Good day everyone. I got a job barely 2 years ago in one of the pensions firm organisations. After the compulsory induction, I was posted to a department that others in the company avoided. Since then, my life has not remained the same. I wake up daily at 4am to get to work and do not return home till about 9pm each day. The pressure of the work is so much for me and I get men from other departments make comments like ‘’you are a true warrior working in that dept and keeping your sanity’ We get to meet a lot of nasty retirees who come to the office with violent weapons and many of my colleagues have been assaulted in the past. My boss says it is part of what we must face in the job. I am single and in my late 20’s and I do not feel like I can carry on this way. Then again, I do not think such a job is really appropriate for a lady. I have been thinking of leaving, but I have a lot of responsibilities and I need to find something else before I leave. I have a bachelor’s degree in Law as well as a Master’s degree in Corporate Law,(both from a top university in the United Kingdom) I have also been called to bar in Law school. Its quite unfortunate that no good job has come my way yet. I would like to work in the oil & gas sector or any corporate organization or law firm. If there's any one reading this that can help, I would be grateful. My email is Tanimomo200@yahoo.com Godbless. |
i am female and i have always wondered if there are truly spirit filled,God loving professional men here? if there are and you think you would like to make a new friend, who loves God, kindly email me on tanimomo200@yahoo.com |
Well I have honestly desired to meet a spirit filled christian who loves God as much as I do.the thing is that most men these days are into clubbing and drinking,so I keep praying to meet the flesh of my flesh. |
Niflheim: jesus said ,'my god my god why hast thou forsaken me?'..............................because god was busy watching the match between angola and burkina faso(nations cup qualifier)!!! |
Niflheim: jesus said ,'my god my god why hast thou forsaken me?'..............................because god was busy watching the match between angola and burkina faso(nations cup qualifier)!!!No Nifiheim.God was not watching any match. God cannot look upon sin neither can he look on iniquity because He is pure. Habakkuk 1:13 says "Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity" When Jesus was nailed on the cross,He was carrying all the sin of humanity, he was carrying all the iniquities of men, all the wicked of the human race, He carried all of these upon Him. God had to remove His face from His only begotten son at that point because behold, God cannot look upon sin and wickedness and so Jesus cried out "My God,My God why has thou forsaken me in Matthew 27:46 I hope this sheds more light on why Jesus said those words. |
You don't have to be cele before you encounter them. If God has specific messages,He is still the Ancient of Days, and what he did in the past,He still does, meaning that He still sends his angels on errands. They are messengers of the Most High God. Angels have eyes, mouth and legs just like humans, but they are extremely shiny and carry the presence of purity around them. You will definately know they are not human. I have seen them during prayer sessions and during divine ministration. Most people long to see them and as such demonic angels transform themselves into angels of light to deceive those who are desperate. One must always be careful with things of the spirit, and the bible implores us to test all spirits.May the Lord grant us wisdom to pass through this earth with purity and to build our eternal riches in heaven.Amen. |
Was discussing this topic with some friends last week and they claim that such God given husband does not exist. I still believe that the bone of our bones and flesh of our flesh still exists. |
My pastor pays his tithe. I see him dropping it in the Tithe Box. |
You have prophetic ministry and pastoral ministry but so far on this thread you're yet to drop a single bible verse to support yourself or your stand with. Hmm, o ga. Oh well, like attracts like. You can marry a pastor but dont think you can f.ool God.
![]() |
surely, there are wolves in sheep clothing. no doubt about that, but then again, there are genuine ones. |
Jesus is the only way. Jesus is Real, and alive. I have seen him with my two eyes, and after i saw him , he says i should let the world know that he is real and that he is alive. Surely, he is coming soon. very soon. |
Thanks for all the replies. For those that asked if i want to marry a pastor bcuz of money, well no! if i want to honestly describe the love i have for God, it truly cannot be described. it is beyond words, and even though i have a full time job that is very tasky,i still try to find a few minutes each day at work to just worship Him. the reason why id prefer to marry a pastor is because i do have a prophetic calling from God ,which im slowly but surely starting to answer. (some people might ask me what is a prophetic calling from God), it means that God has called me to be a Pastor to minister healing, deliverance and alot more to those who are in bondage. My job doesnt allow me obtain my full potential although my work colleagues have already encountered God through this call. i would prefer a man who knows God and loves him as much as i do. Although God is the ultimate planner, His plans supercedes any plans and wishes i may think is best for me.He knows what is best for each of us,therefore i am trusting in him to bring forth the best man for me. ![]() |
yep.this happens to me. |
this is truly sad. How can you cheat on your pregnant wife? ![]() |
i dont like the dress. |
i dont know if it sounds odd to want to marry a pastor,or someone who has deep love for God. i have come to a phase in my life where God means so much to me, and feel like i myself even ought to be a pastor,i would love to meet and marry a man who saturates himself with the word of God, loves to worship and spend time in Gods presence. Sadly, most men these days would prefer to linger around unholiness, alcohol, clubs, jazz, filthy things, and ladies. so i dont know if my dream of meeting a holy man would ever come to pass.God works in mysterious ways, and even tho i get alot of attention from men who seem worldly,i always feel like theres still someone special out there. ![]() what do you feel about this? do you really care if your spouse loves God or not?would you prefer if they loved God more?id love to hear your opinions. |
![]() i guess its not worth being here anymore. thanks all the same. |
toogbaski:its a strange world here indeed. i think i would take a friends advice and just forget about finding a honest person here. most of the replies on this thread make it seem that most nigerians are just out to bash and discourage. |

thnx alot for all the replies. really appreciate them.well im not really the 'going -out' type. i dont go clubbing, drinking or partying. i work, i go to church and go out to buy things i need, and thats about it. i grew up with my parents 'cageing' the kids, so we hardly went out,so till now i still find it difficult to go out much, etc. for those asking what i look like and if i am normal, lol, yes i am pretty, and yes i am normal. unfortunately,i seem to always attract the type of men i dont like. eg the really outgoing, party goers. i believe in 'God-given' spouse cuz i feel just like He created Adam, he made Eve. so thats my belief. i have suitors who are not religious and who believe that God does not exist, i have suitors from islamic religion, but id rather prefer a man who believes in God the way i do. |
it is unfortunate that alot of gullible people would rush down to that church to be a witness. however, i would not believe this story. the Jesus that i have seen in my dream does not have black hair, instead he has extremely shiny Golden hair, gold that glitters like if you put gold under the sun and it reflects in your eyes (thats what his hair looks like) he has flawless skin, and he is not a black man. His skin colour resembles that of arabs, like wheat colour, and he is the most handsome man i have ever seen. Words cannot describe. well only God truly knows if this story in Benin is true or not,but i shall not believe it because it might be a spirit trying to impersonate the Messiah ![]() |
still praying and searching, |
still praying, |
who created God? are you kidding me? you are seriously asking this question and you think you will get an answer? goodluck in finding d answer. |
thanks for all the replies. i am actually born again and have accepted jesus as my saviour and lord, however jesus says he will send us the comforter, meaning that for those who have walked with jesus,he will send the comforter to them,so i just wanted to clarify how to receive the holy spirit. i have heard of laying of hands as was suggested above, and willing to look into that option : ) however, some have claimed that they received through prayers alone in their private residences which i also totally believe is possible. i have been praying day and night for the holy spirit to have his way. any other advice and suggestions? |
i noticed that this topic is not discussed much in the nigerian environment. i know that Jesus mentioned that he will send us the comforter who wuld teach us alot of things, however there are alot of studies that claim that you can receive the holy spirit by simply asking. but also some claim you have to be baptised first with the Holy spiritbefore you can begin to see the manifestation of the Spirit of God. (this type of baptism is different from water baptism) How can i get baptised and what can i do after this baptism? |
