So what is the appropriate English word to be used for that text? Is it grave or memorial tomb knowing fully well that God's word says WICKED will be abandoned in their graves? Psalms 9:17 compare to 1Kings 13:2; 2Kings 23:16

I read different verses.. again, let's not pretend to be scholars in Hebrew or ancient Jewish history or pretend to understand Hebrew more than those who translated the bible.

Pls explain the contradiction with Genesis. I see zero contradiction. And yes the dead can mean so many things but in this case, it clearly talks about those physically dead.. They live as God in spirit.
Also remember this is a continuation of 1peter3 where it clearly teaches the very same principle.
Like I always say no need to add our personal doctrine to the gospel of Christ.

Verses of the Bible DON'T TEACH, you can only quote or cite a verse but you need someone to TEACH you the PRACTICAL APPLICATION of what was WRITTEN otherwise every verse will be taken literally and that will lead to endless arguments and contradictions.

So instead of quoting a verse and expecting it to solve the issue why not try to correlate the verse you have in mind with the rest of the scriptures and see if you'll arrive at a comprehensive end?

Death sadly, is the end of all living things. Unless science somehow finds a way of reversing/preventing aging or cloning a person from its genetic material, death is the end. All these romanticized idea of heaven, hell and whatnots is simply not rooted in reality.

There is this story I might share later as the spirit leads..
But before my recent "NOT GOOD AT ALL" ordeal, I was a voluntary worker in church..
It was a decision I took when I was going through severe Sapa last year.. I will wake up early as 5am and go clean the church, it was a massive church that took me hours to clean but I was always glad cleaning it and sometimes, the leader of the church will meet me there and pray for me...
This was going on for a while and thank God for alfajohn that encouraged me and helped during my trying times last year.
So sometimes around July last year, things begin to change for good and for a year plus, I was always cleaning and contributing my own quota to the church not until my recent predicament...
I was away for almost 3months believing I am onto a better thing but things didn't go well (a story for another day) I lost everything..
The news in town was that I traveled out, I no Sabi where the notion came from Sha.. So people in the church already believed I traveled until they saw me recently..
So before I left for Lagos, I already made a vow to God to do something tangible that people will always use as a point of contact, I did it before leaving and even the church leader was happy and prayed for me..
So when I came to her and explained all I went through, the first question was, did you sell your business? And I said yes..
She just prayed casually and dismissed me even though I said to eat was a problem now that my family now stays with me...

not that I expected money or anything but I was expecting some kind of preferential treatment based on my past deed in the church....
This is not to tarnish the church or the body of christ but,

The way I see it is simple. If a church pays it's pastors then the cleaners, choir and other workers should also be paid. Since they are all doing the work of God.
