nwanna89:Nwanna.....clear the air....is your company's bill estimated or read?. is the 70,000 naira a month's bill or accumulation of past debt? what is the consumption rate of your company( you cant tell me a coy thats into iron smelting is expected to b billed the same as a service coy whose electricity need is just for lighting and a few appliances.) i agree that bills can be outrageous...infact most of the time they are...but i will pick constant power supply at the current rate than run my business on generators any day any time.....ask any small or medium scale manufacturer..... |
esere826:let me get you right before i reply appropriately.... Are u implying that its cheaper to run a generator than to pay ur electricity bills?. i suspect you are a student therefore not yet responsible for your bills or you have never run a business before or u are not resident in Nigeria or simply being mischievious.... |
i doubt if you are involved in any business that has to do with manufacturing. If you were, you wont underestimate the higher cost of generating electricity privately as opposed to centrally generated electricity. dobt u think its absurd that every telecom mast has to hv a generator in Nig to function? same for every ATM. imagine u are a startup...and have 10 naira to set up....u find out u have to set aside 3 naira for "flexible" energy. if u had procured 2 more machines with ur 3 naira instead of gnerator, u would have employed atleast two more operators to man ur extra machines. ur extra output would help u to be competitive in the market place....you will make more sales at less production cost....u will make more profit from which u can re-invest....then u can employ more workers....its a chain reaction and its hard to tell where it ends. its a simplistic way of looking at the situation but that pretty much sums it up frm the road side welder to the factory floors...the groaning is the same. its a more efficient and less costly source of electricity even if the current rate is doubled than ur "flexible" electricity. but you are right because stable electricity is not the only remedy for job creation....the approach has to be holistic |
ephi123:you can say that again!...one term is enough for any serious person to reduce corruption drastically......if i were Buhari, i would fight according to the dictates of my conscience and damn the consequences. |
Frankenstein:i dont think she will activate the bring back our girls campaign just yet. Why? i think she believes in the sincerity and seriousness of the govt(to search for the girls and fight terrorism)under GMB than GEJ....and most people do. GEJ opened himself to alot of attacks and harsh critisms because he seemed not to care so much...he was lethargic on some important issues...not "giving a damn" until he recieved verbal lashes...from people(Malalas of the world). |
he should set up a committee to look into the leakage of the conversation ![]() |
although i will like to see apc win in lagos, but i can see Nigeria going back to the dark days of being a one party state....i wanted PDP to lose some...but wouldnt want them to experience a drastic drop in fortune as they are bound to experience in the nearest future frm the look of things....i fear they wont be strong enough to keep APC on their toe and frm being complascent. |
urboy1:you need to change ur condescending and bigoted way of seeing people. so flower cutters and suya men and maiguards are subhuman abi?...while you are the next best thing after sliced bread. You are dangerous to d existence of people around you. |
fippycbk:he dropped something even better.....check his signature |
simple..mature professional looking designs. erad...do u do bottle sleeve design?or food packaging design?. |
RIP to the dead. one lesson learnt...its riskiy carrying a driping keg of petrol over a silencer. i cant remember how many times ive done that. |
owobokiri:lol....i am a Nigerian first.... no region of yhis country has it better than the rest. we all suffer the same problems....unemployment....blackouts....wishywashy education....etc. so if i say " states should be merged", that goes for all the regions...not east alone. you will admit thats rational. |
owobokiri:it brings "governance close to" you?....it will only bring a poor govt close to u...with no fund to carry outprojects that will directly affect those "undercounted mass of humanity". We should be fighting to reject any policy that will bloat recurrent expenditure further in this country. creating more unviable states in any part of Nigeria as it stands, is a move in the wrong direction....infact some states should be merged to save on salaries and allowances to free up monies for project that will raise the living standard of the people...not senators and guvnors and their long lists of personal assistants |
Very funny pictures...Harzarrd, can you apply the same effects on my pictures?....id like to know what my face will look like at old age |
wrong caption....its supposed to read..."two girls with one body" not " girl with two heads".....God is great. |
How did the abusive name "indomie brain" stick?....i wonder when how and who first used it on him....someone pls educate me o. |
MrEverest:Mr......dont use dirty language on me...ok? if u are spoiling for a fight, find a zoo and jump into the lion's cage. i never said its not an abuse of the electoral process mr man....but the truth still remains that thats not a PVC. Thats an old picture circulated since last election. INEC could have made those ones invalid....if they spotted the anormaly and did the right thing..not every body with TVC got their PCVs. Until u find a recent picture of kids with PVCs....Stfu! This thread is misleading. its just like getting a picture from an old football match in 2010 where your team won the championship, while you have a different champion reighning in 2014! |
hollandis:what is wrong with you! that is not a PVC. zoom it in and see....before u continue spewing sewage from your mouth. |
It makes no spiritual difference.....but makes political sense in a nation such as ours, where we are so religious and emotional. kneeling for prayers in public would not change who he is. Will not give him a change of heart overnight. Jonathan is Jonathan....simple. He had to go to Mouka...because Adeboye's prayers werent enough? i dont think so....all na show for the crowds.... |
100Cents:This statement is now obsolete.....just 24 hours after. i just love the way naija politcs is unfolding.......suspense too dey. |
emusmith:i must confess i cant quite place a finger on whats wrong with your initial post.....but i found traces of selfishness in it too. Its a common way of praying sha but selfish all the same. |
hand it to me. seriously....i doubt if there is anything out there legal that will give u that much return within such a short time. except....u already have other inputs, structures, machinery (etc) in place already and will only be using the 250k as working capital. Even then, it will have to be a very hot and fast product where the demand is way higher than the supply. Forget manufacturing......think trade. |
dynatress:That statement by bigcake is suprising and scary.....the mindset that could think along that line is so scary to me i swear. We keep complaining of unemployment doesnt mean unecessary and unproductive job openings should be created.......if a an organisation doesnt produce value it shouldnt exist. |
omenka:The president should request for his new jet to be retrofitted with poles for actresses and entertainerslike these who are interested in their share. He has to loot the booties too..... |
Very shallow statement. She makes it sound like being a general or a president should automatically shoot you into wealth. She is represents the rest of the entertainers wanting to go into public offices. They are just going there to loot and they cant even hide it effectively by acting honest. Actors that cant act to save their lives. No wonder they are leaving acting for other professions |
englishmart:The fact that this tragedy happened to her does not mean she loved her baby anyless....Most people of our generation were carried the same way..... |
we are very aversed to change. i Recently witnessed a debate between my sis and mother. Must we hold on to "African" ways of doing things regardless of the backwardness and dangers?. Carrying a baby on your back aint safe. so many dangers. *someone could slip something into your baby's mouth. *your baby could grab dangerous little objects in a crowded place. *Your baby's head could be hanging in an awkward and dangerous position. *i know life is hard in Naija and chaotic for most people who are not mobile.....but if u must take okada(which is unavoidable considering the unorganized transport system), make sure you use a baby carrier. im not even a father yet, but common sense na hin dey important pass |
M4gunners:na by fat abi big belle dem dey take rule Nigeria? |
johnydon22:i tell u.....na the normal mumbo-jumbo be that o....".christianity is not a religion". pseudo deep. |
Blackchampion:Do you know how heavy 18kg is?....its not super expenssive at 5k my friend. its just the marketing channel thats off. but maybe he is targeting the upscale market only.. |
