Igbos.
Now to topic. Ken saro wiwa was not the best of persons to know but he was a learned man, an activist for his people. His death is a regrettable fact. He would be a juggernaut now if he were alive.
In that case, according to your statement above, majority of ibos must be "uneducated" 'cause each and every opposing views to ibos proposition is treated by your elite as a sign of tribalism stemmed from hatred for ibos.

7 decades after the fact, your "educated" elite firmly supported by their minions are still wailing that the yorubas- your close rival in the inappropriate project called Nigeria, stopped an iboman from being in charge
of their affairs out of hatred.

Once you oppose an ibo man's views on any subject matter, instead of him to try and convince you with compelling points, he will rather resort to his familiar victim mode. That's when he will conclude rather childishly, that you hate him.

For my Yoruba brethren, from your SS brother (I don't speak Yoruba but know it is GOOD news here grin !)

3 minute video in Yoruba language

PROF BANJO AKINTOYE YORUBA WORLD LEADER SPEAKING ON ODUA REPUBLIC
Dateline Ibadan: July 26, 2020. The LNC/MNN Joint Secretariat Congratulates the Yoruba World Congress (YWC) for this bold Commencement of the Yoruba Self-Redemption from the Failed Lugardian Experiment of 1914 and the Toxic Union of Death, Attrition and Backwardness foisted on the Constituent Components of the Distressed Federation of Nigeria.

[If someone can post a brief summary on what Baba Prof Akintoye said I will appreciate it. Thank you - meavox]

https://web.facebook.com/tony.nnadi.52/videos/3279769562083627/
Basically what Prof. is saying is that the time for restructuring is way over and done with and now the yorubas want out of this contraption. He also alluded to the fact their organisation is not interested in who rules the country, come 2023 as yoruba nation will not participate in that election.

A lot of folks rang in, though they all seem amenable to the concept of a yoruba nation existing this fake union, their worry is as how to actualize this objective. The Prof. believed in peace struggle where he and his colleagues can intellectualize the yoruba nation's rights to self -determination within and outside the shores of present day nigeria, under the UN Charter whilst warning those who might want to take up arms against the fg. to discard such idea.

IMO, I believe we can't afford to put all our eggs into one basket and also that to arrive at a peaceful solution to our problem, we must also prepare for other eventualities i.e war. It's instructive to note that their has been clamor for a yoruba nation for the past 2 decades now, only that recent happenings in our political sphere have opened the citizenry and hence accelerate the call for secession.
