Me sef I have been waiting for the robust reply. Imagine ESE Walters denounced Christ because a shepherd failed in his shepherd role and had some much effontery to say he operates on a higher grace. Time will tell, only a matter of time. Pastors be showing off. Next time Biodun Fatoyinbo will start perming and geling his hair and tattoo his skin in the name of trying new things.

PoliticsRe: FG Secures $7.5bn Loan From China For Rail Project by Tayeni(m): 1:28pm On Feb 13, 2017
thisisayus:
When will these people ever focus on projects that will build our economy and not the ones they'll use in stomaching money abroad?
If you care to know, these loans are tied to a project that will never develop third-world's economy! That's what they do so that you'll keep coming.
The last time I wrote something on it, it was deleted on twitter by the developed economy cos now they know few people are wise.
Whatever happened to Power? Mines and Steel? Revamping the education sector to meet with 21st century need?
Will the rail project be given to indigenous companies? Very soon, Sarathief will come online to campaign for "buy naija to grow the naira"

Our acclaimed leaders will get loans from them, award the contracts to them with a promise to get 10% from the awarded contracts and when they are about repatriating the fund, it'll go along with their 10% in an account the multinationals opened in their name in their country.
How will they ever want our indigenous companies to grow and some bastards will still come here to sing their praises!

Explain how you'll use such project to revive a recessed economy?

you expect power and steel to work well without a well thought out transportation network? there are so many things to criticise but this is not one of them Oga. let's stop mouthing off just because....and start thinking critically ourselves.
Nigerians hard to please.... damned if you do: damned if you don't.

And the poor masses suffer at the hands of oil marketers ins't it?
But again, why am I even responding this way? When the same Buhari, Tinubu were vehement during GEJ's proposal to remove subsidy?
Lets talk straight n be truthful pls.
one quick question for you sir.....was SURE-P a success?. how many people benefited from it. they said subsidy was fraudulent i agree...but the management of the money gained frm partial removal of subsidy was even more fraudulent. it was so predictable that the money would be mismanaged...that was why i for one, kicked against the removal of subsidy back then.

until the judiciary starts living up to their responsibility, EFCC should continue with this strategy.
PoliticsRe: What Do You Think About My Boss' Parable? by Tayeni(m): 9:22am On Dec 15, 2015
ENEONWO:
Your boss is the greatest fool to have ever walked the surface of the earth! By his warped argument, we should all keep developing the economy into some few pockets. We must focus all attention on developing the economy, after which some people would embezzle all the money and the next government would look the other way because your boss would accuse them of neglecting the economy at the expense of the war against corruption, so; they must also focus all attention on developing the same economy. So, we continue running in the cycles of develop-loot/embezzle-develop- loot/embezzle. Your Oga is advising that if you build a house and it is fails, you go back to build on the same place without first arresting the cause of the failure! Let me tell you that if this country must succeed, Buhari must ensure that a thorough and sustained war against corruption is done. That way, whatever progress we make will not be eroded by avaricious officers of the state, whose stock-in-trade is primitive acquisition of wealth at the expense of national development.
i wonder about the thought process of people like his boss too. sometimes i think Nigerian leaders have been installed with a goat's software......without a sustained and never-before seen level of anti corruption fight...they will still go back from where they hv been chased. if the only achievement of Buhari is curbing corrption and instiling discipline, thats enough for me. On that foundation, subsequent leaders can build upon.

CareerRe: Poor Salary Not A Justification To Steal - Finance Minister Adeosun by Tayeni(m): 4:29pm On Dec 01, 2015
hedonistic:
Good that you admitted that you don't know about rent rates in Abuja.

Of course they live within their "means"; most people do, you can't spend money that you don't have. The question to ask is, what 'means'? The miserable N50k a month only, or other avenues for self-enrichment within the government bureaucracy? Without the latter, life would be impossibly miserable for every government worker.

Nigeria is designed for corruption. The system envisages, encourages, and even necessitates it.
yeah yeah.....kind of agree with your last statement. corruption gives birth to an inefficient, skewed....unfair system......which makes like "impossibly miserable" for the honest ones.....when he cant bear the misery any longer.....he becomes corrupt too. its a vicious cycle.we are both right but i think it starts from corruption while u think it starts from low salaries.

How much is the average mini flat in Abuja? I'm not sure you can get less than 250k even in the so-called satellite towns. Many civil servants in the ministries in Abuja earn approximately N50k a month. Where do you want them to live with their families? In a container?
i dont live in abuja...i dont know the rent rates there....but i am very sure there are options for different income levels. live within or below your means is what i would tell them

Rubbish talk. It's easy to say because yo and your fellow thieves don't depend on your salaries anyway.

Tell that to an average worker earning N50,000 a month who has to pay 'modest' house rent of N250,000 a year.
oga.....a man that earns 50k a month and wants to live in a house of 250k a year is the definition of stupidity.....doesnt matter the city in Nigeria
