Trumann: Any non-igbo lady who marries an Igbo man eventually regrets it. When the chips are down, your in laws will show you Hell. Not that they hate you in particular, but Igboland has very poor regards for their women and they treat their women like trash once the husband is dead. Another tribalist. |

AmericanDad: Hey guys, I just found out my colleague at work iv been sleeping with is pregnant. We were'nt dating tho we were just having fun together. We both came into the organization the same time and we earn very well like well above 500k per month. I'm 33 and she's 28. Shes having double mind about it and thinking of abortion but I told her No. Her reason is what will our colleagues say and how her family will react to her being pregnant out of wedlock.
The issue is she's from calabar and I'm from anambra. I'm the only son of my parents. Iv not told my folks yet but they definately would prefer me to marry an igbo girl. Also guys, we have started talking marriage plans but now that she's pregnant can the church wed us? or should I just do Traditional and court then after the baby is born I do white wedding Time is ticking oo. People with real problems are talking and you that doesn't have any problem is also posting. Your only challenge from your post is that she is from Calabar. Let me just pray for you. May you not see real problems. Let all your problems be as sweet as this. As for advice, do whatever would make you sleep well at night |

Bishopkingsley: Jesus as a man has a father .
But Jesus as God the son was not born because he is God
God the Father calls Jesus God in the Bible do you see it
The title name of God the Father is the father
So every creature calls him the father
The title name of God the son is the son every creature call Jesus the son
So if people call Jesus the son does that mean that he is no longer God no
His title name is the son it does not mean that he was created or smaller no it just title name
I call God the Father my father but that does not mean that he is my physical father
Read the Bible to see Jesus call many people my little children and yet he was not up to 35, years
That is to show you the father is living in him 1.First we read in the bible that God would live in any man who keeps his commandments 2. God is actually your father. He is the father of your spirit. Zech 12.1 The burden of the word of the Lord for Israel, saith the Lord, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him. 3. The first question I asked you was who is Jesus father. Before Christ came in the flesh, did he have a father? 4. If you agree that Jesus Christ and his Father are 2 different people then what is your argument? |

Bishopkingsley: What was born was the flesh man body of Jesus
But Jesus as God the son was never born he has always been God the son
That was why he said this
John 8:58 ► “Very truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I am!”
New Living Translation Jesus answered, “I tell you the truth, before Abraham was even born, I Am !”
So like I told you Jesus is both man and God almighty
The man Jesus was born but the God the son Jesus was not born So basically you are saying that Jesus has no father |

Bishopkingsley: As true Christians, we believe in a Triune God who exists as one being and three persons – God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
Let’s take how God the Father relates to God the Son. You might be thinking, “This is obvious, isn’t it? They are father and son.”
But, let me ask you a question which some of our friends of other faiths will ask, “How can God have a Son? He must have a wife to have a son. Isn’t it?” I’ve seen many Christians puzzled by this question. How do we answer this question? The problem with this question is we all try to put God in our own box i.e. try to fit in the infinite God into our finite little brains. That’s what they are doing when they ask these kind of questions.
So, we answer this question with the truth we learnt just now and that is, God communicates to us in our everyday terms to help us understand something that’s beyond our understanding. How does that truth apply here?
It applies as follows, the first person of the Trinity and the second person of the Trinity share an intimate relationship which is similar to a father-son relationship in this world and that’s why God revealed himself to us in our everyday terms referring to himself as God the Father and God the Son. It can be argued the other way also, that God instituted the family and the father-son relationship to reflect the relationship between the first person and the second person of the Trinitarian God as we are made in his image to reflect him. (God doesn’t have a wife to have a son, he doesn’t need to have a wife. He just is as he is and he revealed himself to us in our terms for our understanding!)
Another example, Paul says that Jesus is the bride-groom and church is his bride in Ephesians 5. And, in Romans 8:29, he also says that Jesus is the first born among many brothers and sisters i.e. the church. If we think logically in our terms, it is impossible to think that we can be Jesus’ bride and siblings at the same time. The only way to make sense of all these terms if we hold that God’s word is inerrant is that, they are all metaphorical trying to depict the kind of relationship we share with Jesus using our everyday terms and ideas. This is how infinite God reveals himself to us who are finite beings! He comes to our level to communicate to us because he loves us and wants to relate with us.
And, the ultimate manifestation of this attribute of God is he becoming human, becoming one of us and living like us as Jesus Christ around 2000 years ago. He came into this world to reveal himself clearly, to communicate his message directly and to prepare a way for us to accept that message by dying on the cross and rising from the dead.
He didn’t have to do that, because we rejected him and became his enemies. He didn’t have to leave his throne in heaven, live a difficult life on this earth and die a gruesome death on the cross. Yet because he loved us, he became a human, he lived liked us and he died for our sins to save us from death and eternal damnation.
So, let us be thankful for what he has done for us on the cross and also for the way he being infinite God communicates to us in our everyday terms so that we can understand him and know him with our teeny, little and finite minds. You said Christ was not born but the bible says otherwise. It refers to Jesus the “firstborn” over Creation? If he was not born how does he have a father? |

Bishopkingsley: How can you say you don't agree with that when it is written in the Bible
1 Thessalonians 5:23 ► May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ
New Living Translation Now may the God of peace make you holy in every way, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ comes again.
And moreover Jesus talked about the body of man The soul of man The spirit of man
The father of Jesus is my father
.maybe you don't understand the mystery of Godliness
The only way to understand is by knowing how God created you You say it is written that man has a separate soul, body and sprit? Read the Bible again. Man is a living soul. The spirit and body make up man. At death the body is buried and the spirit returns to God. The body and the spirit make up a living soul That apart, areally you saying that the father of Jesus Christ is his soul. Your point is that God is a soul and Jesus Christ his son is a body right? So basically the soul gave birth to the body. |

That is how the soul of Jesus(which is the father) is different from Jesus

MaxInDHouse: Well i think his first century followers fully grasp what he taught before saying:
A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach! 1Timothy 3:2
Let the deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well. 1Timothy 3:12
So if you're not contented with all these i think you can marry as many as you wish just as a woman also have the right to marry more husbands after all there is no scripture that says they shouldn't do so! So from the verses your qouted, only bishops and deacon where to to have one wife.. Again the verses are not even saying they most have only one wife it's saying that they most be married |
Christianity Etc › Re: How Many Fathers Would We Have In Heaven by tctrills(op): 7:26pm On Nov 14, 2021 |
Bishopkingsley: We can say the father is like the way our soul is but it is not it exactly
we can relate the two as equivalent to be able to understand the relationship and understand Trinity But it is not like that
it just an example we can use...
If you notice your soul is the one who does all the thinking and even tells you what to say each time
But We can not say our soul is the same as the father because God is infinite and all powerful to be compared with our soul
But God made the soul in such a way so we can be able to relate to his own dimension when we only want to understand the way he is and the way we are
Now when it comes to Jesus the soul of Jesus is exactly the father and the spirit of Jesus is exactly the spirit of God
God one being having three qualities
The father The son The holy spirit
Man one being having threes qualities too The soul The body The spirit Hope you know that you are speaking from both sides of your mouth. You need to settle down and decide if Jesus is exactly the father or not. |

Bishopkingsley: I did not say Jesus is the father
Try to cool down and read properly
I said Jesus is in the father.... The father is in Jesus.... I explain it above look up
Now the way you can understand it is by understanding how your soul is inside your body yet your soul is different from your body but both of them to you does not look like they are different because they do everything the same way
I explained it before that each human have their own spirit and when God lives in you your spirit plus God spirit are in linkage that why you are not completely God.
But in Jesus case Jesus spirit is actually the spirit of God himself
No my point is look at your own body and you can see your soul and spirit is living inside you...
Now can you see that both your soul and your spirit are all working together as one Inside your body and you now can not even know the difference between all of them
Even though they are different I don't even agree with your soul argument but even if it's true are you saying that the father is Jesus soul? Again since you have now stated that Jesus isn't the same as the father then I think we finally agree |

Bishopkingsley: I did not say it it is God that said it
John 14:11 ► Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the works themselves.
New Living Translation Just believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me. Or at least believe because of the work you have seen me do.
Now let me explain it.
Every thing you see in the universe is inside God because God is infinite and God is every where so even you if you are a child of God you are inside God Bible said that too
Now God manifest in three ways. God manifest as
As the father As the son As the holy spirit
God the Father is in God God the son is in God God the holy spirit is in God
And God the Father is still God And God the son is still God And God the holy spirit is still God
Now since God the son Jesus is in God that is why the father (God) is in him and he (God) is in the father (God) So in short, your point is that they are the same person but still they are not the same? Jesus replied: If anyone loves me, they will obey me. Then my Father will love them, and we will come to them and live in them. Does that mean the person then becomes the father.. remember you said Jesus is the father because the father lives in him |

MaxInDHouse: I love the way you accept that Jesus has the final say, God will surely bless you for that.
Well he said:
In reply he said: “Have you not read that the one who created them from the beginning made them male and female and said: ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and his mother and will stick to his wife, and the two will be one flesh’? Matthew 19:4-5
There are three points here: IN THE BEGINNING: Jesus is here talking about the initiation of marriage!
God made THEM MALE and FEMALE. Note the pronoun THEM which all of us know that Jesus was referring to TWO persons, then MALE (not MALES) and FEMALE (not FEMALES)
Then in the second highlighted:
Jesus said "the TWO will become ONE"
The reason for all these is because Jesus is taking us back to Paradise where there will be no mourning, crying, pain, hatred or rivalry. So if people or prophets in the past couldn't decipher this, it's not their fault because the Messiah (Christ) who happens to be with the true God has not come to establish how things ought to be! John 4:25
God bless you and may you have PEACE! So it's note like Jesus commanded we marry only one wife but you are trying to explain your beliefs with his words. You seem to be putting words into Christ mouth. You act live Jesus can't express himself clearly and he needs you to do the explaining for him. If you most be honest, no where in the verse you quoted was against marrying more wives. We should be one with our wives true but it never stated we can't be one with more than one wife. The entire body of believers are expected to be one with themself. So what really is your point. Also I disagree with you that we should disregard the teachings of the old testament. If there is any part of the old testament that was changed by Christ, it's only the law of Moses. Every teaching in the old testament is the word of God. Speaking about the believers, Christ said "Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name, the name you gave me, so that they may be one as we are one" |

Bishopkingsley: I have never said they are the same
What I said is Jesus is in the father and the father is in Jesus
You can screen shot the place you claim I said they are the same
Now to your other questions
Now Jesus Christ is both man and Almighty God
Now Almighty God has the ability to be in heaven and to be on earth at the same time
In fact God has the power to be in every place at the same time
So that it why it is not a new thing when Jesus who is God and man was on earth praying to God in heaven
Now as a man the Bible commands every one to pray to God in heaven that is why because Jesus is both God and man so as a man that he is he will pray to God in heaven
Remember God has the power and ability to be in any place at the same time so God the son as a man can pray to God the Father in heaven
So the father is living in Jesus and at the same time living in heaven.... Do you now see it Are you sure you comprehend your own words? You said Jesus is in the father and the father is in Jesus.. but now you say they are not the same... you need to make up your mind on your beliefs |

MaxInDHouse: Well the Bible has been completed so anyone talking about Revelations of some other sought now is ADDING to what God says. Jesus said God created Adam and Eve in the beginning. Adam was given one wife by the creator so it's wrong to jump that protocol and move on to having more than one wife. Some women today are having two husbands under one roof and sleeping with both of them, the same is applicable to them! I lover your logic but you are still depending on human wisdom not revelation. True, God created Adam and Eve but he did not teach that man can't marry more than one woman that is your own addition. Going by your argument,if God intends one man one wife then the population of men and women should always be the same. We can use the argument both ways but it would still be human wisdom. My point is, the bible never revealed the mind of God in that subject and it's wrong to assume God's reason for creating only one woman for Adam. The early prophets married many wives and it was not counted unto them as sin. In fact, in rebuking David, Samuel told him that he was allowed to marry as many wives as he wanted but his sin was in going after another man's wife. |

Blaksheep: Please I need our bible scholars to shed more light into the bibles verses.
Mark 7: 24 - 30.
24 And from thence he arose, and went into the borders of Tyre and Sidon, and entered into an house, and would have no man know it: but he could not be hid.
25 For a certain woman, whose young daughter had an unclean spirit, heard of him, and came and fell at his feet:
26 The woman was a Greek, a Syrophenician by nation; and she besought him that he would cast forth the devil out of her daughter.
27 But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it unto the dogs.
28 And she answered and said unto him, Yes, Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children's crumbs.
29 And he said unto her, For this saying go thy way; the devil is gone out of thy daughter.
30 And when she was come to her house, she found the devil gone out, and her.
From these bible passages it seems as if Christ was partial with his miracles or his miracles were meant for certain tribes or nations. Yes it seems he was partial in his miracles but we should be asking why. Why are some born into Christian homes and others into non Christian nations. Why are some born into war and extreme poverty and others into abundance and peace. Is God partial? The answer is No he isnt. He places everyone in circumstances that are best for the individual's eternal welfare. We humans don't see the entire picture God sees it all and does what's best even when it seems unfair to man |
