When it comes to religious matters we have to use our heads sometimes.Trinity, in Christian doctrine is the unity of the father ,son and holy spirit as three persons in one Godhead. I disagree with you. The parable was for us not for Jesus. In parables, you use things that are common and understood by the people you are speaking to.
So Jesus Christ did not need to check the biology textbooks to find out the smallest seed before making his parable. All he needed to do was to use what was local to the people. He used what the understood and billions of his followers understand the message in the parable.
